========
- Grimmsnarl's main role is to set up Light Screen and Reflect to increase the bulk of its partners. Grimmsnarl can also be an annoying disruptor with Thunder Wave and sometimes Parting Shot. Setting up dual screens is very effective against hyper offensive teams using Koraidon and Calyrex-S, as these teams are normally quite frail, and surviving one extra attack can often be the difference maker in those matchups.
- Thunder Wave is a good option for disruption and speed control, allowing partners like Miraidon and Urshifu-R to outspeed Calyrex-S and Koraidon, while Parting Shot is good for further weakening foes and giving Grimmsnarl a strong pivoting option, which helps partners like Ho-Oh and Ursaluna activate their abilities of Regenerator and Guts, respectively, with less risk. Spirit Break OHKOes Koraidon before it Terastallizes, as well as being able to threaten both Urshifu formes, and it reduces the Special Attack of Pokemon such as Calyrex-S and Lunala. Foul Play allows Grimmsnarl to do significant damage to Calyrex-I, Calyrex-S, and Lunala.
- Light Clay allows Reflect and Light Screen to last longer, allowing for prolonged damage mitigation even after Grimmsnarl has fainted.
- The Special Defense investment allows Grimmsnarl to live a Moonblast from Timid Flutter Mane when Light Screen isn't up, and Grimmsnarl can also live a Choice Specs Miraidon Electro Drift when Light Screen is up. The Defense EVs let it survive Ursaluna's Guts-boosted Facade when behind Reflect.
- Tera Ghost helps Grimmsnarl avoid Fake Out from Iron Hands, Rillaboom, and Incineroar, which can be crucial to allow Grimmsnarl to get dual screens up or use an extra Thunder Wave. It also gives it an immunity to Zamazenta-C's Body Press and removes the Heavy Slam and Behemoth Bash weaknesses.

Teambuilding
=========
- Urshifu-R ignores all of Grimmsnarl's damage mitigation with Surging Strikes, and some Choice Band variants can also OHKO Grimmsnarl with Surging Strikes. Taunt from Incineroar and Flutter Mane can effectively shut down Grimmsnarl's supportive ability, leaving it stuck using either Spirit Break or Foul Play. Galarian Weezing's Neutralizing Gas prevents Grimmsnarl from getting its dual screens off immediately, allowing Koraidon, which is usually paired with Galarian Weezing, to easily OHKO it with Tera Fire Flare Blitz.
- Dark-, Electric-, and Ground-types like opposing Grimmsnarl, Incineroar, Miraidon, and Landorus are immune to Prankster Thunder Wave, reducing Grimmsnarl's effectiveness on the field. Fake Out from Rillaboom, Iron Hands, and Incineroar is also detrimental to Grimmsnarl, as it stops Grimmsnarl from supporting its team. Spore from Amoonguss and Brute Bonnet can make it difficult for Grimmsnarl to get both screens up in a game.
- Grimmsnarl's dual screens are able to support most teams, but Miraidon, Ho-Oh, Lunala, and Calyrex-I especially enjoy Grimmsnarl's support because they typically favor bulkier playstyles. Miraidon is able to quickly remove Urshifu-R while also protecting Grimmsnarl from Spore with Electric Terrain, and Ho-Oh is a great check for Koraidon, as it resists all of its moves and threatens an OHKO with Brave Bird. Incineroar and Iron Hands provide support with Fake Out, which makes it easier to get both screens up, and Urshifu-R can threaten Taunt Incineroar and other Dark- and Ground-types, which are immune to Thunder Wave, with Close Combat and Surging Strikes.

