Couldn't Think Of A Name

Note: This is an old team i never got to be posting here. Panamaxis helped me build it. After i got inspired by seeing his offensive team.

Intro: Ok well after getting bored of playing stall i decide to try and make a offensive team. I want it to have a well balance offense.

Some Facts of it!

1) Only 1 poke on my team is effected by Tspikes
2) SR only does some real damage to 2 pokes on my team.
3) 3 pokes are immune to spikes

Has you see with that said, Switching is no problem for my team. Basically laughs at stall teams. Well lets get this done with.

Up Front

metagross.png

Metagross @ Lum berry
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/6 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Stealth Rock
- Meteor Mash
- Bullet Punch
- Explosion
---

- Stealth Rock: A basically a must on every team current on the metagame. SR helps me get my KO'S which is needed on offensive teams.

- Meteor Mash: My main Stab Move on Metagross, Also goes with the combo to KO leads like Aero,Azelf, list goes on basically any FS lead. Also chance for attack raise

- Bullet Punch: Second part in the MM+BP combo to take FS Leads out making it a perfect 6-5 early match.

- Explosion: Basically go boom on anything that is a threat. I also always use explosion on swampert's. As i don't want SR Up against my team.

Description: Overall Metagross makes a amazing lead. Getting a SR in 100% of the time. Also taking at least 2 or 1 poke out for me. The MM+BP combo always works for me to take sash leads out early going in the matches. With 252 HP evs it makes it amazingly bulky and makes sure nothing can OHKO it. Only leads i fear is Heatran Or Ape but i always go to Gyara to cut attack and it resist there attack.

Team Work: This just goes well with the team. It suicides it self to take other a threat to a other poke on my team that it can not handle. Also this packs a lot resistances. And mainly this my main switch in to takes that will try and take My flygon or Sally out.

Gyarados.png

Gyarados (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 72 HP/252 Atk/184 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Bounce/Earthquake/Taunt
- Stone Edge
---

- Dragon Dance: With few of these i can basically get a easy sweep in. If not really puts a dent into my opponents team with few of these in. Even just one Dragon Dance can be hazardous!

- Waterfall: STAB this is the main move that i use to sweep also with a chance to flinch the oppenent.

- Bounce: YES bounce over Earthquake i had EQ but Panamaxis Told me go with bounce. I also had it in mind as celebi's will always come in trying to Stop my sweep. This is also other STAB. Also using this i get regain 12% of my health with Lefties if i haven't sent T-tar out yet. ( Calculations thanks to Panamaxis )
Bold 252 HP / 220 Def Celebi: 81.68-96.53% ( With Sand Storm and SR and will KO )
Timid 136 HP / 156 Def Starmie: 72.54-85.76%

- Stone Edge: This takes care of threats like Zapdos,Salamence,Gyarado's,few others i can't think of right now.

Description: This really holds the team together on Heatrans And Such. This is also a dangerous sweeper once i get my Dragon Dance's In. Oh Also Bounce got's a parahax chance 30%. Which really cripples the other poke. Gyara packs few handy resistances also with it's amazing ability. I am not a fan of Life Orb on gyara's Especially with Sandstorm from t-tar and Bounce. So lefties fits really well.

Team Work: This counters Metagross Weakness ( Fire and Ground ). This also takes care of a big threat to my team MAMOSWINE even if it carry's SE won't KO thanks to its ability and i KO back with fall. Also the Salamence+Gyara switching combo to cut the other pokes Attack works amazing. This overall also covers Magezone's weakness. So it really covers few pokes on the team.

magnezone.png

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
EVs: 172 HP/84 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Substitute
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Magnet Rise
---

- Substitute: Ok this really works well when i'm trapping CB scizors, Bronzongs , Scarfrachi's all trapped in on iron head , Bullet Punch etc. Also goes great with Magnet Rise. Also makes sure I’m safe for w.e they bring out after i kill there steel type with Tbolt.

- Thunderbolt: STAB move not much to say. Got's Para hax chance as well.

