Concerns about Shoddy Battle

I am aware that a new pokemon simulator, called Pokemon Lab, has been created and is available for download. (I've downloaded it myself.)

However, I noticed that, after this new simulator was launched, the Smogon University server on shoddy battle was "offline" - no one was able to connect. It has remained this way for many days already...

Is the Smogon server ever going to go back online? If not, when will Pokemon Lab be functionable? (I've noticed that there are no use-able servers on that simulator.)


Answers, anyone?
