Cofagrigus "Double Wall" Set

Hi everybody, I'm Steel-Claw-Kingler and I' created a new possible moveset for the bulky Ghost-type Cofagrigus.

Double Wall

EVs: 252 HP / 28 Def / 224 SpD
IVs: 31 HP
Nature: Calm
Item: Leftovers

Moveset:

- Will-o-wisp
- Confuse Ray
- Hex
- Protect

Although everybody imagine a solid physical defensive set for Cofagrigus, a set that uses the bulk of our beloved coffin pokemon and the ability of inducing status modifies to foes might seem appealing. Will-o-wisp halves foe's Attack stat, a thing that Cofagrigus loves so much. Protect ensures that the opponent takes a damage from burn without damaging Cofagrigus, while Hex (with a Base Power of 100, of 125 after STAB) kills everything doesn't resist Ghost-type moves. As the main use of Cofagrigus is against Fighting-types, Psychic is a good way for that task.

Please, if anybody has an idea about that set, please tell me. Thanks.

Steel-Claw-Kingler

The set is formatted incorrectly. It should look like this:

[SET]
name: Double Wall
move 1: Will-o-wisp
move 2: Psychic
move 3: Hex
move 4: Protect
item: Leftovers
nature: Calm
evs: 252 HP / 28 Def / 224 SpD

There should also be a "set comments" and an "additional comments" section.

seems like a good set but what will it do againt those strong attackers such as gengar and pokemon that have set up a bit that are special attackers.

Well, against Gengar I'll use Psychic because it's vulnerable to Psychic-type attacks and has also a low Special Defense.
Strong setupper special sweeper.. I have in mind only Chandelure, Azelf (weak to Hex) and Roserade (weak to Psychic, but with good SpD..). Frankly the real Thorn in the side would be Porygon-Z .-.
Didn't thought about it, uops..

Just so you are aware, Gengar is not in the UU tier, it's in the OU tier so Gengar is irrelevant for an UU analysis. I'd also recommend reading the stickied threads at the top of this subforum (UU Analysis) as they will help you write more quality analyses.

There's a lot wrong with this analysis from formatting to lack of competitive viable-ness. I'm going to lock it.