- Hidden Power [Grass]: Yes Hp grass. This is mainly to take out Swamperts which i usually see alot switch in to my zone. This can also 3ko Gliscor with magnet rise on.

- Magnet Rise: Takes other weakness away basically makes me immune to ground attacks. Come in handy a lot.

Description: This has saved me a couple times. This is really well on taking gyarados out. ( Don't worry about EQ ) They think 2 dd waterfall can KO only when it does around 70% when i return with a Tbolt. This is my main steel killer. ( Also remember there is a steel type on basically EVERY team.

Team Work: Salazone combo resist every Type in the game just with them too.
Also helps my Flygon Sweep taking it's counters away. So not much to say blah.

tyranitar.png

Tyranitar (M) @ Choice Band
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 176 HP/252 Atk/80 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Crunch
- Aqua Tail
- Stone Edge
- Pursuit
---

- Crunch: Ole Sweet Crunch. STAB move. Also helps 2KO things like Blissey and cress. This really hurts anything switch's in to it. Also gots a deadly Def drop chance.

- Superpower: Very dangerous move. Good for tricking those blisseys that try wish stall my pursuit by not switching. So they stay in predicting a pursuit instead hit with a superpower for the KO.

- Stone Edge: A other deadly STAB. This helps Kill those zapdos's. And 2HKO Skarmory's that like to switch in and setup. But that is only if my zone is dead.

- Pursuit: Traps the new rotom forms, Azelf, Gengar, And even does around 80% to bliss's switching out of it. Then to be KO by SR. got to love it eh?

Description: Really hit's hard. Basically other trapper in my team this is really offensive. Also Sandstorm breaks sashes if don't get SR up. Ev's also allow me to Outspeed Skarmory's that don't invest in speed ev's. I was also thinking of going with EQ instead of aqua tail since I get a lot of Steel switch ins. On this bad boy.

Team Work: Lol This can basically absorb Special Attacks. This Traps Threats to my team. Help's breaks sashes making my team have easier chance of setting up. Also Dent's a lot of the opposing Pokémon so my Main Sweepers have a easier time at sweeping.

flygon.png

Flygon (M) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Naughty nature (+Atk, -SDef)
- Earthquake
- Outrage
- U-turn
- Stone Edge
---

- Earthquake: STAB Earthquake OUCH. This really gives me good coverage also KO'ing those ScarfTrans that think they are faster.

- Outrage: STAB Outrage now you asking for trouble. This really helps me revenge kill Kingdras, Salamence, Other Flygons all thinking I'm CB'ed.

- U-Turn: Scouts my opponents teams and Moves.

- Stone Edge: To stop a 1 dd gyarados from sweeping.

Description:You be amazed how much times this thing sweeps a team. or saved me a lot. Scarf makes it amazing. Revenge killing basically anything. This is basically my main switch in after i suicide my Metagross. If it's something i can't handle it flygon, I just simply U-Turn out.

Team Work: Covers my gyarados weaknesses. Revenge kill's any dented Pokémon.
Also Helps stop other big threat to my team mixape if my gyarados is gone. I love this thing.

salamence.png

Salamence (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 16 Atk/252 Spd/240 SAtk
Naive nature (+Spd, -SDef)
- Draco Meteor
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast
- Outrage
---

- Draco Meteor: This is basically one of the most dangerous move in the game, matching a Specs Heatran's Fire Blast. This my main STAB move. Really hurts basically anything that switches in to it.

- Earthquake: This goes well with killing blissey's, EQ+Outrage. Also coverage on things like T-tar etc.

- Fire Blast: More coverage on things like Scizor's and few other steel types that trying resisting my dragon attacks.

- Outrage: Other STAB move. I use this when i get my Draco Boost down. And i have no safe switch in so i make least of damage.

Description:My main Mix Sweeper and hell does it do a good job. This will usually get me 2 pokes gone heck maybe 3 or a FULL sweep. My main Wall Breaker of the team. 252 Evs in speed allow me out speed Lucario that carry Ice Punch. Also helps speed tie with any base 100 invested with 252 evs in speed.

Team Work: Picks up the missing pieces my team leaves for it. And completes the sweep. Always takes out a threat so my team can have better chance at sweeping.

