[OVERVIEW]

* Crawdaunt's great Attack stat and access to Adaptability make it an excellent wallbreaker in the tier.
* It has good neutral STAB coverage and powerful moves such as Crabhammer and Knock Off, along with strong priority in Aqua Jet.
* Its access to Attack-boosting moves such as Swords Dance makes Crawdaunt even more threatening.
* Crawdaunt has bad Speed, making it easy to revenge kill and meaning it usually will move second if it doesn't use Aqua Jet.
* Crawdaunt's mediocre bulk and five weaknesses mean that it won't be able to take a lot of attacks, even neutral ones.

[SET]
name: Swords Dance
move 1: Swords Dance
move 2: Crabhammer
move 3: Knock Off
move 4: Aqua Jet
item: Life Orb / Waterium Z
ability: Adaptability
nature: Jolly
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
* Swords Dance doubles Crawdaunt's Attack, allowing it to dent almost anything that gets hit by it.
* Crabhammer is Crawdaunt's strongest Water-type move and significantly damages any Pokemon that doesn't resist it.
* Knock Off is Crawdaunt's best Dark-type attack, dealing massive damage while removing items like Leftovers and Eviolite, and it better deals with Grass-, Water-, and Dragon-types.
* Aqua Jet is a strong priority move boosted by Adaptability that allows Crawdaunt to revenge kill faster Pokemon.

Set Details
========
* The given EV spread optimizes Crawdaunt's offensive presence and wallbreaking capabilities.
* A Jolly nature is used to outspeed uninvested Mandibuzz and Suicune.
* Adaptability multiplies the power Crawdaunt's STAB moves by two.
* A Life Orb boosts the damage output of Crawdaunt at the cost of some HP.
* A Waterium Z can be used if none of your other Pokemon are using a Z-Move to fire off an immensely strong 180-Base Power Hydro Vortex that is able to OHKO Blissey.

Usage Tips
========
* Crawdaunt's bad bulk means that it should only be brought in safely by a slow U-turn or Volt Switch, as it cannot afford to take even resisted attacks.
* Crawdaunt is great against defensive teams, as it can wear down and KO opposing walls so the opponent's team can be cleaned up in the late-game.
* Against more offensive teams, Crawdaunt works best as a revenge killer with Aqua Jet and can start to clean up if it manages to get a Swords Dance boost.
* Only set up Swords Dance against a weak or passive Pokemon that can't significantly damage or cripple Crawdaunt, such as Slowbro, or Pokemon that Crawdaunt forces to switch out, such as Nidoking and Chandelure, as Crawdaunt's poor bulk often doesn't allow it to survive more than two attacks.

Team Options
========
* Late-game cleaners such as Mega Sharpedo, Cobalion, and Haxorus are helped by Crawdaunt's ability to break down walls that can otherwise stop them from cleaning up.
* Krookodile, Hippowdon, and Nidoking are able to check Electric-types such as Raikou and Magneton.
* Special attackers such as Gengar, Hydreigon, and Keldeo appreciate Crawdaunt's ability to get rid of specially defensive Pokemon such as Blissey.
* Latias and Crobat are great teammates because they can get rid of Keldeo and Chesnaught, which are some of the best switch-ins to Crawdaunt.
* Magneton, Forretress, and Scizor allow Crawdaunt to switch in safely by using Volt Switch and U-turn.
* Froslass, Swampert, and Klefki provide entry hazard support, which helps Crawdaunt achieve more OHKOs.
* Alolan Ninetales provides dual screens with Aurora Veil, making it easier for Crawdaunt to set up Swords Dance.
* Galvantula and Shuckle can set Sticky Web, allowing Crawdaunt to outspeed faster threats such as Krookodile, Gliscor, and Celebi.

[SET]
name: Choice Band
move 1: Crabhammer
move 2: Knock Off
move 3: Aqua Jet
move 4: Crunch / Superpower
item: Choice Band
ability: Adaptability
nature: Jolly / Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Moves
========
* Crabhammer is Crawdaunt's strongest STAB move that can 2HKO most of the tier, even Water-resistant Pokemon like Primarina and Tsareena.
* Knock Off is a strong Dark-type move that becomes more powerful when removing items and complements Crabhammer well.
* Aqua Jet is used to pick off faster threats that are slightly weakened, and it even OHKOes Chandelure, Infernape, and Nidoking.
* Crunch is more consistent than Knock Off, as it does more damage against itemless and Mega Pokemon.
* Superpower provides coverage to mainly OHKO Hydreigon and Cobalion, which don't mind Crawdaunt's STAB moves.
* Aerial Ace is an option to hit Grass- and Fighting-types that resist Crawdaunt's STAB moves, such as Keldeo and Chesnaught.

