Cool connection between D/P and RBY

I apologize if I am not the first to say this but...

I've always wondered why the professor was named Rowan in D/P...didn't seem to fit with the rest of the professor names. Well, I'm taking an English class in college on William Faulkner, and as I read through the ridiculously long biography I got assigned, I noticed that the name of his estate is called Rowan Oak. Am I the only one who doesn't think this is a coincidence?

caeledit: Undeleted because it was interesting lol
