I started with CorviPert core since both have typing that cover each other weakness perfectly :
Swampert @ Leftovers
Ability: Damp
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Flip Turn
- Earthquake
- Toxic
He is my rocker. Water/Ground is such amazing type combination since it only have 1 weakness in grass, so I choose him over other rocker. Flip turn is pivot moves for switch out and deal STAB damage at the same time. Earthquake is main STAB moves. Toxic is for stalling setup sweeper. I choose damp ability over torrent to prevent explosion user.
Corviknight @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 168 Def / 88 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Defog
- Roost
- Brave Bird
- U-turn
This bird is my defogger. Steel/Flying is also excellent typing. Roost is for healing, Brave Bird for dealing damage, and U-Turn for Pivot. Rocky Helmet item used to chip enemy on contact. With high defense and roost, It can stay healthy as physical wall.
Since this is a balance team, I need 1 other wall before choosing offensive roles. Swampert have weakness to Freeze-Dry beside grass moves, so I need more special wall.
Blissey (F) @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
- Seismic Toss
- Soft-Boiled
- Toxic
- Teleport
This pink blob have giant HP and big SpD, so she only need 4EV on SpD, full investment on Def with Bold nature. Seismic Toss for dealing damage, soft-boiled for healing, toxic for stalling, and teleport for pivoting. Heavy-Duty Boots is the item that make her better than her little sister Chansey in this generation who can only viable by using eviolite.
And the we’re moving to offensive roles :
Rillaboom @ Choice Band
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Grassy Glide
- Wood Hammer
- Knock Off
- U-turn
The Gorilla have very useful ability that boost 1,3x grass moves and make Grassy Glide +1 priority. Knock Off to hit grass-resist mon white also removing their item. Wood Hammer for nuking enemies with choice band + grassy terrain. U-Turn also for pivoting. He has 3 role compression as priority user, wallbreaker, and offensive pivot.
Dragapult @ Choice Specs
Ability: Infiltrator
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- U-turn
Dragapult is very speedy mon with many set that’s very hard to predict. I choose specs set because it’s the only special attacker so it can hit as hard as possible. Draco Meteor and shadow ball is its main STAB. Flamethrower is coverage to hit stell types, choosing over fire blast for its accuracy. And u-turn for pivoting so I have 5 mons with pivot moves.
And my last attacker is :
Conkeldurr @ Flame Orb
Ability: Guts
EVs: 128 HP / 252 Atk / 128 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Mach Punch
- Drain Punch
- Knock Off
- Facade
Conkeldurr is my last choice of mon that no need choice items to nuking enemies. With guts + flame orb, it can get free 1,5x attack boost. Drain punch is his main STAB that can also heal ½ portion of damage. Mach punch is priority moves, Knock off for hitting ghost & physics types. And façade to hit other mon very hard with 140BP because of burned status. I split EV spread in half in HP and Spe to have both bulk and speed. With 128 Spe EV It can outspeed uninvested base 60 Speed, most notably Clefable that suffer major damage for façade.
