Maxim Doduodrio Snarguffle have 48h to unveil!

The lights go dark. Then, two spotlights are turned on, illuminating Leila the Absol standing in the center of the stage.


In front of Leila are ten silver coins arranged in a semicircle. A camera zooms in on them, projecting it for the audience to see. All of the coins are flat on the stage, heads side up.

Then, Leila smacks the stage with one paw, causing the coins to jump and flip. When they settle, the camera focuses on them.

The Results...

Every single coin lands on tails.

(The time shows 10:29 AM. 102 + 9 = 111. This resembles III, the generation that Absol is from. This is not a coincidence because nothing is ever a coincidence.)

Absol's Pokédex number is 359. Absol is from Generation 3, and Absol has 59 moves at Level 1. This is not a coincidence because nothing is ever a coincidence.

Absol's horn is in the shape of a crescent, just like a crescent moon. The moon's many phases as well as its relation to the ebb and flow of tides links it with change. Absol is a harbinger of disasters, catastrophic events that bring about immense change. Furthermore, the ebb and flow of tides and cyclical nature of the moon represent the constantly changing nature of luck.

Such is the nature of Absol, the disaster Pokémon.

 

[Snarguffle]

Once again, the lights go out. On the outskirts of the contest hall, an azure flame flickers into existence. Then another, and another, one by one streaking over the heads of the audience towards the stage. The flames swirl around Ichigo, lighting up his form as he stretches upward, soaring as high as his earthly tether will allow him. Then, at last, the flames converge above him, creating a spectacular burst of brilliant blue that lights up the whole stage. Satisfied, the Cursola drifts back down to earth, taking a bow as the last dying embers of the flames fall and flicker out.

 

[Maxim]

Meradi does a sick backflip in the air, it's pretty sweet.

[Maxim]

Meradi whips up air currents around the stage, then summons a torrent of water that crests in a wave headed towards the stage. Just before the wave hits, Meradi uses the air currents to summon a mighty twister that absorbs the water and creates a vortex. Meradi then blows it apart in such a way that the audience feels a pleasing water vapor.

[Doduodrio]

Many shadow copies of Leila step out onstage, and they all fire a giant glob of ectoplasm at a target. The target is utterly obliterated.

Double Team - Shadow Ball​

 

[Snarguffle]

Will-O-Wisp | Ice Beam
Ichigo shoots another wisp of blue flame, then fires an Ice Beam through it, scattering mist everywhere. The flames light up the mist in an aurora-like pattern.​

Ichigo creates a ring of light on the ground around itself. Then, a twisting whirlpool of water swirls around him, travelling upwards until it spills over another ring of light in the sky.​

Leila huffs. With a claw shrouded in darkness, she slashes the air and strikes an awesome pose. The crowd cheers.
