Darwin R00les

Aiight guys so I've been messing around with lots of teams recently.. and I've finally found one that works well. Basically, I formed it around the power of Infernape as a late game sweeper and built it based on that. Here it is:

Lead:
Dragonite.jpg

Hyperion (Dragonite) @ Focus Sash
Mild
252 SpA, 252 Atk, 4 Spe
Draco Meteor
Earthquake
Fire Blast
Extremespeed

Dragonite is an amazing Anti-lead. With the use of extremespeed, He can 2HKO just about anything with focus sash (Im talking to you Azelf). EV's are to maximize Power and with focus sash/extremespeed, lack of speed means nothing. Have to thank my friend Ray for this one as he was the one who created this monster.

Problem Leads:
Tyranitar: Sandstorm renders my focus sash useless. I usually just EQ and let Dragonite die and then bring in Swampert to set up rocks

ANY GHOST LEAD: extremespeed doesnt effect ghosts... :(

Wall/Entry Hazard Set up:

Neochanna (Swampert) @ Leftovers
Relaxed
252 HP, 216 Def, 40 SpD
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Roar
Ice Beam

Swampert is and will always be one of my favorite walls to use. With his massive bulk he can shrug off any neutral attack. Also, he has been great to just roar out pokemon trying to sub or DDance up and not allow them to sweep. I chose him basically to provide type coverage to Infernape and Celebi and I needed someone to set up rocks due to my lack of a regular lead.

Wall-Stopper/Physical Sweeper:

Poseidon (Gyarados) @ Leftovers
Adamant
156 HP, 72 Atk, 96 Def, 184 Spd
Dragon Dance
Taunt
Waterfall
Stone Edge

I have come to appreciate the power of a Bulky Gyarados. With faster pokemon like Infernape and Jirachi on my team, I didnt really need the standard DDance set with full EV's on speed and attack. I have been able to sweep teams with him using the combination of Taunt/DDance when the given wall switches out. Also, he provides great type coverage to Infernape (can you see the trend).

Physical Wall:
Celebi.jpg

Iris (Celebi) @ Leftovers
Bold
252 HP, 220 Def, 36 Spd
Leaf Storm
Recover
Leech Seed
Earth Power

I have come to really appreciate the wall capabilities that Celebi has. He is able to take down the wall that gives Infernape the most trouble (Vaporeon) which is HUGE to allow Infernape to sweep. I used Earth Power over popular choice like HP Ice because Infernape and Swampert both have ice-type moves and this way i can take down a Heatran (carefully).

Choice Scarfer/Revenge Killer:
jirachi.jpg

Delta (Jirachi) @ Choice Scarf
Jolly
252 Atk, 252 Spd, 4 SpD
Iron Head
Thunderpunch
Fire Punch
Zen Headbutt

Alright so almost every non-stall team NEEDS a choice scarf/priority move user in order to effectively revenge kill weakened Pokemon. I choice Jirachi because of its Base 100 Speed and also because it worked well typing-wise. I chose Zen Headbutt over Ice Punch because again, i already have 2 ice-users on my team that can outspeed most dragons.

Late Game Sweeper/Mixed Attacker:
InfernapeC.jpg

Darwin (Infernape) @ Life Orb
Naive
64 Atk, 252 SpA, 192 Spd
Close Combat
Fire Blast
Grass Knot
HP Ice

Like I said before, Infernape was the creation of this team. From it stemmed Swampert, Celebi, and Gyarados; all of whom counter Infernape's Weaknesses. Since he is able to outspeed almost everything at the end of a battle, he is an effective sweeper, especially with SR out. EV's are to provide more power for Close Combat, and the lack of speed usually doesn't hurt me.

Well, that's it. i would appreciate any suggesting/comments as I usually am not very good at criticizing my own work (who is?). Also, I find that you guys are able to find problem pokemon very easily. Thanks!

I would really go with Shaymin over Celebi, since it's a lot better at beating bulky Waters who stop Infernape. The only reason I'd use Celebi on an offensive team like this would be if I needed a defensive pivot to shield me against Breloom, Machamp or Gyarados, but you already have a lot of Fighting resists, and Dragonite and Gyarados is pretty much all you need to beat them. Even against Gyarados, you can just kill it with Jirachi, or phaze it with Swampert to rack up Stealth Rock damage. Shaymin's key advantage over Celebi is Seed Flare, which lets you handle bulky Waters far more reliably than using Leaf Storm with Celebi. For example, Celebi's Leaf Storm does 66.1% - 77.8% to Vapreon, meaning Celebi can actually be outstalled with Wish, Protect, and the Special Attack drop. I would run Earth Power and Hidden Power Fire for coverage, and although it's not as good as Recover, Leech Seed is still a solid move to heal up if needed.

Shaymin @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Seed Flare
- Earth Power
- Hidden Power Fire
- Leech Seed

You might also want to consider Life Orb on Dragonite. There are actually very few leads that can OHKO Dragonite, since not even a Metagross Meteor Mash or CB Azelf Zen Headbutt will take you out in one shot. With Life Orb, you only need to be afraid of stuff like Swampert's Ice Beam, but you can't even beat it with Focus Sash since two Draco Meteors won't kill it. With Life Orb, Fire Blast will OHKO non-Occa Berry Metagross on average, meaning you can drop Earthquake for Superpower to better deal with Blissey and Tyranitar.

As a minor change, you should definitely replace Zen Headbutt on Jirachi because it's not very useful when Fighting-types won't like taking repeated Iron Heads and their 60% flinch rate. I strongly recommend Trick over Zen Headbutt, since it gives you another way of dealing with bulky Waters to help Infernape sweep. You can also try U-turn to scout for Magnezone, but overall Trick is more useful for setting up Infernape and also dealing with stall.

Some slight suggestions:

Dragonite: EQ is superior on lead, but Superpower might be a good shot to break stall. And same suggestion of Iconic,Life Orb is usually better.

Swampert: Ice Beam is better on Gliscor and ... While Avalanche has more BP,use Atk instead of SpAtk.Just an idea.

Celebi: If he is a wall, then Grass Knot is usually better than Leaf Storm.

Jirachi: Same suggestion as above, change Zen Headbutt(poor coverage) for Trick.

Thanks for the rates guys I really appreciate it. As for the suggestions:

Iconic/Marconidas:
Dragonite: I used Life Orb in a couple of battles.. you'd be surprised how many pokemon OHKO me with my lack of bulk. Aerodactyl rapes me with Stone Edge and others also just absolutely kill me with random ice moves. Also, Fire Blast does about 95% to Metagross while I'm Life Orbed against max bulk Metagross.. so the extra boost didn't help too much there. I think I'm going to stick with my original set.

Iconic: Thanks for the advice I like Shaymin a lot and he fits perfectly alongside Infernape. Also Trick has been a better call over zen headbutt.

Marcindonas: I'll try out Avalanche and see which I prefer.

Zapdos: Read my original description of Jirachi...
