Teambuilder Cosmetic forms are reverting and the moveset is being cleared

What is the bug?
Hi, I'd like to report a bug involving Gastrodon and Gastrodon-East in the teambuilder (hopefully doing this right). It seems that nearly every time I'm in the builder and change my Gastrodon to Gastrodon-East, as every smart user should do, and fill in the set, if I am to interact with Gastrodon again and then interact with its item, it resets to Gastrodon-West and deletes the set and EVs.

Are you able to replicate it? If so, how?
Very easily

1) Pick Gastrodon-East in the builder (I'm consistently doing it in the SS NU builder if that makes a practical difference)
1a) Fill the set for dramatic effect, to really show it resetting
2) Click on the name of the Pokemon "Gastrodon-East" under the awesome blue sprite
3) Click on the item slot and watch Gastrodon turn pink and your set disappear

I was able to replicate this in every gen except for SV, following the instructions provided in the OP.

for some reason I didn't get a notification here or just missed it, let me know if it's still needed. Sounds like my good friend hammer here was able to do it though

Yeah, it works in earlier gens
