As the title entails this is my first RMT on Smogon and its great to be part of the community guys =D Advise away!

Raikou:
@life orb
Pressure
Timid 0/0/0/252/6/252

Calm mind
Thunderbolt
HP Fighting 70
Shadow Ball

I based the team around Raikou because it has immense power and bulk after a calm mind, When I read the analysis on it I was astonished to hear it could OHKO Heatran and Scizor with a +1 boost, The two most used pokemon in Standard. After that I decided I had to make a team around it.

Heatran:
@leftovers
FlashFire
Naïve 0/0/0/252/6/252

Substitute
Fire Blast
Earth Power
Explosion

I then wanted a Blissey lure, It’s also a fine counter to many other threats so I included Heatran.

Gyarados:
@Leftovers
Intimidate
Adamant 156/76/96/0/0/184

Dragon Dance
Stone Edge
WaterFall
Taunt

Then I needed something that could take ground hits, I chose Gyarados because it can take ground hits and keep all the offensive momentum, Gyarados is also my favorite pokemon so it had to have a spot

Jirachi:
@Choice Scarf
Serene Grace
Jolly 6/252/0/0/0/252

Thunderpunch
Fire Punch
Ice Punch
Iron Head

I needed a check to other DD dos/nite so I added scarf Jirachi, The Flinchax is so awesome, It can often win games when you’re down 1-3 or anything just because of flinches.

Dragonite:
@Leftovers
Inner Focus
Adamant 252/52/0/0/0/204

Dragon Dance
EarthQuake
Outrage
Roost

I added in D-nite for another ground resist and because of it’s sweeping capabilities, It’s pretty much the same reason I added Gyarados.

Azelf:
@Light Clay
Levitate
Jolly 252/0/0/0/6/252

Light Screen
Reflect
Stealth Rock
Explosion
I decided on dual screens Azelf lead, Dual Screens helps aid in setting up one of my sweepers for a sweep early on or late game if Azelf survives.

Please expand your descriptions as they're definitely not up to rule 3:

RMT rules said:
3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.

This does not mean add one sentence saying "Standard x" or "all-around awesome" after each Pokemon. If you put thought into making the team, you can put thought into posting it.

Take a look at the RMT archive to see what kind of descriptions we are looking for. PM me the fixed descriptions and I'll unlock this thread.