Ok well there is my lovely offensive team that got 2 accounts on smogon server to 1500 in 1 DAY!

Also Thanks panamaxis for helping me build this deadly team.

I don't want to do a full rate, but you should try Lum Berry over Leftovers on Metagross. Leftovers are not all that useful considering that you will often Explode. Lum Berry allows you to beat reliably both smeargle and roserade and any other sleep leads.

Your team is somewhat lacking in a way to deal with Offensive Gyarados (bar repeated intimidate switching.) Therefore I would suggest changing Fire Blast to Stone Edge on Flygon, as this will allow you to revenge-kill pretty much all Gyarados.

I think there is relatively little point in running 80 Speed on Tyranitar. To outrun most Skarmory and 2HKO with Stone Edge you need significantly more investment. Otherwise, you could just take all of the speed off and delegate the EVs between HP and Special defense as you wish.

Lastly I would suggest Taunt on your Gyarados. This allows it to set up on and beat Swampert, Skarmory and numerous other walls. The choice for the last slot is between SE and Bounce. Both of these moves offer impeccable coverage (only Empoleon resists both Bounce and waterfall. Breloom and Empoleon both resist SE+ Waterfall) Bounce has the advantage of being more powerful and slightly more accurate. It also has a nice Paralysis chance associated with it, and allows you to beat Celebi and Breloom. The notable disadvantage is that it is a two turn move, although this can buy an extra turn of leftovers recovery/SS damage for the opponent. Stone Edge is an option due to the fact that it is super-effective against Salamence, Zapdos and other Gyarados

Good luck

Thanks for rate. I didn't notice i had leftovers there. I was sure it was lum berry in that spot. And i did change of SE Over Fire Blast

You could have a bit of a problem with Gyarados. Therefore, I suggest switching fire blast on flygon for thunderpunch, allowing you to revenge kill. You could use stone edge, but the accuracy puts me off. Overall very nice team

I think i would keep stone edge. As i believe thunder punch would be a 2HKO depending on the gyarados. But yes stone edge accuracy could be risky. And thanks.

Hello,

Quite solid team, I didn't find any major weaknesses. Nonetheless I would change a few small things.
First, yes use Lum Berry on Metagross. Then the set is fine
Second, on Gyarados I wouldn't use Bounce. It's only worth using if Gyara only has two attacks because then Bounce provides decent neutral coverage along with Waterfall. I would use Earthquake or Ice Fang. While EQ is the superior option Ice Fang can ohko offensive Latias after 1 DD and Stealth Rock.
Magnezone is a very good team player for your two dragons. The moveset is perfect, I would only run more Speed. A Timid nature with 216 EVs in speed will ensure that you always outrun neutral natured max speed Scizor, which is quite important. Also you can't ohko it due to the lack of HP Fire so outrunning it will be necessary.
On Flygon definitely use Stone Edge or Thunderpunch. While I'm personally a fan of Thunderpunch on Flygon (I somewhat hate SE, guess why...), Stone Edge is also viable. But you should remember that a miss against +1 Gyara can cost you the game...
Your Tyranitar set is okay, I would only reconsider using Aqua Tail. Hippowdon is rarely seen nowadays, so your only target will be Gliscor. Having only one target in the metagame makes a move rather worthless in my opinion (besides HP fire for Scizor). Earthquake provides good coverage but you already have 2-3 EQs. Superpower is an option, but is mostly used on ScarfTars only. Speaking of Scarftar... If you are willing to give up some Bulk and attacking power I think Scarftar would fit in your team quite nicely. It is a better Trick absorber and Pursuiter. The choice is yours.
Salamence is fine. The only problem I see is that it won't live long with stealth Rock, Life Orb, no wish support and Sand Storm. Therefore you could try the Classic Mix Mence, which makes good use of Roost.
Salamence@Life Orb
Rash-252SpAtk, 80HP, 176Spe / 252SpAtk, 4HP, 252Spe
-Draco Meteor
-Brick Break
-Fire Blast
-Roost

Hope I could help. Good Luck !
