Dark Jumpers

Hello all. This is my 2nd RMT on the Smogon Forums. This team was made by GRB1 from Smogon along with myself (obviously). We are at 1946 on the showdown users ladder with this team and still growing. This team attempts to utilize some of the newer Generation 6 mechanics to take better advantage of a few prominent Generation 5 pokemon. The names are in Latin, so I apologize in advance for any confusion. Please critique in the comments. Here's the team!

Ratio Moventis (Giratina-Origin) @ Griseous Orb
Ability: Levitate
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Shadow Sneak
- Defog
- Will-O-Wisp
- Iron Head

This was the most recent addition to the team and I have to say I'm very pleased. His massive bulk lets him absorb many attacks and maybe hit back. Shadow Sneak is nice stab priority that finishes off some weakened pokemon in the end. Will-o-Wisp neuters physical attackers and sweepers. His utility increases when you give him defog because then I can keep Ho-Oh from becoming useless.

Lumen Celeritate (Palkia) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature
- Spacial Rend
- Thunder
- Fire Blast
- Hydro Pump

This is are scarfer. Deal with it. He tanks hits from scarf Kyogres and kills it. It's a great scarfer and revenge killer. It's a fairly common set and outspends other scarfers which really helps.

arceus-ghost.gif

Rex Spectrum (Arceus-Ghost) @ Spooky Plate
Ability: Multitype
EVs: 236 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Def / 16 Spd
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- ExtremeSpeed
- Recover
- Shadow Force

Introducing our only setup sweeper, Arceus(Mr. badass). After a swords dance his shadow force does massive damage to anything it touches such as ohkoing physically defensive ho-oh and 2hkoing Yveltal. His bulk lets him set up and sometimes even more than once. The only real counter to this is having a normal and a ghost type on the same team and switch harassing.

250.gif

Infernus (Ho-Oh) @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 172 HP / 252 Atk / 84 SDef
Adamant Nature
- Sacred Fire
- Brave Bird
- Substitute
- Roost

With Giratina defogging away all the rocks this guy has room to wreck. It punishes physical pokemon because they get neutered by sacred fire and special attackers because they can't touch it. It job is leaving huge chunks of damage in and pokemon without rock moves. It uses brave bird then regenerates it all back upon switching out.
202.gif

Pimp Daddy Woba (Wobbuffet) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Shadow Tag
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 Def / 252 SDef / 4 Spd
Calm Nature
IVs: NaN Atk
- Safeguard
- Counter
- Encore
- Mirror Coat

This guy does many jobs depending on the battle. It's primary purpose is to deal with Xerneas by tanking a +2 full investment moonblast and mirror coating back for a ohko. He has two more jobs. He can either encore to let an easy Arceus set up or mirror coat/counter another sweeper for an easy kill. He is completely useless though after one sweeper so it's like an eye for an eye situation.

Mors Ominis (Yveltal) @ Leftovers
Ability: Dark Aura
EVs: 252 HP / 126 Def / 130 SDef
Bold Nature
- Toxic
- Roost
- Substitute
- Foul Play

Yvevltal has sooooo many sets to choose from. I thought it would be fun to work with a wall set and it works great. It can take on +2 e-killers and get rid of them alone which is a great utility to have. It walls other things too and hits hard with stab and dark aura foul plays. This set is basically a pseudo Lugia that does more damage.

hi there. This is a fairly cool team, however there are some issues.

Firstly, wobbuffet doesn't seem to be doing all that much. It checks xerneas, yes. but so does ho-oh without sr up(considering you have defog giratina-o, this doesn't seem like too much of an issue). The team also lacks a stealth rock user, and while defog is very prevelant, sr is still rlly nice to deal with ho-oh, yveltal and the chip damage is just very nice in general.

I suggest running mega aggron over wobbuffet. Ik this is a bit of a weird suggestion, but bear with. Mega aggron gives you a flying resistance, and actually counters ho-oh due to filter(cb sacred fire does 50% max iirc, so you counter LO and subroost nicely). Mega aggron also covers your weakness to opposing subroost toxic yveltal - while mega aggron can't deal with more offensive yveltal, ho-oh can. Aggron also gives you sr, which is always nice as chip damage and to make beating ho-oh much easier. The huge physical bulk gives you an answer to zekrom and dd rayquaza-considering you have no answer to these atm, this is quite crucial. Finally, mega aggron doesn't allow xerneas set-up, and beats non focus blast variants one on one thanks to heavy slam. So overall, you still have a good matchup against the fairy stag.

TL;DR wobbuffet--->mega aggron
Aggron @ Aggronite
Ability: Sturdy
EVs: 248 HP / 4 SDef / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Heavy Slam
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide

GL with the team. Hope I helped.
