Hello! Welcome to another RMT made by yours truly! Today is a special RMT, since this is the first time I’m uploading a team made for a special event. In this case, it is the Cinderace resuspect! Now, enough talking for me! Let me get into the team!
Teambuilding Process
I started this teambuilding process by building around Hydreigon. Hydreigon I feel is a bit underrated at the moment. First of all, it can live 2 Wicked Blows from Urshifu-S, and has well-rounded coverage in Flash Cannon and Fire Blast.

Hydreigon doesn’t OHKO Clefable and Togekiss if it isn’t boosted by Nasty Plot, and can leave it prone to being OHKOed by Moonblast. Hence, I added Magnezone to my team. It is able to check Clefable and Togekiss. It is also able to trap Corviknight and Skarmory which could be pretty useful to this team.

Azumarill is an odd choice for this team, but there’s a reason why I added it. That reason is because Urshifu-S and Urshifu-R Choice-locked into Close Combat, as well as Magnezone destroys the last two members. I added Azumarill to check the three of them.

I wanted a setup sweeper, so I added Volcarona. It is also able to 4x resist Wood Hammer and Grassy Glide from Rillaboom, which eases Hydreigon and Magnezone job to switch into it.

Although this team looks fine, it is still incomplete. I still lacked a revenge killer and a Pokemon that can check rare bulky Waters like Seismitoad, Quagsire, and Gastrodon. Rillaboom does both these things best, since it is able to set up Grassy Terrain to power up its already scary STAB.

Every hyper offense team needs a suicide lead. I picked Mew for this team, since it is able to shut down other suicide leads from doing their jobs properly, and is fast, so it is able to set up entry hazards quickly before sacrificing itself.
Now that Cinderace is legal, I made it my 6th member, since it does everything better than Volcarona. It gets STAB for each move thanks to Libero, and it is especially scary because of Cinderace’s coverage.
Team:

Hydreigon @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Draco Meteor
- Flash Cannon
- Dark Pulse
This is the standard Nasty Plot set of Hydreigon. However, I made one slight change. I favored STAB Dark Pulse over Roost, since at +2, it can OHKO Hippowdon,
and yet it still keeps its boosted SpA, making it free to use Draco Meteor twice when Nasty Plot is successfully pulled off.

Magnezone @ Choice Specs
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Thunderbolt
- Flash Cannon
- Volt Switch
- Toxic
This is the typical Choice Specs set of Magnezone. It is able to bring in its team members safely due to Volt Switch, and is able to spread status with Toxic. I chose Magnet Pull over Analytic in order to guarantee knockouts on Corviknight, Skarmory, Scizor, and Aegislash.

Azumarill @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Belly Drum
- Play Rough
- Aqua Jet
- Knock Off
I absolutely love ripping teams apart with Azumarill. It is a nice revenge killer with Aqua Jet. It can also OHKO or 2HKO most walls, including Clefable, Toxapex, Ferrothorn, etc. It best functions late game, where it is free to sweep without fears of checks.

Cinderace @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Libero
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Pyro Ball
- Zen Headbutt
- Sucker Punch
- U-turn
The classic Cinderace set. It has everything it needs to conquer most of the meta. Pyro Ball is STAB to handle Rillaboom and the Steel birds Corviknight and Skarmory. Zen Headbutt is also STAB to handle Toxapex. Sucker Punch is a revenge killing option to OHKO faster Pokémon like Dragapult. Finally, U-turn so that it can pivot into teammates.

Rillaboom @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Wood Hammer
- U-turn
- Grassy Glide
- Knock Off
Rillaboom is here, and it is a very useful member of the team. It is a solid physical wallbreaker thanks to Wood Hammer, a revenge killer thanks to Grassy Glide, and a pivot with U-turn. It is also able to supply recovery to the team due to the effects of Grassy Terrain. It is especially useful seeing that the team has no means of recovery.

Mew @ Red Card
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Flare Blitz
Mew I feel is an underrated Pokémon at the moment. It is extremely versatile, being able to set up hazards extremely fast, as well as being able to punish status spreaders thanks to Synchronize. It can them finally kill itself by setting up one more hazard before fainting, or by using Flare Blitz to knock itself out.
I hope you enjoyed my team! If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate them!
