Introduction
I was always a fan of duel screen hyper offence but I saw big dip in usage after zygrage got banned. Most duel screen teams where too predictable and people countered them because everyone knew what the Pokemon on the field was gonna do. so I decided that ill make a team thats very unexpected and use the surprise factor against my opponents hence charizard y with dragon dance. add a katana and kommo-o in there and your opponent will go nuts. this team got me really far up the ladder. top 10 at one point. Best part is, its actually fun to play with.

The Team

landorus-therian.gif

Landorus-Therian @ Focus Sash
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Rock Tomb
- Defog
- Earthquake
standard landorus lead. I tried plenty of sets for him. first it was explosion sword dance, then explosion defog. but I finally decided to give him rock tomb and defog. for tornados and other stealth rockers. rock tomb is very helpful against other landorus's and protein greninja.

kartana.gif

Kartana @ Normalium Z
Ability: Beast Boost
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 19 Atk
- Swords Dance
- Sacred Sword
- Giga Impact
- Leaf Blade

in my opinion the best set for katana. this karatana has been so clutch with me. best thing about this katana is that no one thinks he's a sword dance katana, so they switch when they see him. he's my revenge killer/ late game sweeper depending on the Pokemon my opponent has left. this set destroys rain, sand, stall, and bulky offence. works amazingly well with charizard as they get rid of each others checks. after 1 sword dance, his mega move 1 shots defensive zapdos, and mega venusaur. you will see in the replays how good he can be.

tapukoko.gif

Tapu Koko @ Magnet
Ability: Electric Surge
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- U-turn
- Defog
- Thunderbolt
- Volt Switch

next Pokemon is koko who is part of my double defog core for charizard. when someone sees my team in the preview they think duel screen koko. he's the pivot/ revenge killerer of the team. he sets up electric terrain for hawlucha and prevent my opponent from putting me to sleep. works very well with katana, charizard y, and kommo-o with volturn. why magnet you say? for extra power to get rid of some threats to this team especially medicham. here are some examples

252 SpA Magnet Tapu Koko Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Medicham-Mega in Electric Terrain: 246-289 (94.2 - 110.7%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Magnet Tapu Koko Thunderbolt vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Lopunny-Mega in Electric Terrain: 220-261 (81.1 - 96.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

hawlucha.gif

Hawlucha @ Electric Seed
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance
- High Jump Kick
- Acrobatics

hawlucha is my main late game sweeper after some of its checks like landourus, mew, and toxipex are gone or weakened. why full attack and full speed? I don't need much bulk and the full speed really helps with the speed tie since other hawluchas are a big problem if koko is weakened. I picked stone edge since static zapdos and rocky helmet tornadous are everywhere.

+2 252+ Atk Hawlucha Stone Edge vs. 248 HP / 240+ Def Zapdos: 306-360 (79.8 - 93.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

charizard-megay.gif

Charizard-Mega-Y @ Charizardite Y
Ability: Drought
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Earthquake
- Fire Blast/flamthrower
- Solar Beam

the mvp of the team without question. charizard y hits like a tank. imagine getting a speed boost on him and sweeping teams after teams because thats exactly what he does. 1 speed boost makes him faster than gren, scarf landi, mega alakazam, daincie, and the list goes on and on. charizard is usually used as an early wallbreaker but this set can be used both late game and early game. the amount of kills I got from him after dragon dancing before going mega and hitting him with the fireblast after .earthquake is for heatran, toxipex and tyranitars who think they're slick switching into a solar beam. I picked fireblast to ohko Lele and landi. yeah it really sucks when you miss but ill take the risk. drought helps with greninjas and keldeos.

+1 4 Atk Charizard-Mega-Y Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 4 Def Toxapex: 156-184 (51.3 - 60.5%) -- 88.3% chance to 2HKO after Black Sludge recovery
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Tapu Lele in Sun: 279-328 (99.2 - 116.7%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
252 SpA Charizard-Mega-Y Fire Blast vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Garchomp in Sun: 179-211 (50.1 - 59.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

kommoo.gif

Kommo-o @ Salac Berry
Ability: Bulletproof
EVs: 52 HP / 204 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Belly Drum
- Substitute
- Drain Punch
- Thunder Punch

mvp number 2. kommo-o is so underrated in this meta. I can't explain how many times iv won with this set. bulletproof ability is so good helping you set up on venusaur, and ferrothorn. he destroys rain and bulky offence. switch in on the greninja and belly dance lol.

threat list:

toxapex.gif
- this thing is so annoying. especially the defensive ones. if you get the opportunity to earthquake then go for it. you can play around it though.
cloyster.gif
-if he gets the boost then click X lol

clefable.gif
- the unaware cosmic power thing. its like impossible to break

medicham-mega.gif
lopunny-mega.gif
-double priority like fakeout quick-attack/bullet punch

greninja-ash.gif
- if kommo-o is dead then gg

mawile-mega.gif
marowak-alola.gif
-trick room but you can play around it

chansey.gif
- this blob of fat is hard to kill.

I feel that even though you end up losing the surprise factor, Mega Charizard X works better overall with this team since it does more damage overall to the mons you put down on your calculations and swapping out Y for X would also improve your match up against Chansey and Clef.

It would make your match up against rain a bit worse but you can solve that by going with a bulkier build on Lucha to allow you to set up on Mega Pert.

hawlucha.png

Hawlucha @ Electric Seed
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 120 HP / 220 Atk / 20 Def / 24 SpD / 124 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- High Jump Kick
- Acrobatics
- Substitute

This is a set I use and I feel it's probably it's best overall set as it allows you to set up on Mons such as Gliscor, SSSS Lando Hippowdon not carrying Roar and a few other Mons carrying status moves you wouldn't otherwise be able to set up on such as T wave Chansey.
