Comedian Missile

Hello there! I was just wondering if I could get some advice on my XY OU team. This team has no particular theme, I just tried to make a balanced team as best as I could. I have plenty of experience with Pokemon battling, but I'm not perfect, and I could use some criticism. Also, if you were wondering about the weird team title, it was randomly generated from this website: http://www.bandnamemaker.com/ I figured someone would be more interested in a post with the title "Comedian Missile" than "My OU team" :P

Aegislash @ Air Balloon
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- King's Shield
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Iron Head

I don't have any good reason why I started with Aegislash, other than the fact that he's been pretty good in the countless other teams I've used him in. I wasn't even sure who I wanted to start the team with, and he was the first thing to come to mind. I'd assume this is a pretty standard Aegislash set. The only different thing I did was put Iron Head rather than Sacred Sword, just for experimental
purposes. If I don't like it, I'll just put Sacred Sword back.

greninja.gif

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- U-turn

I wanted to use a Pokemon that I'd never used before, and Greninja was one that stood out. Greninja has been pretty tough in my past encounters with him, and I had just put a physical attacker on the team, and I'd need a special attacker. Once again, this is a pretty standard build, and there's not much to explain. I put HP Fire mainly to deal with those pesky Ferrothorns, or just grass types in general.

clefable.gif

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 132 Def / 124 SDef
Calm Nature
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Aromatherapy
- Toxic

Clefable is another pokemon I knew was good, but I've just never used. I decided to go for the wall build, because I already had a Greninja for switch-ins where I'd need a special attacker. I went for Toxic over Fire Blast/Ice beam because this Clefairy isn't much of an attacker, and I think it'd be better to Toxic, than switch out, and I already had HP fire and Ice beam on Greninja, but maybe that isn't a smart decsion, after all, I'm not perfect and this is an RMT.

mandibuzz.gif

Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Def
Careful Nature
- Foul Play
- Taunt
- Defog
- Roost

This is just your average Mandibuzz build, I'd suppose, other than the fact that I decided to go with for special defense EVs than defense, because Clefairy was already more defensive. Obviously went for Defog over Toxic because Clefable already had Toxic.

ambipom.gif

Ambipom @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Double Hit
- U-turn
- Ice Punch

Ambipom has been particularly frustrating to me lately on the battle spot, and whenever I see something good, I tend to use it. Technician and STAB boosted Fake Out has been extremely fun to use. I put Double Hit and Ice Punch on it, although I barely ever use anything other than Fake Out and U-Turn. Hes been a great lead so far.

togekiss.gif

Togekiss @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 SAtk / 252 Spd / 4 HP
Timid Nature
- Air Slash
- Psychic
- Dazzling Gleam
- Aura Sphere

I already had a special attacker, two physical attackers, a special attacking support and physical attacking suport, so why not another special attacker? I decided to go with a choice scarf flincher, because I've used it in the past in 1v1, and LOVED it, and I saw no reason why it couldn't be viable in 6v6 singles. I've liked it a lot so far. I assume people predict either a defensive set or a Nasty Plot set, so there's been quite a few times where I've been taunted, which does nothing for them and gives me a free turn. Psychic has been helping a lot with Poison types, and Aura Sphere for Steel types. Dazzling Gleam is also just my secondary STAB.

And as always, steal my team!:

Aegislash @ Air Balloon
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SDef
Adamant Nature
- King's Shield
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Sneak
- Iron Head

Greninja @ Life Orb
Ability: Protean
EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk
Timid Nature
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- U-turn

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 252 HP / 132 Def / 124 SDef
Calm Nature
- Moonblast
- Moonlight
- Aromatherapy
- Toxic

Mandibuzz (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Overcoat
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SDef / 4 Def
Careful Nature
- Foul Play
- Taunt
- Defog
- Roost

Ambipom @ Life Orb

- Fake Out
- Double Hit
- U-turn

On Aegislash, the king's shield should be replace with another attacking move such as head smash or sacred sword. The evs should be changed to 252 atk 4spd 252spe so you outspeed many defensive walls such as mega venasaur, mandibuzz, landorus therian, and specially defensive heatran. The ev spread on Ambipom is missing 4 evs which should be put into defense or special defense so the hp stays an odd number enabling one more switch in with stealth rocks up.
