[SET COMMENTS]
Dragon Dance Roaring Moon is an extremely powerful late game cleaner, boasting wide ranging coverage, good mixed bulk with a defense donation, and both extreme attack power and speed thanks to Dragon Dance. Roaring Moon fits best on offense teams with ample offensive pressure and momentum to wear down opposing defensive cores and set Roaring Moon up for a sweep. Knock Off is a consistent STAB move that can 2HKO common defensive pokemon after a Dragon Dance such as Rotom Wash after Stealth Rock, Corviknight, and Defensive Zapdos, while also removing items such as Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots, making walls easier to wear down and remove later on. Acrobatics synergizes well with Booster Energy, while also hitting Fighting-types like Zamazenta, Great Tusk, and both Urshifu forms. Earthquake can OHKO Steel-types such as Zacian-C, Heatran, and Iron Treads while also hitting Iron Hands super effectively. Finally, Dragon Dance gives Roaring Moon its ability to sweep teams late game, granting it its aforementioned attack power as well as the ability to out speed the entire unboosted metagame. Tera Flying boosts the power of Acrobatics, notably allowing Roaring Moon to OHKO uninvested Great Tusk before a Dragon Dance, and Dauntless Shield Zamazenta after a Dragon Dance. Alternatively, Tera Ground boosts the power of Earthquake, allowing Roaring Moon to OHKO Eternatus and Offensive Iron Hands. Roost can also be an option instead of Acrobatics on Tera Ground sets, as the longevity it provides pairs well with Roaring Moon's bulk and the defensive utility of Ground-type. The Adamant Nature maximizes Roaring Moon's attack, however, it can instead run an EV spread of 36 HP / 220 Atk / 252 Spe with a Jolly nature to cause Protosynthesis to boost speed instead, sacrificing power so that Roaring Moon can act as a revenge killer.

Roaring Moon can receive defense from gods such as Arceus-Ghost, Necrozma-DM, and Eternatus so it can use its great mixed bulk to reliably set up Dragon Dance. However, Roaring Moon's offensive stats are already great naturally, so it can function fine in any slot, allowing something else to use the defense donation. Roaring Moon is vulnerable to priority users that can hit it super effectively, so it appreciates Pokemon like Heatran, Zamazenta, and Iron Valiant, who cover Lokix, and others such as Zacian-C, Excadrill, and Iron Crown, who cover Comfey. Roaring Moon also struggles to beat Unaware users such as Clefable and Dondozo, so it appreciates the presence of strong special attackers like Electrode-Hisui and Choice Specs Volcanion, who can KO them or put them in range to be KOed by Roaring Moon. Roaring Moon has an easier time scoring KOs with entry hazard support, so it appreciates Stealth Rock setters like Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and Skarmory. Roaring Moon, in return, increases the effectiveness of entry hazards by removing Heavy-Duty Boots with Knock Off.

Dragon Dance Roaring Moon is an extremely powerful late game cleaner, boasting a great offensive typing would reconsider this since if it was really that great, you would not be dropping dragon stab that often, wide ranging coverage, good mixed bulk with a defense donation, and both extreme attack power and speed thanks to Dragon Dance. Roaring Moon fits best on balance and bulky offense teams that can wear down its checks so that it can boost itself up and finish them off. Knock Off is a very strong consistent STAB move that can 2HKO common defensive Pokemon after a Dragon Dance such as Arceus HP Rotom Wash after Stealth Rock, Arceus HP Corviknight, and defensive Zapdos, while also removing items such as Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots, making walls easier to wear down and remove later on. Acrobatics hits Fighting-types that resist Knock Off such as Great Tusk, Zamazenta, and both Urshifu forms, as well as benefiting from Booster Energy by doubling in power after it is consumed I would probably move this part to the front and say something like "Acrobatics synergizes well with Booster Energy, while also hitting Fighting-types". Earthquake can OHKO Steel-types such as Excadrill, Heatran, and Iron Treads where Knock Off wouldn't, while also hitting Iron Hands super effectively, for it is otherwise neutral to Acrobatics. Alternatively, Roaring Moon can forgo this coverage in favour of Outrage, a devastatingly powerful STAB move that will OHKO or 2HKO the majority of neutral targets with a Dragon Dance; Outrage is risky however, as it allows Fairy-types to switch in for free. Finally, Dragon Dance gives Roaring Moon its ability to sweep teams late game, granting it its aforementioned attack power as well as the ability to out speed the entire unboosted metagame. Tera Flying boosts the power of Acrobatics, notably allowing Roaring Moon to OHKO 0 def uninvested Great Tusk before a Dragon Dance, and Dauntless Shield Zamazenta after a Dragon Dance. Alternatively, Tera Dark makes Knock Off nearly impossible to switch into. Replace with stuff about Tera Ground boosting Earthquake The Adamant Nature maximizes Roaring Moon's attack, however, it can instead run an EV spread of 36 HP / 220 Atk / 252 Spe with a Jolly nature to cause Protosynthesis to boost speed instead, sacrificing power so that Roaring Moon can act as a revenge killer.