Set Details
========
* Adaptability should be the only ability considered, as it doubles the power of Crawdaunt's STAB moves.
* Choice Band and maximum Attack EVs boost Crawdaunt's Attack, maximizing Crawdaunt's wallbreaking potential.
* Maximum Speed EVs and a Jolly nature are used to outspeed faster bulky Pokemon such as Nidoqueen, Suicune, and Mandibuzz.
* An Adamant nature can be used instead to increase Crawdaunt's damage output if Speed isn't an issue.

Usage Tips
========
* Only bring in Crawdaunt by a slow U-turn or Volt Switch, as its poor bulk doesn't allow it to take many attacks.
* Be wary of using Crabhammer or Aqua Jet when the opponent has a Water-immune Pokemon such as Mantine, Volcanion, or Gastrodon, as being locked into a move they're immune to kills all momentum.
* Knock Off is usually a safer option to be locked into, as it will deal a good chunk of damage to most Pokemon and remove items such as Leftovers and Life Orb.
* Crawdaunt is best used in the early-game against defensive teams to KO or significantly weaken the opponent's Pokemon for Crawdaunt's teammates to clear up later in the game.
* Crawdaunt, however, has a harder time on more offensive teams and is mostly used as a revenge killer with Aqua Jet.

Team Options
========
* Sweepers and cleaners such as Mega Sharpedo, Haxorus, and Mega Absol appreciate Crawdaunt's ability to KO and weaken threats that can halt their sweep.
* Latias is a great teammate, as it resists Grass, Electric, and Fighting while being able to check Fighting-types.
* Poison-types such as Crobat, Amoonguss, and Gengar resist most of Crawdaunt's weaknesses such as Fighting, Fairy, Grass, and Bug, and they can help get rid of the Grass- and Fairy-types that trouble Crawdaunt. Additionally, Nidoqueen makes for a nice partner as it is immune to Electric on top of resisting Fighting, Fairy, and Bug.
* Ground-type Pokemon such as Swampert, Nidoking, and Krookodile are able to check and counter Electric-types such as Raikou and Magneton.
* Entry hazard support from Hippowdon, Froslass, and Klefki gives Crawdaunt an easier time getting KOs, such as against Clefable, Scizor, and Blissey.
* Forretress, Scizor, and Tsareena can help bring Crawdaunt in safely by a slow U-turn or Volt Switch.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
* Waterfall has better accuracy than Crabhammer, but Crawdaunt then misses out on some OHKOs and more consistent 2HKOs.
* Sludge Wave hits Grass-types, OHKOing Whimsicott and 2HKOing Chesnaught, but it isn't useful for much else.
* Dragon Dance can be used to boost both Speed and Attack, but even after one boost Crawdaunt still cannot outspeed base 108 Speed Pokemon and higher.
* Focus Sash gives Crawdaunt a free turn to use an attack or Swords Dance before being KOed, but with entry hazards being so prevalent and Crawdaunt's low Speed stat this is hard to use consistently.

Checks and Counters
===================
**Faster Pokemon**: Many faster Pokemon such as Gengar, Magneton, and Raikou can outspeed and OHKO Crawdaunt with their attacking options, but they cannot switch in on Crawdaunt or be worn down enough to get KOed by an Aqua Jet.

**Fighting-types**: Keldeo and Bewear resist Knock Off, don't mind Crabhammer, and OHKO Crawdaunt with their Fighting-type moves. Cobalion is able to switch in on a resisted Knock Off to boost its Attack via Justified, and can OHKO Crawdaunt with Close Combat. Lucario, Infernape, and Conkeldurr can quickly KO Crawdaunt with priority Vacuum Wave or Mach Punch while Toxicroak is immune to Water-type moves and resists Knock Off and OHKOes Crawdaunt with a Fighting-type move.

**Grass-types**: Grass-types such as Chesnaught and Amoonguss all resist Crabhammer and can OHKO with their respective Grass-type moves. Tsareena, Decidueye, and Celebi are able to revenge kill Crawdaunt but don't want to switch in on a Knock Off.

