Hello,I'm christos21 and this is my first RMT for BW OU.This RMT features a team that I really loved using,Concordia. The name of the team comes out from the latin word Concordia which means harmony and -more or less- gives you an idea about the team. The team was originally created by Cool Ivysaur about a year ago and I helped him improve it by playing a lot of games with it and making any necessary changes.I'd like to provide you a teambuilding progress but this team has changed so many times within this year - due to metagame changes - that makes its writing really difficult for me.
Landorus-Therian (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Intimidate
EVs: 192 HP / 64 Atk / 252 Spd
Naughty Nature
- Stealth Rock
- U-turn
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power [Ice]
Landorus-T is of the three most important members of this team, considering he's an important part of my main core. He's my only stealth rock user and that alone makes him really important for this team.He acts effectively as an offensive pivot thanks to intimidate while offering momentum with U-Turn.Hidden Power Ice is mainly for Gliscor,Dragonite and other Landorus-T as I really hate Stone Edge's accuracy. The current EVs let him tie with other Adamant Landorus-T while also outspeeding offensive Heatran,Adamant Lucario,Breloom, most Celebi sets and most Jirachi. He's also acting as a Terrakion and Scizor check.Overally,I'm satisfied with him and the only thing I'd consider changing is his current EVs spread and nature as I still find him slow on some occasions.
Rotom-Wash @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 120 HP / 252 SAtk / 136 Spd
Timid Nature
- Volt Switch
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Pain Split
Rotom-W is a cool pokemon and also a part of my main core.It offers nice momentum with Volt-Switch and a powerful STAB in Hydro Pump, many nice resistances and acts as a decent rain counter. The current ev-spread lets me outspeed every non-scarfed breloom and switch out after crippling it with Will-O-Wisp on the switch.Of course,will-o-wisp is not used solely for Breloom as it render useless every physical attacker apart from Conkeldurr.Pain Split is a cool move for the last moveslot that lets Rotom-W have access to some recovery apart from leftovers.Rotom-W can also check Keldeo outside of rain but I have to be careful as a bad switch can make me lose Rotom-W and I really don't want that to happen.Rotom-W acts I expect it to act and I don't want to change anything on it apart from Will-O-Wisp which is a wonderful move but also a really frustrating one to use due to its shaky accuracy.
Jirachi @ Leftovers
Trait: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 160 SAtk / 96 Spd
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Iron Head
- Thunderbolt
- Ice Punch
Jirachi is easily the MVP of the team. The set I run is made by me to suit the team's needs and that's why it's so effective in this team, despite looking quite odd.The current evs let me outspeed threats such as Mamoswine,Adamant Landorus-T,Breloom,Heatran,Jolly Dragonite and almost every Celebi set.U-Turn lets me keep the volt-turn momentum and also severely damage Celebi. Most people don't expect a set like this, especially when they see that I use leftovers, and this often leads to switching their Garchomp/Landorus-T on Ice Punch or Skarmory on Thunderbolt and having them badly damaged or killed.Despite the absence of Bulk Jirachi can still act as a Dragon counter as Latias is too weak,Dragonite is outsped and OHKO'd provided that I have stealth rock,non-specs Latios can't 2HKO and I can U-Turn to Mamo for the kill.Well,it doesn't beat Kingdra and Salamence but other team members can handle them easily(Latias can outpseed both of them and Mamo can revenge Mence). As you can see,I sacrificed Jirachi's bulk to maintain offensive momentum and that's not a problem unless the opponent is using Specs Latios. The only change I'd wanna do is on the Atk and SAtk EVs ; I think that they could distributed a bit differently.
Gengar (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Substitute
- Disable
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
SubDisable Gengar,I think that pretty much summarizes what Gengar does.Great wallbreaker/stallbreaker,extremely annoying and very powerful. This pokemon has won me many games that seemed to be lost,it's simply superb. It forces a lot of switches, opens holes on the opponent's team, can kill Tyranitar and render useless every choiced user with Disable. It also acts as spinner and that's cool despite the fact that I rarely need him to act as one.Gengar is a very good glue pokemon and I don't consider many changes on him as I like the way he works for the team.
