Competative Team (BL to play all teams) one word - Kecleon

I used to have another account that contained my favourite pokemon to use...Kecleon. This team will most likely cop a lot of criticism but is i have found quite the challenge to most.

Flygon

Nature: Hasty
Ability: Levitate
Item: Choice Scarf
Ev's - 180atk, 78 sp atk, 252 speed
Moveset
- U-Turn
- Draco-Meteor
- Earthquke
- Stone Edge

My starter. He has been incredibly usefull and is taken really lightly by foes. Draco - Meteor to kill all dragons (presuming ther not choice scarfed...most arnt) U-turn when the start is not in my favour, and eq n stone edge to be used respectivly. He is also a good revenge killer, resistant to spikes and stealth rock

Kecleon

Nature: Careful
Ability: Colour Change
Item: Choice Band
Ev's - 252 sp D(372 spd) 242 hp 16 atk
Moveset
- Trick
- Thunder Wave
- Drain Punch
- Shadow Sneak

An awsome special sweeper and wall counter. Trick choiceband on to blissy's gengars, t wave if they switch, then then drain punch to get health back or shadow sneak for the revenge kill. Tricking choiceband means that if they stay in kecleon colour change plays a big part.

Vaporeon

Nature:Bold
Ability: Water Absorb
Item: Leftovers
Ev's - 252D, 252hp, 6sp atk
Moveset
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Yawn
- Wish
A standard moveset to provide wish support and haze. provides all round team stabilizing.

Sceptile
dpmfa254.png

Nature: Timid
Ability: Overgrow
Item: White Herb
Ev's - 252 speed, 252 sp attk, 6 hp

Moveset
- Substitute
- Hidden Power (fire)
- Dragon Pulse
- Leaf Storm

My special sweeper. Bring in on eq, electric moves etc, set up substitute (hopefully foes not packing priority moves) n mai priority is to enable overgrow (unless d pulse or hpfire is beter option). Overgrow leafstorm is devastating and white herb restores lost status. Hp fire is for walls like bronzong and other grass pokemon.

Hariyama
dpmfa297.png

Nature: Impish
Ability: Guts
Item: Flame Orb
Ev's - 252D, 180 atk, 78 hp

Moveset
- Fake Out
- Facade
- Bullet Punch
- Thunder Punch

Hariyama is my late game sweeper. Switch in at good time, or sacrifice a pokemon, n fake out for guts. Facade away, bullet punch to revenge kill, and thunderpunch as im very gyra weak...

Donphan
dpmfa232.png

Nature: Impish
Ability: Sturdy
Item: Leftovers
Ev's - 252hp, 252D, 6 atk

Moveset
- Ice Shard
- Earthquake
- Rapid Spin
- Roar

Your simple, standard, smogon donphan. Iv loved him ever since i saw the first pokemon movie...haha. He works nicely in conjunction with Vaporeon as a team stabilizer and support. Roar for hazing, rapid spin obvious...

Well thats my team, contains some OU pokemon, some original ones a la Kecleon :) and some good support...im sure there are areas i need work on, most likely Ev spreads...All help will be greatly apreciated.

Cheers,

Note: Vaporeon probaly wants to be HP Electric/Surf/Ice Beam/Wish since it's a good Gyarados counter. SubSalac Garchomp owns your team, so I'd use Gliscor over Donphan.

I'll edit this into a full rate when I have time.

Hmmmm, you might want to consider Hariyama over Flygon as your lead, and replace Thunderpunch with Close Combat. With all the Bronzongs running around these days, you can Fake Out to activate Flame Orb, thus preventing hypnosis, then close combat it if you so choose. I recommend just going with 252 Def, 252 Atk, 4 HP, Adamant Nature to max his offensive potential.

Of course, this change should be accompanied by Wayff's suggestion to slap HP (elec) on Vaporeon to solve any Gyarados problems.

Dunno how effective that Sceptile set will be. You'd probably be better off subseeding/using specs. For the subseeder: Sub, Leech Seed, Leaf Blade, HP (Fire/Ice)/X-Scissor or something to that effect.

On Flygon I might consider Fire Blast over Stone Edge to hit those Skarmory switch-ins, and have that deadly Dragon/Ground/Fire combo. However, this might result in Zapdos ruining your day. Also, you might want to switch the atk and specatk ev's around--with 120 evs in specatk Flygon has a 74.4% chance of OHKOing Garchomp with Draco Meteor.

On the Kecleon description I think you mean physical sweeper and not special sweeper ;D. Also, you might want to try Sucker Punch+Brick Break over Shadow Sneak+Drain Punch for that bit of extra power, but it kind of comes down to preference I guess.

All that being said, this looks like a really fun team to play around with, and your sure to catch a few opponents off-guard!

I love your kecleon (and kecleons in general) intresting team overall, lots of surprises. Might be stealing your Kecleon build for a spin in my UU team :P