Set Details
========
- Grimmsnarl's main role in Regulation I is to set up Light Screen and Reflect to increase the bulk and longevity of its partners. This allows its partners to lean more into their bulk rather than going full offensive and risking speed ties (Saying that Grimmsnarl is what allows partners to invest in their bulk more is not entirely true, Grimnsnarl is usually paired with inherently bulky restricted pokemons and Miraidon who does not primarily run Max speed, so you can remove this bit and just said something along the lines of 'make bulky pokemon more bulky'). Grimmsnarl can also be an annoying disruptor with Thunder Wave and sometimes Parting Shot.
- Thunder Wave is a good option for disruption and speed control, while Parting Shot is good for further weakening opponents and giving a strong pivoting option, which helps partners like Ho-Oh (Including Ho-Oh is weird, alongside putting it in the same sentence with Ursaluna, it makes unfamiliar readers think their abilities act in the same way, though it does not. Likely just weird wording as Ho-Oh needs to switch OUT while Ursaluna needs to switch IN to activate activate their ability, so just make a clearer separation between the two) and Ursaluna activate their abilities with less risk. Spirit Break is a good Fairy-type STAB which is able to OHKO Koraidon before Tera, as well as being able to threaten both Urshifu formes and reduces opposing Pokéemon's SpA Special Attack such as Calyrex-S and Lunala. Foul Play allows Grimmsnarl to do significant damage to Calyrex-I, which is a threat to Miraidon and Ursaluna (You haven't mentioned Grimmsnarl's partners yet so it would be weird to sudden include this). (Lunala and CSR is worth mentioning briefly on foul play)
- Light Clay allows Reflect and Light Screen to last 8 turns each, allowing for prolonged damage mitigation even after Grimmsnarl is knocked out which means that in many battles your screens will never expire, as VGC matches don't typically surpass 8 turns.
- The Careful Nature as well as EVs in HP and SpD given EV spread allows Grimmsnarl to live a Moonblast from Timid Flutter Mane without Light Screen, and the Def investment lets Grimmsnarl survive Tera Fire Sun-boosted Flare Blitz from non Life OrbKoraidon while behind Reflect (Life Orb is the norm in Koraidon sets so it's pretty hard to not acknowlege Life Orb, Your spread can live a Miraidon E-drift after screens, could add that if you want) . These calls are important as they force opposing sun teams to either double into Grimmsnarl or let it get both Reflect and Light Screen up for its team (This situation is not sun exclusive, it's a situation for any teams that can threaten Grimmsnarl with a double). The remaining EVs were placed on Atk and Spe 4 Atk and Spe are just a dump of the remaining stats to deal slightly more chip with Spirit Break and sometimes speed creep slower Grimmsnarl on the opponent's side.
- Tera Ghost helps Grimmsnarl avoid Fake Out from Iron Hands, Rillaboom, and Incineroar, as well as Zamazenta-C's Body Press (This is correct, but usually regardless of anything, why would Zama cick body press when it would rather click heavy slam on Grimmsnarl?).

Teambuilding
=========
- Urshifu-R ignores all of Grimmsnarl's damage mitigation with Surging Strikes critical hits, and some Choice Band variants can also OHKO Grimmsnarl with Surging Strikes. Taunt from Incineroar, Landorus-I, and the Ogerpon formed (Only like 6 taunts appeared in Landorus-I and 3 for the Ogerpons in Utrecht which doesn't justify enough relevance to be considered) can effectively shut down Grimmsnarl's supportive ability, leaving it stuck clicking either Spirit Break or Foul Play. Weezing-G Koraidon team are can be able to counter Grimmsnarl very effectively because Neutralizing Gas prevents Grimmsnarl from getting its screens off immediately first, and therefore allowing Koraidon who is usually paired with Weezing-G to easily OHKO it with Flare Blitz. Dark, Electric, and Ground types are immune to Prankster Thunder Wave, which heavily reduces Grimmsnarl's effectiveness on the field can leave Grimmsnarl as a bit of a dead slot with no good moves left to click. (Fake out users are also pretty detrimental to Grimmsnarl)
- Grimmsnarl's screens are able to support most teams, but Miraidon, Ho-Oh, Lunala, and Calyrex-I especially enjoy Grimmsnarl's support because they typically favour bulkier playstyles in Reg I. Miraidon is able to quickly remove Urshifu-R, and Ho-Oh is a great check for Koraidon.
(You could also add non-restricted partners like Iron Hands who provide fake out support toset up dual screens and can threaten Taunt Incineroar as well as the dark types Grimmsnarl cannot touch with prankster, as well as Urshifu-R who can threaten the dark, ground and Incineroars)

