Monotype Cute and powerful fairies

I am an amateur at this but I love fairy type pokemon and since Sylveon is my most favourite, I wanted to try a team with it in it.
Any/all positive feedbacks are appreciated.

Sylveon
1.png

Sylveon (F) @ Throat Spray
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Mystical Fire
- Wish
- Protect
This team is built around Sylveon, so obviously I list it first. Hyper Voice becomes a fairy type move with increased power, thanks to Pixilate ability. Throat Spray is given so that Special Attack increases by 1 stage right after Hyper Voice is used. I didn't use Leftovers because many a times held items get knocked off and besides, Sylveon has Wish and Protect to keep going. Mystical Fire is to damage Steel Pokemon that Sylveon might be able to take a hit from, especially because the team has dual screens set up and Sylveon's own high Special Defense stat. Sylveon is my main fairy type attacker.

Hatterene
2.png

Hatterene (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Magic Bounce
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Trick Room
- Calm Mind
- Draining Kiss
- Psychic

Hatterene is the psychic fairy I have chosen. Magic Bounce is to avoid hazards and status conditions. Hatterene is the Trick Room setter which comes in handy since most of my pokemon aren't the fastest things in the world. Calm Mind while behind dual screens increases Hatterene's durability alongwith leftovers. Draining Kiss has been chosen so that I can deal damage while also recovering. Psychic is the psychic move I chose to handle poison pokemon but I am not sure if I should have chosen Psyshock instead.

Azumarill
3.png

Azumarill (F) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Belly Drum
- Knock Off
I chose Azumarill over Primarina as the water fairy of the team because of many reasons. Huge Power is very good for powering up all of its attacks. Plus, there is Belly Drum and Sitrus Berry to help recover after using it. Once Belly Drum has been used, Azumarill's attack powers are tremendous, I think. Aqua Jet is the priority water move. Knock Off is useful in multiple occasions and can OHKO Toxapex. I kept Play Rough because I often have to use fairy moves with Azumarill against opponents that are weak to such a move and have low defense rather than special defense.

Klefki
4.png

Klefki (M) @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Foul Play
- Psychic

At this point, I think there is no point making a fairy team if there isn't a Klefki in it. This steel fairy can quickly set up dual screens to halve damages to allies, thanks to its ability Prankster. Foul Play often comes in handy and is good since it damages based on the target's attack stat. Now, the reason I didn't give Klefki any steel or fairy move or even Thunder Wave is because, firstly, there are other ways to deal with opposing fairy pokemon than giving Klefki a steel move, there are already many teammates with powerful fairy moves, thunder wave often misses. I gave it Psychic instead. Reason: It is immune to poison and this move can help it take out a poison pokemon without my other pokemon having to suffer damage.

Togekiss
5.png

Togekiss (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Air Slash
- Dazzling Gleam
- Roost
- Aura Sphere

I like Togekiss. Serene Grace + Air Slash means I can often secure flinches, that is of course, unless it misses. Roost is to keep Togekiss going for long. Aura Sphere can be used against Steel pokemon, but I am kind of in a dilemma whether or not to replace it with Fire Blast. Dazzling Gleam is the fairy move, if required. Togekiss has Leftovers here but I don't know if Babiri Berry would be a better choice. Also, I chose Roost over Morning Sun because the weather these days is really unpredictable.

Mimikyu

6.png

Mimikyu (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Disguise
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Claw
- Shadow Sneak
- Play Rough

Finally, there's Mimikyu. Creepy looking or not, it is kinda cute and its Disguise ability gives it a free Swords Dance in most cases. Shadow Sneak is priority ghost move and Shadow Claw is there in case Shadow Sneak isn't enough to secure an OHKO. Play Rough is the fairy type attack. Not much to say here. Life Orb is chosen to power up all of the attacks even more. Either way, I feel like, once the disguise has been busted, it's a do or die situation for Mimikyu.

So that's all for my team. I wanted to include Clefable since it's such an awesome fairy type. It can act as hazard absorber (Stealth Rock, Spikes, Toxic, etc. have literally no effect on it, thanks to Magic Guard) while it can set up hazards and spread paralysis itself. I have used Clefable in another team but here, since I want to build this team around Sylveon, I couldn't see any other slot that I could safely put Clefable into.

Thank you for reading and please give me your valuable suggestions.

Hi!

Cool idea with the team, I've tried sylveon too and although other pokemon do outclass it, it can be fun.I'm gonna try my best to keep it since thats what you wanted. Here are some changes to make:

:ss/klefki:
Klefki (F) @ Light Clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Light Screen
- Reflect
- Spikes
- Foul Play

I've added Spikes. This is more standard and by spike stacking, you can sweep easier with Azumarill. Another advantage is in case hatterene faints earlier and ur opp sets up stealth rock, setting spikes can force them to Defog and clear hazards from your side as well.

