This team was actually inspired by my other rmt.
TEAM PROCESS: Charizard x + Rotom-wash
charizard want a mon that can switch in on scarf lando-t and greninja (most of the time) and also help control bird spam + free switches into earthquakes
Latios can give defog support for zard and eq to finish off tran to help zard
Simba (Landorus-Therian) (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 24 HP / 252 Atk / 234 Spe
Jolly Nature
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Superpower
I wanted a mon that has speed intimidate and u turn support for momentum what more can you ask for. superpower for mega gyarados and stab stone edge does damage to dragonite zard x and y as well as u turning to damage greninja and lati@s. laundorus is a good mon to lead with. I run 234 speed on landorus to outspeed jolly scarf drill even though it is not as common now. This speed also allows you to outspeed +1 charizard x as long as they are not running jolly.
Cleaning Act (Rotom-Wash) @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 212 HP / 148 Def / 148 SpD
Bold Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Rotom has levitate which allows it to switch in when lando tries to eq zard x as well as being a good counter to lando rotom helps with talon and other mons weak to burn rotom always has the option to volt switch out if it expects a switch rotom and lando provide some what of a volt turn core the spread is to live 2 lo greninja dark pulses.
ACNE (Ferrothorn) @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Leech Seed
- Protect
Well originally a breloom i switched to ferrothorn so i could get up rocks without having to get a new mon although i miss spore ferrothorn brings a lot of bulk to the table and actually works on offensive teams dont ask me how iron barbs and leech seed add up + gyro ball doing good chunks to most fast mons. ferro provides a check for non hp fire ninja and lati@s which could be problems. You want ferrothorn for the bulk and to be able to keep rocks up for the majority of the game which is easy because this mon doesn't die easily. I am running Sassy to help rotom-w handle greninja. Be careful to scout hp fire before you get comfortable around greninja and lati@s but that is obvious.
SMILE (Gengar) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Sludge Wave
- Taunt
Gengar has the 3 attack taunt set sludge wave is to get rid of the fairies early in the game to open up room for zard and latios to feel more comfortable focus blast can damage and even ko pursuit tyranitar on the switch in as well as doing more than half to specially defensive heatran ferrothorn won't want to stay in against this monster either. gengar was many positive traits as a fast stall breaker
BLUE (Latios) (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 32 Atk / 224 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
IVs: 30 SpA
- Earthquake
- Draco Meteor
- Defog
- Recover
Laios provides defog support for charizard and also deals heaps of damage with draco meteor i am running earthquake on latios to catch trans by surprise. trans normally are a threat to this team but eq latios if played right ( which means not making it obvious by switching it in on heatran or eq on the protect) can rid of this bother. recover is to keep Latios from getting worn down. with its important role as defogger its good to keep it healthy even though psyshock and thunderbolt would be great for azu
KING ME (Charizard-Mega-X) (M) @ Charizardite X
Ability: Tough Claws
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 92 HP / 220 Atk / 8 SDef / 184 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Flare Blitz/earthquake
- Roost
- Dragon Dance
Its charizard x what more do you want a mon with great typing only 3 weaknesses i can think of and access to recovery and dragon dance a long with a great move pool and good stats this mon in truly a menace once you handle his common checks (launders-t and heatran) this mon will sweep it is completely worth running on a team and will not let you down. Zard x needs good teammates to perform at his best and that is what he has latios will help with tran and rotom and ferrothorn can weaken launders-t basic stuff keep up your hazards to get free chip damage Thanks to Enki i switched to an offensive set that can outspeed laundorus-t with choice scarf as long as you get up a dd. I decided flare blitz > eq because flare blitz lets you hit laundorus-t for solid damage and lets you hit clefairy azumarill and mega gardevoir something that earthquake can not do. the advantage to earthquake is hitting heatran and tyranitar no need for earthquake when I run it on latios
I might link replays of ladder proof later if I find the time