- Grimmsnarl's main role in Regulation I (You don't need to mention the format at all) is to set up Light Screen and Reflect to increase the bulk and longevity of its partners. This allows its bulky partners to become even bulkier. (Fluff) Grimmsnarl can also be an annoying disruptor with Thunder Wave and sometimes Parting Shot. (Maybe include some compositions that get thrown off by its tools such as Calyrex-S balance, up to you though)
- Thunder Wave is a good option for disruption and speed control, while Parting Shot is good for further weakening opponents and giving a strong pivoting option, which helps partners like Ho-Oh and Ursaluna activate their abilities with less risk. Ho-Oh wants to switch out for Regnerator healing, and Parting Shot lets you switch Ho-Oh out and then pivot right back into it. Pivoting with Parting Shot can also let Ursaluna come in more safely and activate its Flame Orb without needing to Protect for one turn. (I get that you're elaborating on it, but try to condense it a bit, especially such that it doesn't take much more attention than Thunder Wave)
- Light Clay allows Reflect and Light Screen to last 8 turns each(Dex info) longer, allowing for prolonged damage mitigation even after Grimmsnarl has fainted.
- The given EV spread allows Special Defense investment allows Grimmsnarl to live a Moonblast from Timid Flutter Mane without Light Screen, and it can also live a Miraidon Electro Drift with Light Screen. The points in Defense EVs let it survive Ursaluna's Facade with Reflect. The remaining EVs were placed on Atk and Spe to deal slightly more chip with Spirit Break and sometimes speed creep slower Grimmsnarl on the opponent's side. (the 4 leftover EVs aren't important to mention, and speed creep shouldn't be mentioned in analyses)
- Tera Ghost helps Grimmsnarl avoid Fake Out from Iron Hands, Rillaboom, and Incineroar, and it also gives it an immunity to Zamazenta-C's Body Press and removes the Heavy Slam and Behemoth Bash weaknesses. (Perhaps state why avoiding Fake Out can be crucial sometimes)

- Urshifu-R ignores all of Grimmsnarl's damage mitigation with Surging Strikes critical hits, and some Choice Band variants can also OHKO Grimmsnarl with Surging Strikes. Taunt from Incineroar (Taunt isn't super common, but you can leave it if there are no better examples), can effectively shut down Grimmsnarl's supportive ability, leaving it stuck clicking either Spirit Break or Foul Play. Weezing-G can counter (not necessarily counter, more like hindering its effectiveness) Grimmsnarl very effectively because Neutralizing Gas prevents Grimmsnarl from getting its screens off immediately, allowing Koraidon who is usually paired with Weezing-G, to easily OHKO it with Tera Fire Flare Blitz. Dark-, Electric-, and Ground-types are immune to Prankster Thunder Wave, which heavily reduces Grimmsnarl's effectiveness on the field. Fake out is also detrimental to Grimmsnarl, as it doesn't carry Protect. (maybe give some of the most relevant examples of Dark, Ground, or Electric mons and Fake Out users)
- Grimmsnarl's screens are able to support most teams, but Miraidon, Ho-Oh, Lunala, and Calyrex-I especially enjoy Grimmsnarl's support because they typically favour bulkier playstyles in Reg I. Ho-Oh wants to switch out for Regenerator healing, and Ursaluna wants to switch in to activate Flame Orb, so Parting Shot makes it easier for them to position. Include a comparison of Spirit Break and Foul Play
- Light Clay allows Reflect and Light Screen to last longer, allowing for prolonged damage mitigation even after Grimmsnarl has fainted.
- The Special Defense investment allows Grimmsnarl to live a Moonblast from Timid Flutter Mane without Light Screen, and it can also live a Miraidon Electro Drift with Light Screen. The Defense EVs let it survive Ursaluna's Facade boosted by burn behind Reflect.
- Tera Ghost helps Grimmsnarl avoid Fake Out from Iron Hands, Rillaboom, and Incineroar, which can be crucial to allow Grimmsnarl to get both screens up or use an extra Thunder Wave. It also gives it an immunity to Zamazenta-C's Body Press and removes the Heavy Slam and Behemoth Bash weaknesses.