:Ss/Tapu-Bulu: > :ss/Togekiss:
Tapu Bulu @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Horn Leech
- Close Combat
- High Horsepower
- Stone Edge

You lacked speed control so scarf Bulu felt good here. It is great to clean up as well as weaken steel/water/flying mons. Another advantage is Grassy terrains recovery which can be beneficial to your teammates such as Azumarill or Mimikyu.
:ss/Azumarill:
Azumarill (F) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Huge Power
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Aqua Jet
- Play Rough
- Belly Drum
- Knock Off

Changed the evs from max hp to max speed as you still need to be faster than a lot of basic defensive mons such as Corviknight or Pelipper which you weren't.

I tried really hard to put clef in this team but honestly, it's hard to and it would sacrifice on some other aspects which I didn't want.

Here is the full team:https://pokepast.es/962d289e3c21cf96

Good luck and hope it does well!

Hey there; it’s always fun building around Pokémon we like so I like what you have here. I’d make a couple changes that I think would get you some better results.

The changes I’ll suggest are all keeping in mind Sylveons ability to Wish pass and heal up the others on the team.

Major Changes
:Hatterene: -> :Tapu Bulu:
Tapu Bulu @ Babiri Berry
Ability: Grassy Surge
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Horn Leech
- Close Combat
- High Horsepower
- Swords Dance
At first glance this may be odd but the Psychic coverage Hatterene provides isn’t as necessary as you think and losing Magic Bounce is made up for on the updated Klefki set. Tapu Bulu with Swords Dance, Close Combat, High Horsepower and Horn Leech can break slower cores like Steel and Poison very effectively; arguably better then Hatterene.

:Togekiss: -> :Tapu Koko:
Tapu Koko @ Electric Seed
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Dazzling Gleam
- Stored Power
- Calm Mind
Togekiss can be great but I think Fairy has a lot of Pokémon it needs to cover its match ups to there isn’t always room for Togekiss with Sylveon. Tapu Koko is great for breaking down Steel/Flying types that often give Fairy trouble. Electric Seed gives you a free boost to your Defense which both makes you harder to KO and gives a free additional 20 BP to Stored Power. A lot of Calm Mind Tapu Koko sets will run Roost instead of a third attack, but because we have Sylveon to Wish pass we can afford to use a third attack. It also gives you some Psychic coverage.

Minor Changes
:Sylveon:
I know you said you had reservations about Leftovers but I still think it’s the superior item choice. There are plenty of types that don’t have Knock Off access and the small recovery over time can make a difference in Sylveons survivability. Also if they do decide to Knock Off, it’s a lost turn on the opponents part as it’s doing very little damage and relatively low reward gives you do have Wish. Another reason Throat Spray might be less effective is because as you pass Wish to your teammates you switch out a lot and would rather have an item that isn’t single use.

:Azumarill:
All I did here was adjust the EVs in HP to Spe. This means you can attack some of the slower/mid speed walls before they can status, phase, or KO you.

:Klefki:
As mentioned above, we are taking an offensive approach to the hazards situation. By adding Spikes to Klefki not only do you heavily pressure opposing grounded Pokémon but you put the burden of clearing hazards on the opponent so you can keep attacking with your set up sweepers

This new build should prioritize setting Spikes and Screens then switching to your set up sweepers to pressure the opponent. If the sweepers get low on HP use Sylveon to pass Wish and heal them back up. Hopefully you get good results and let me know if you have any questions of just want to tell me how the new team worked.

Thanks a lot. I shall try these out.

I just have one question, if you don't mind. Is it wiser to run Bulu with Choice Scarf or with Babiri Berry as you gave?

You have 2 priority users, Screens and a naturally fast option in Tapu Koko. If you feel speed control is an issue then yes, Bulu is the best option to Scarf. Otherwise leaving it with Swords Dance and it's coverage moves it allows you to break down types like Poison and Steel much better

I won against a poison mono team!! OWO
I just can't believe this!! Sure, both me and the opponent made blunders but still! First I unlocked Valerie's avatar and then I won this: -

I WON against a STEEL team too!! (I won't say anymore after this but it's just that I never hoped to win against poison and steel!)

Not much to say since style.css and plunder are both good players, just wanted to answer this by saying that imo Bulk Up / Swords Dance are the best sets for bulu, especially SD. U really enjoy to hit after your enemy with horn leech, since most of the times you just go back at max hp, and sd + babiri kinda help u a lot against steel and u might even beat some high-rated steel players if playing correctly, even tho Melmetal is always a huge problem for Fairy. Life Orb is also a great item on SD Bulu but u have to pay attention at that bit recoil. There is also to say that Choice Scarf allow u to run 4 moves and that can be helpful since u have space for things like Stone Edge, which can help against things like Choice Specs Zapdos by OHKOing it after SR damage. Honestly i prefer the Attribute Spread with like 144 Speed EVs (u can outspeed steela and ttar +, base 60 without investments and azumarill max speed) and also from Attribute's teams, i really enjoy Toxic on Klefki along Spikes and Screens, since u don't see it that often and can help against things like NP Thund-T or u can even throw it to things like Lando.
