SS OU Climbing wit Galar Slowking

Simply put I want to climb with a team involving Galar Slowking. If there is any adjustments I must add I'm willing to change them. This team I had good success with.

Conkeldurr @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 200 HP / 252 Atk / 56 Def
Adamant Nature
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Facade
- Mach Punch

Somewhat decent Urshifu check while being a overall strong wall check. Conk is bulky but is slow and has to often take a hit to deal a hit and alongside with flame orb it can get worn down very fast so Drain Punch is essential. Knock off is good for removing items but is mainly so that I dont just get undoubtedly stopped by Dragapult and especially Spectrier. Facade helps punch holes in anything that doesn't resist and Mach Punch for obvious priority.

Slowking-Galar @ Assault Vest
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 228 HP / 180 SpA / 100 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Future Sight
- Eerie Spell
- Sludge Bomb
- Flamethrower

AV Slowking seems to be the best set so I went with it. Future Sight helps to pressure teams. Eerie Spell can help with shortening the amount of said moves that they use which is why I went with it over Psychic. Sludge Bomb is good for landing poisons while also dealing with fairies. Flamethrower helps with dealing with steel types including Ferrothorn which would otherwise wall it completely.

Pheromosa @ Life Orb
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 SpD
Rash Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Ice Beam
- Shock Wave
- Focus Blast

An unpredictable set that helps deal with bulky flying threats such as Mandibuzz, Zapdos and Moltres. Ice beam deals with Lando T and one Quiver Dance let's u destroy Blissey with Focus Blast.

Rillaboom @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Adamant Nature
- Grassy Glide
- Wood Hammer
- U-turn
- Knock Off

Rillaboom acts as both my Sweeper and Wallbreaker. Banded Grassy Glide alone nearly OHKO's most mons that don't resist or have high bulk even Offensive Tornadus gets 2HKO'd by it. Wood Hammer is to ensure that I do devastating damage to any mon. My team needed a way to pivot so Rillaboom provides that with U -turn. Knock off/Superpower I feel are interchangeable but went with Knock off to help make it easier to break down bulkier teams and for obvious switches to get a free item removal.

Toxapex @ Black Sludge
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic
- Recover
- Haze

Toxapex helps deal with physical Mosa, decent Katana check and Cinderace check. Scald burn helps to chip down teams as well as toxic. Recover for sustain and haze to stop set up mons.

Moltres @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Flamethrower
- Scorching Sands
- Defog
- Roost

Even better Katana and Physical Mosa check also decent for using to check Melmetal and can check Heatran. I went with a more Offensive set rather than the normal bulky set as I feel there is enough bulk for this team. Flamethrower for nice stab, Scorching sands helps check Heatran. I have defog because I don't have a way to stop hazard set up and roost for sustainability.


One thing I can point is that I obviously don't have a stealth rock pokemon.
