I really had an intention to use one of my favorite pokes on this team. Gardevoir was my first Fully EV'ed pokemon, yeah, thats how much I thought gardevoir rocked. But now she seems to get the short end of the stick, so I thought of a way to make it usefull.
Team at a glance
oh, nothing is what it seems. Gliscor is not a wall, and gyrados is not a sweeper. Starmie does not spin. OOH!
Dugtrio @ Focus Sash
Adamant ( more damage )
252 atk / 252 speed / 4 hp
Attacks
- Earthquake
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
- Thief
Yes A suicide dugtrio lead. Very complicated so let me start. Ttar leads mean that TTar is no longer a problem for my team. Taunt seems to be less commonly used against duggy as crobat is growing im popularity to stop the waves of suiced azelf leads. The crobat U-Turn hurts it all, or can predict the azelf and taunt when they SR. Who would taunt a dugtrio? 2HKO some leads that can't swap. Lets say their lead is hippowdon. I am obvioualy not a threat to him, so he uses SR when I use SR. I then use toxic then next move as EQ brings me down to sash. I then have the option next ture to attempt to steal their item. Since they can't swap, and dugtrio already did his job, might as well thief away.
Gardevoir @ Light Clay
Bold ( no special reason ) Trace
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spatk
Attacks
- Psychic
- Reflect
- Light Screen
- Will-O-Wisp
This is my second favorite poke. ( Uxie is cooler ) It basically is a crappy crappy crappy dual screener, but less predictable. Some predict hypnosis, so I normally get both screens up. Will O wisp + reflect = barly any damage. Helps me set up some sweepers, well I only got 2 sweepers... but anyway. Totally random. She rocks though.
Gliscor @ Yache Berry
Jolly ( Garchomp Jr. ) Hyper Cutter ( screw intimidate )
40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 spd
Attacks
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- Taunt
- Sword Dance
Garchomp Jr. With reflect and light screen up. Ice attacks really do crap 1st time. decent damage second time. So I normally kill their bulky water that way. Not anything special here. Besides the fact it tries to sweep. 308 speed is just enough to outspeed base 90 speed increasing.
Starmie @ Life Orb
Timid ( keep watching, I might do a trick)
40 hp / 252 Spatk / 216 speed
Attacks
- Surf
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam
- Recover
Just tries to sweep the opponents team. This thing sweeps after the sparks fly ( and blissey ). Fun to use and fast. Grass Knot I think has worked better than tbolt. The trick is sweeper the team with this.
Gyrados @ Leftovers
Impish ( You Can't Move )
252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
Attacks
- Waterfall
- Thunderwave
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
This thing likes to not die. Intimidate helps more than you would know when taking attacks. Twave really hurts gengar zapdos vappy suicune salamence swap ins. Flinch or para happen ocasionally. thats the fun part. They can't move while you recover from you rest. Normally I swap Gardevoir into heatran, but Gyrados is normally my second choice.
Metagross @ Lum Berry
Adamant ( DIE GENGAR DIE!!!!!)
252 HP / 252 ATk / 4 Spdef
Attacks
- Meteor Mash
- Earthquake
- Bullet Punch
- Pursuit
Hi gengar, oh, wherd' he go? Pursuit when they hypnosis. Lum berry cures. They stay in now in fear of pursuit. Bullet punch away. Gengar, try again next week. Other than that meteor mash does a decent amount of damage to pokemon, and weakening everything up is the idea for setting up a sweep. Atk Raise is nice. Really lack of type coverage here. Pursuit bullet punch traps stuff though mentally. Clear Body is a great abilty, so mence is less of a problem when he is at low HP.
Really akward sets, it should be fun to try to kill everything with this team. Obvious weaknesses are sub magnet rize magnezone. I really have to sacrifice to kill that. Other than that, most things are handable, still other things which I have yet to notice also exist.
Handable ( able to kill a pokemon without sacrifcing more than 2 pokes in order to bring it down )
Weak ( I have no good swap ins at midgame)
very good vocabulary I follow. Not what all would agree on, but not all players are the same.