Latias (F) @ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Recover
- Dragon Pulse
- Psyshock
Apart from being cute,Latias is a really good pokemon in this meta.I'd say Latias is the best anti-weather pokemon at the moment as it can deal with both Sun and Rain equally good. She is used to beat sun along with Mamo and beat Rain along with Rotom. She is also my only true counter to Keldeo and can be helpful to beat Dragons.Latias can also pull of a sweep late game with Calm Mind.Latias can also revenge Terrakion locked on Close Combat and beat the always annoying Breloom. As you have already noticed,Latias has a key role : beating weather. She does this perfectly so I don't consider changing her with another pokemon at all. What leaves me unsatisfied with this Latias is her luck of power (unable to 2HKO SpDef Jirachi even at +6 ..) and her offensive coverage(she's easily walled by any steel).
Notable Threats
(Red are big threats,Orange are medium threats and Blue are not so important threats)
Volcarona : The team's biggest threat.Unless I set stealth rock I'll always lose to this pokemon against a smart player. As you can see Volcarona can 6-0 me after just one Quiver Dance. Thanks god I have stealth rock and Gengar.
Specs Latios : I can beat Specs Latios but I'll have to sacrifice some pokemon or hope to win the speed tie.A huge pain to face.
Keldeo : Choiced Keldeo aren't such a problem because they're easier to wall.However,e-belt keldeo can be really annoying. Thanks to Latias and Rotom,it rarely becomes really dangerous.
Gengar: Gengar can't beat me but it can be very annoying.I can always hope that Latias and Gengar will outspeed and OHKO but using Jirachi and Rotom is much more safer.Mamoswine can also beat it if it's damaged.
Scizor : Scizor is quite troublesome, especially the Swords Dance sets.Rotom-W and Landorus-T are the main way to beating it while Jirachi can annoy it.
Venusaur : I rarely lose to Venusaur since both Latias and Mamo can beat it.However,it remains an important threat and can be very dangerous if my Latias is weakened before it comes in.
Ferrothorn : Ferrothorn will be beaten but will be annoying to face, especially in rain.Rotom-W can Will-O-Wisp and cripple it and then beat it with Landorus-T/Gengar.

Team Preview
The team is built around a Landorus-T/Rotom-W/Jirachi core, one of the most solid cores in the metagame which also offers volt-turn momentum. The other team members are supposed to cover the core's weaknesses. The team has almost no problem with hazards and is weatherless, two things that I really love having in my teams. As every team,it has weaknesses that will be analyzed later and I hope that you'll help me deal with. The only thing that I won't consider using in this team is weather,so please avoid making such suggestions.
Team In Depth
Mamoswine @ Life Orb
Trait: Thick Fat
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
Jolly Nature
- Ice Shard
- Icicle Crash
- Earthquake
- Superpower
Mamoswine works as wallbreaker on this team and sometimes as a late-game sweeper.Mamo offers powerful priority in Ice Shard which helps me revenge many powerful threats such as Venusaur,Thundurus-T,Breloom (after stealth rock damage) and of course,Dragons.Opening holes in the opponent's team is the reason he's used and the thing it best does.He is also capable of cleaning weakened offensive teams with its powerful STABs and priority but that's more of an added bonus of his use.He has a unique typing which makes it immune to hail and sandstorm damage.Thick Fat is a helpful ability as it makes fire attacks neutral and ice attacks resisted.I chose Jolly over Adamant because I wanted to outspeed Jolly Breloom,Offensive Heatran, every non scarfed Adamant Landorus-T and most importantly tie withJolly Dragonite without a speed boost. The only thing I dislike on Mamoswine is his stealth rock weakness that along with Life Orb shorten his lifespan quite a lot.
