Hello fellow trainers and welcome to my first rate my team
I present to you today a : Hazard stacking Mega Sharpedo team.

First of all I want to warn you about my english, as I'm french there might some problemes about that.
Then, please enjoy this.
- Team buidling process :
At first I so wanted to play Mega sharpedo so I began with him, simple.
Then I knew that I would go towards multiple hazards, not only stealth rocks, so I thought that the Bisharp + Gengar core would work well to protect my multiple spikes and everything from getting ride off as Gengar spin block and bisharp punishes Pokémons from defoging.
Now that I had my mega and my core, I needed these hazards. I wanted to start by the spikes with Ferrothorn as he is still a good pivot and once you have destroyed his checks you nearly have the win, good Pokémon.
Then I thought about toxic spikes so I could turn my gengar into a Hex Gengar so all the wear down from the status would help Sharpedo that could stall more with protects.
I went with Tentacruel as it complitely walls Keldeo which is a perfect check to my Sharpedo.
With that I now had my hazard control and my toxic spikes.
Finally I needed stealth rocks for flying pokémons. I went with Heatran to form a FWG Core and as my team trully needed fire and ground type attacks and espacially a counter to our friend Talonflame. (Curse you brave gale wins !)
I figured that Bisharp didn't fit the team quite well and I asked myself if there was other good Defiant or Competitive Pokémon. I found that Mixed Thundurs-I would be good, especially for his Ice type attack, his knock off, his power and ability to check Chansey that I can't take down if I loose too much of my guys.

- How to play :
The purpose is simple, put loads of entry hazards, defend them with ghost type and defiant (competitive if you want) and then sweep with the cleaner when everyone is down or the oppurtiny shows up, like a choiced move that you resist or are immune to.
Identifying which hazard is the most important is a key too. See a lot of Steel and Flying types ? No Toxic spikes today. You'll go for Stealth Rock then.
For exemple, this team :
Spikes is good for Garchomp, Blissey and Forretress. Stealth rock for Talonflame and the others. Toxic Spikes can be good as there is no Poison type to absorb them and Blissey will not love toxic at all (even though Gengar can freely laught in front of it we need a back up plan). Still Toxic spikes is the last priority because it only hits Garchomp, Blissey and Mega Alakazam (maybe Mega).

- The dream team analyse :
Heatran :

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Magma Storm
- Taunt
- Stealth Rock
- Earth Power
Heatran fits so well with the team by is ability to stallbreak with Magma Storm and Taunt, to put up rocks, to check Talonflame which threatens so much my Sharpedo (enough that I just lose if he is here and that my Heatran is dead). Earth Power is here for coverage.
Tentacruel :

Tentacruel @ Black Sludge
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 224 HP / 252 Def / 32 Spe
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Rapid Spin
- Toxic Spikes
- Knock Off
Tentacruel has really uselfull moves for my Sharpedo and for the team, especially Toxic spikes and Rapid spin. Toxic spikes in tandem with Sharpedo's Protect allows Sharpedo to wait for the opposing Pokémons to fall into a HOKO range. Also Tentacruel can take a bit of Conkeldurr in the face due to is poison type as Conk', just like Talonflame, destroys me because of Mach-punch on Sharpedo.
Ferrothorn :

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Leech Seed
- Spikes
- Gyro Ball
- Thunder Wave
Ferrothorn set up spikes nicely and walls tons of Pokémons. Heatran's Flash fire protect it well from fire while Gengar and Tentacruel absorb the Fighting types attacks. Pretty standard set here, Thunder Wave helps shutting down sweeper's killing sprees, Gyro Ball because it hits try hard sweepers that stays in. Leech seed is here to stall nicely.
Power Whip was over Thunder Wave before but as Dee Train pointed out it's better like that.
Gengar :

Gengar @ Black Sludge
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 8 HP / 248 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Taunt
- Will-O-Wisp
- Hex
- Sludge Wave
Hex gengar works in tendem with Toxic spikes for insane damage output and can spread nice burn while spinblocking although Starmie screws him up a bit. Taunt is here for stallbreaking purpose and Sludge wave for another nice STAB.
Thundurus :

Thundurus @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 76 Atk / 180 SpA / 252 Spe
Naive Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Knock Off
- Superpower
- Hidden Power [Ice]
I was going for Bisharp for this role at first but Thundurus fits better with his HP Ice and his ability to wreck Chansey (so does Gengar but still), also he can fly so it's a ground weakness supressed opposed to Bisharp who adds one. Mixed Thundurus here is nice if the opponent packs Defog as he will give me +2 for my Knock Off and Superpower, pretty standard set. Thunderbolt does nice damage to Mega Sableye.
Sharpedo :

Sharpedo @ Sharpedonite
Ability: Speed Boost
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Poison Jab
- Protect
The cleaner boy. When opposing Pokémons are worn down enough and the opportunity is present, I realease the beast and go on for a rampage and a nice clean. Crunch becomes super strong with STAB + Strong Jaw. Waterfall is the other STAB. Poison Jab as Water already takes out the Ground/Flying pokémons. Protect for Speed boost of course.
Shiny on this is one is needed because of pink.
- Other ideas
Please consider this section as : the things that might impove the team but that I don't know how to add them. I'd like some help on that part.
Skarmory :
This guy could set up spikes or rocks for me while using Whirldwind to shuffle pokémons into these hazard.
Fairy type :
As Sableye have fun with my hazards, I might want some type of Fairy attacks to keep him quiet, maybe Dazzling gleam on Gengar ?
Another ghost type :
Gengar is a good pokémon but too frail for the role I'm giving him + It's nice that he shut's down Chansey and blocks rapid spin but Starmie has fun to Pyshock right after as I don't have Bisharp.
Speed :
I feel like I lack speed but I might be wrong, any opinions on that ?

- Threat list :
Here are the pokémon that gave me trouble and that had my whole attention during matches.
Tornadus-T : This guy outpseed and/or destroy so many guys on my team as I don't pack a scarf or priority and Thundurus don't have T-Wave.
Conkeldurr : Mach-punch = Dead Sharpedo + his moves destroy most of my mons, n°1 threat.
Talonflame : Brave Bird = Dead Sharpedo + My only checks are Heatran & Tentacruel so if they are worn down too much or just dead, it's game.
Breloom : once again, mach-punch presence here, Tentacruel and Gengar can do some to him too.
Gyarados : His Lum Berry screws me up because if I switch on Thundurus he sets up a DDance and if I want to burn it with Gengar Lum berry activates, If I want to paralyse it then I set up like crazy because I have to paralyze it twice and I don't think I can survive +2 or 3.
Dragonite : Haven't seen one yet but I feel like EQ / Dclaw / DDance / ESpeed won't do me good, my only hope is Ferrothorn.
Choice scarf pokémons : They are so good for me to set up Hazards or speed boost on psychic types but they are so bad in the end as two speed boost are hard to get, double protect have been the answer most of the time.
This part will be filled as time goes on.

- Replays : Not yet, I'm on the quest of looking for it don't worry my friends.
That concludes this rate my team, hope you liked it.
I'd love, you to give me advices on this team as I feel like the idea is not that bad as Sharpedo is a good cleaner but I'm not that good at teambuilding and I want to stop picking other rate my teams on the forum for my tournaments.