**Faster Water-resistant Pokemon**: The likes of Hydreigon, Keldeo, and Latias outspeed Crawdaunt and resist Aqua Jet while being able to easily OHKO Crawdaunt with their coverage attacks, but they do not want to switch in on a Swords Dance-boosted attack. Volcanion is especially troublesome, as it is immune to Aqua Jet due to Water Absorb and can OHKO Crawdaunt with its Choice Specs-boosted coverage options.

mention waterium z in set details for sd. while there are better z move users, and it appreciates having the knock off boost from lo, it's a good option if you have nothing else for a zmove slot and is a good nuke.

rotom-h is almost never ran without speed if ran at all, so get rid of that and put suicune and mantine there instead

should make a distinction between offensive and defensive teams for the sd set - it's only at its best early game vs bulkier teams, and vs offensive teams it works well as a revenge killer and can clean if it manages to get an sd up and its checks are removed or weakened, so replace the "best in early game" part and put something along those lines instead of that

mention how latias in particular is a good partner for the sd set as it checks keldeo, one of craw's best answers

mention spikers like froslass and klefki in team options for sd as well as ninetales-a since aurora veil makes it easier for craw to set up

there should definitely be a section dedicated to faster offensive water resists in c&c - latias keldeo hydreigon primarina are good examples in here as while they cant switch in reliably to a boosted craw they dont have to worry about ajet from full and can ko it

Going to go top to bottom, so Swords Dance set first and Choice Band set second.

Waterium Z should be slashed after Life Orb on the Swords Dance set. Also, a bit nitpicky, but Swords Dance should be in the first moveslot as the set is named after it, so just move the moves around a bit.

In Set Details, when explaining the nature, you probably shouldn't mention Mantine or Nidoqueen as you do not need Jolly to outspeed the slow variants of them, and a lot of Nidoqueen have been faster than even Jolly Crawdaunt lately. You threaten it with Aqua Jet anyhow.

In Usage Tips, I am not sure what "predicting well" means. That whole first bullet point doesn't really add anything on how to use Crawdaunt, so it should be removed.

In Team Options, mention Electric checks and add them.

For the Choice Band set, the last moveslot should be Crunch / Superpower. From experience, Crunch is by far the most useful fourth move as it gives Crawdaunt some consistently strong Dark-type STAB move. Superpower can be nice for weakening or removing Steel-types on the switch, as well as hitting Hydreigon. Aerial Ace is something I don't think is particularly good, but should definitely be kept as a mention. Sure, you hit Chesnaught, but that still survives rather handily and you could just run a Life Orb AoA set with Ice Beam or Sludge Wave instead if this were your aim. Whimsicott is a non-issue as it just isn't run anymore, and is not particularly good. Hitting Keldeo may sound great at first, but you don't even come close to OHKOing it and Crab Hammer also 2HKOs.

Again, remove the point about predicting opponents. Yes, you should make sure not to lock into a bad move, but Crawdaunt rarely needs to predict. It is usually very straight-forward whether it can click Knock Off, Crabhammer, Aqua Jet or whatever it has in its last moveslot.

Team Options need Electric checks added again.

Everything else is fine. QC 2/3 once you have made the changes.

Looks ok. Just remove Mew from the list of VoltTurn users at the end of the team options for the second set, it's more or less advocating it indirectly and that's not a good option on Mew tbh. Also mention examples of Pokemon that cannot touch Crawdaunt in the Usage Tips bullet point. 3/3

===================
**Faster Pokemon**: Many faster Pokemon such as Gengar, Cobalion, and Raikou can outspeed and OHKO Crawdaunt with their attacking options, but however they cannot switch in on Crawdaunt or be worn down enough to get KOed by an Aqua Jet.

Lucario, Infernape, and Conkeldurr can quickly KO Crawdaunt with Vacuum Wave or Mach Punch. Toxicroak is immune to Water-type moves and resists Knock Off while being able to OHKO with a Fighting-type move.

**Faster Water-resistant Pokemon Water-type resists** The likes of Hydreigon, Keldeo, and Latias outspeed Crawdaunt and resist Aqua Jet while being able to easily OHKO Crawdaunt with their coverage attacks, but they do not want to switch in on a Swords Dance-boosted attack. Volcanion is especially troublesome, (add comma) as it is immune to Aqua Jet due to Water Absorb and can OHKO Crawdaunt with its Choice Specs-boosted coverage options.
