Crawdaunt is a terrifying wallbreaker by virtue of its good offensive typing, Adaptability, and high-Base power moves. Useful utility in Knock Off allows Crawdaunt to support offensive teams by removing items from walls like Skarmory, Tangrowth and Milotic, making them easier for its sweeping team mates to take out in the late-game. Access to Aqua Jet allows Crawdaunt to bypass its poor Speed tier and pick off threats like Weavile, Gliscor, and Garchomp. However, Crawdaunt is otherwise miserably slow, leaving it heavily vulnerable to faster Pokemon like Breloom and Starmie. This leaves it heavily reliant on Aqua Jet to damage faster Pokemon. Additionally, Crawdaunt has poor bulk and weaknesses to common typings, limiting its opportunities to switch in and set up consistently.