Roaring Moon can receive defense from gods such as Arceus-Ghost more relevant, Necrozma-DM, and Groudon so it can use its great mixed bulk to reliably set up Dragon Dance. However, Roaring Moon's offensive stats are already great naturally, so it can function fine in any slot, allowing something else to use the defense donation. Roaring Moon is vulnerable to priority users such as Lokix and Comfey, so it appreciates Pokemon that can switch into them such as Heatran, Moltres, or Skarmory. Roaring Moon also struggles to beat Unaware users such as Clodsire, Booster EQ still hits Clodsire really hard since Unaware doesn't ignore Booster Clefable and Dondozo, so it appreciates the presence of strong special attackers like Choice Specs Hydrapple having both rmoon and apple sounds bad ngl, maybe like Arceus-Ghost or something idk, QC 2 can def change this if they want but i think rmoon ghostceus synergize well, Electrode-Hisui, and Choice Specs Volcanion, who can KO them or put them in range to be KOed by Roaring Moon. Roaring Moon has an easier time scoring KOs with entry hazard support, so it appreciates Stealth Rock setters like Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and Skarmory. Finally, pivots such as Slowking-Galar, Rotom-Wash, and Landorus-T can get Roaring Moon on the field safely so it can set up not a huge fan of this point because the whole point is rmoon gets bulky with defense donation and can switch into things like helec, pivots are not better for rmoon than the average mon - especially true when you use roost.

Dragon Dance Roaring Moon is an extremely powerful late game cleaner, boasting wide ranging coverage, good mixed bulk with a defense donation, and both extreme attack power and speed thanks to Dragon Dance. Roaring Moon fits best on balance and bulky offense teams that can wear down its checks so that it can boost itself up and finish them off. Disagree, especially on the balance part. Moon desn't really work on balance since it lacks longevity and can only really hit the field once, so you're basically playing a 5v6 in balance mirrors. Moon fits a lot better on offenses instead because the offensive pressure they assert is a more reliable way of chipping down the mons that check moon, and it fits better on those kind of fast-paced styles Knock Off is a consistent STAB move that can 2HKO common defensive pokemon after a Dragon Dance such as Rotom Wash after Stealth Rock, Corviknight, and Defensive Zapdos, while also removing items such as Leftovers and Heavy-Duty Boots, making walls easier to wear down and remove later on. Acrobatics synergizes well with Booster Energy, while also hitting Fighting-types like Zamazenta, Great Tusk, and both Urshifu forms. Earthquake can OHKO Steel-types such as Excadrill Zacian-Crowned, Heatran, and Iron Treads while also hitting Iron Hands super effectively. I'm really doubtful about outrage, since gg has a TON of really good fairies and generally knock off is just as good or better at hitting the neutral mons Finally, Dragon Dance gives Roaring Moon its ability to sweep teams late game, granting it its aforementioned attack power as well as the ability to out speed the entire unboosted metagame.

Roaring Moon can receive defense from gods such as Arceus-Ghost, Necrozma-DM, and Groudon Eternatus groudon is quite niche rn and doesn't really fit that well with the kind of style moon is best on. In fact, it could end up being anti-synergy with the booster dd sets that run acrobatics since you don't get the power boost if you hit the field if sun is already active so it can use its great mixed bulk to reliably set up Dragon Dance. Would seperate this into mons that check lokix (heatran, zamazenta and iron valiant) and mons that check comfey (zacian-c, excadrill, and iron crown), instead Roaring Moon also struggles to beat Unaware users such as Clefable and Dondozo, so it appreciates the presence of strong special attackers like Electrode-Hisui and Choice Specs Volcanion, who can KO them or put them in range to be KOed by Roaring Moon. Roaring Moon has an easier time scoring KOs with entry hazard support, so it appreciates Stealth Rock setters like Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and Skarmory. also mention how hazards let moon wear down fatter teams that rely on heavy duty boots with knock off over time