Teambuilding
=========
- Urshifu-R ignores all of Grimmsnarl's damage mitigation with Surging Strikes critical hits, and some Choice Band variants can also OHKO Grimmsnarl with Surging Strikes. Taunt from Incineroar and Flutter Mane can effectively shut down Grimmsnarl's supportive ability, leaving it stuck clicking either Spirit Break or Foul Play. Galarian Weezing's Neutralizing Gas prevents Grimmsnarl from getting its dual screens off immediately, allowing Koraidon who is usually paired with Galarian Weezing, to easily OHKO it with Tera Fire Flare Blitz.
- Dark-, Electric-, and Ground-types like opposing Grimmsnarl, Incineroar, Miraidon, and Landorus-I are immune to Prankster Thunder Wave, reducing Grimmsnarl's effectiveness on the field. Fake Out from Rillaboom, Iron Hands, and Incineroar is also detrimental to Grimmsnarl, as it doesn't carry Protect. Spore from Amoonguss and Brute Bonnet can make it difficult for Grimmsnarl to get more than one screen up in a game. \
- Grimmsnarl's dual screens are able to support most teams, but Miraidon, Ho-Oh, Lunala, and Calyrex-I especially enjoy Grimmsnarl's support because they typically favour bulkier playstyles. Miraidon is able to quickly remove Urshifu-R, while also protecting Grimmsnarl from Amoonguss's Spore with Electric Terrain, and Ho-Oh is a great check for Koraidon as it resists all of its moves and threatens and OHKO with Brave Bird. Incineroar and Iron Hands provide support with Fake Out, which makes it easier to get both screens up, and both Iron Hands and Urshifu-R can threaten Taunt Incineroar and the Dark- and Ground-types that are immune to Thunder Wave with Surging Strikes and Close Combat. Rearrange this to match the order you mentioned Dark and Ground and make it clear who is using what, kind of sounds like they both can use these attacks

Set Details
========
Spirit Break OHKO OHKOes Koraidon before it Terastallizes, as well as being able to threaten both Urshifu formes, and it reduces the Special Attack of Pokemon such as Calyrex-S and Lunala.

=========
Incineroar and Iron Hands provide support with Fake Out, which makes it easier to get both screens up, and Urshifu-R can threaten Taunt Incineroar and the other Dark- and Ground-types, that which are immune to Thunder Wave, (AC) with Close Combat and Surging Strikes.

Hey R0gue_VGC, sorry for the ping but regarding the Speed EVs, do they specifically do anything? If it's there to just speed creep uninvested base 60s, the Speed EVs need to be moved to a different stat due to standards on analysis EV spreads.

With how EV spreads work in VGC, those 4 points cant go into any other stat (they won't increase the stat) so they are put in speed

But you could also just take the 4 in Speed and 4 in Attack and put them somewhere else. 4 EVs in Speed just for the sake of having them in Speed (or having them speed creep 0 Speed EV Pokemon with the same base Speed) is not a good enough justification for C&C, as we feel that Speed creep is a builder's decision that should not be influenced by our sets; see here for more details.

Moving the Attack and Speed points to bulk doesn't actually change any defensive calcs, so the Speed and Attack is just generally better to do a bit more chip with Spirit Break and to speed creep or tie some uninvested or 4 Speed Grimmsnarl and Weezing.
