Cobalion finds itself as a premier Stealth Rock setter for Fighting teams. Its great Steel / Fighting typing and nice bulk allow it to take both Psychic- and Fairy-type moves neutrally as well as resist Dragon-type moves, which are both very key for Fighting teams. Its high Speed and access to Taunt can help prevent opposing Pokemon such as Celebi, Galvantula, Araquanid, and Toxapex, from setting entry hazards and Defoggers from removing hazards, making Cobalion a fantastic anti-lead. Iron Head hits Fairy-types that are threatening for Fighting teams, such as Clefable and Hatterene, for super effective damage. Cobalion can also use Thunder Wave to cripple Pokemon such as Choice Scarf users such as Gardevoir and Dragapult, making them less of a threat. Alternatively, Cobalion can be used as a pivot with Volt Switch to gain momentum for the team. Maximum HP investment allows Cobalion to take attacks such as Gardevoir's Moonblast and Gengar's Dazzling Gleam better, and maximum Speed investment ensures it can Speed tie with Galvantula and potentially prevent it from getting up Sticky Web.

Teammates such as Terrakion, Keldeo, Hawlucha, Conkeldurr, and Kommo-o appreciate Cobalion setting Stealth Rock for them, wearing down the opposing team and breaking Focus Sashes held by Pokemon such as Polteageist, Cloyster, and Barbaracle. Fighting teams also value a fast Taunt from Cobalion, as Fighting teams can often lack reliable hazard removal aside from Conkeldurr. All of Cobalion's teammates appreciate it being able to deal with Fairy-type Pokemon such as Clefable and Mimikyu. Keldeo can deal with Ground-types that threaten Cobalion, such as Excadrill and Hippowdon, and prevent opposing Defoggers from removing Stealth Rock with Taunt. Cobalion appreciates Terrakion removing Fire-type Pokemon such as Choice Scarf Charizard and Choice Scarf Darmanitan, both of which threaten Cobalion. Thunder Wave can also cripple faster threats such as Gengar, Dragapult, and Choice Scarf Gardevoir, which can allow Swords Dance Terrakion and Calm Mind Keldeo to sweep teams more easily. Teammates also appreciate Cobalion's Volt Switch, allowing them to safely come into the battle. Faster Taunt users such as Froslass can prevent Cobalion from setting up Stealth Rock, and faster hazard setters such as Ribombee can freely set up Sticky Web before Cobalion is able to use Taunt on them.

Mention how its typing allows it to take neutral from Fairy which is very valuable for Fighting teams. Also worth noting its resistance to Dragon-type attacks.

Kommo-o can threaten Cobalion with its Fighting STAB so I'd use a different example such as Toxapex's Toxic Spikes and Araquanid's Sticky Web.

Give some examples of attacks when talking about its max HP investment such as taking Gardevoir's Moonblast more comfortably as well as Specs Gengar's Dazzling Gleam.

You would just Iron Head Alolan Ninetales so don't use that as a Thunder Wave example.

A Steel typing also lets it take Psychic-type attacks neutrally. Should also mention Cobalion's nice bulk here as it works together with its good typing to get up Stealth Rock.

Since you mention the high Speed with Taunt, name some faster hazard setters over the ones you have now. Taunt also prevents Defoggers from removing Stealth Rock, so that's also important to mention.

Maximum Speed is particularly good for speed tying with Galvantula to try to prevent it from getting up Sticky Web.

Instead of talking about Cobalion beating Fairy type Pokemon for Terrakion since that's what a lot of Fighting-type Pokemon also appreciate, I would talk about how it can handle Fire-type Pokemon for Cobalion as a lot of them can stop Cobalion from getting up Stealth Rock.

Keldeo should also be talked about a bit more, it can beat Ground-type Pokemon pretty well and can help keep up Cobalion's hazards with Taunt too. Similarly to Terrakion, it also really likes Thunder Wave to slow Pokemon down.
