I have done a search and I cannot see a way for people here to complain.

Here is my idea.

Set up a thread or a forum where people can go to complain about abuse of power or flaming that has not been taken care of.

Personally I have just had an experience where not only was my moveset idea flamed but literally as I was typing up a responce which proved him totally wrong an admin, (Seven Deadly Sins) said the flamer was right and locked the topic.


This is wrong and I would at least like a way to have justice done.
 
You could simply PM a moderator of the forum in question, or a Supermod/Admin.
 
Actually, I think it'd be better if complaints were made public (to everyone on the staff) on a forum. A lot of forums do have complaint/report forums that's visible to the staff only.

This obviously stops the cases of unfair punishment of staff on limited information, and vice versa. It's better than the PM system we have now
 
Yeah... you know... I'd actually like a more formalized complaint system for things like Shoddy Battle complaints. Right now we lose most of the history of user complaints for things like that... and that is relevant information for the administration of the site. We'll think about it. Thanks.
 
Update: After discussing it with other staff members, I've added a section in the Shoddy Battle forum where people are able to post formal complaints about Shoddy moderator actions. I don't expect it will be used terribly often... but we should have a venue to hear such complaints. As far as forum issues go, I suggest that users with complaints simply contact an admin. The forums, by their nature, preserve the events for review more naturally than Shoddy. For that reason, I do not see a pressing need to implement a complaint collection system immediately.
