SS Doubles OU Dd zygarde balance

So here is my try to build around dd zyg

:Zygarde:
Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 76 HP / 252 Atk / 180 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Thousand Arrows
- Substitute
- Protect
So here is the star of my team I really love dd zygarde cause it's so awesome after one dd. The moves are dd thousand arrows sub and protect which I feel are pretty obvious. The EV spread is also pretty much standard used in sm dou. The item I chose is left overs over berries cause I feel berries aren't as good in as ss as they were in sm. The main purpose of zygarde is very crucial it sweeps late or mid game with t arrows on weakened foes. So the only thing I need to don't is chip away my foes as much as possible and this is efficiently done by my pivots and fake out held zyg to set up one dd without effort. Tarrows hits both foes which I find very very helpful. Substitute is to avoid status and intimidate which is one of the move that makes zyg a efficient sweeper and protect is a needed element.

:Tapu fini:
Tapu Fini @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 32 Def / 132 SpA / 92 SpD
Bold Nature
- Nature's Madness
- Moonblast
- Heal Pulse
- Protect
Here's my team's support as tapu fini is one of the best partners for zyg. It has an excellent offensive and defensive synergy with zyg. Fini drives of dragons and is a switch in to ice types that zyg struggles to ko. Especially I have to mention infiltrator and dragon darts dragapult as one of the checks that zyg can't avoid even behind substitute. Zygarde greatly benefits from the Misty terrain support provided by fini so that it deals even with dragapult and fini also has heal pulse that can maintain longetivity of the teammates. Nature's madness is the best tool the chip away mom's that resist moonblast protect is a required tool for efficient play. The item I prefer is Sitrus Berry as it helps for fini to recover a pinch of it's hp maintaining it's longetivity. Zygarde threatens regieleki and other electric types for fini. The EV spread is a standard one used in gen 7.

:Genesect:

Genesect @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
EVs: 160 Atk / 96 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- U-turn
- Iron Head
- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower

Here's the main pivot of my team. It is one of the best mom's that fits with dd zyg after fini. It threatens fairy types for fini and can ohko problems to it like Lando t. It is best at chipping away opposing mom's with u turn to make zyg even more efficient in sweeping late game. In turn zyg threatens the fire type switch ins to genesect to maintain it's longetivity. Flamethrower is an important tool against ferrothorn and other steel types that resist it's stabs. U turn is a very good stab combined with choice scarf genesect becomes a deadly pivot. The EV spread is the standard one used in gen 7. Choice scarf makes genesect an effective pivot.

:Incineroar:
Incineroar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Flare Blitz
- Knock Off
- Parting Shot
- Fake Out

Incineroar is a great mon in dou because elements like intimidate fake out and parting shot are needed for almost every team to take it's standard to a higher level.
The team needed a psychic immunity for genesect can't take up many hits from Lele or stored power mew and Articuno galar. It too is greatly supported by tapu fini as fini takes on fighting types like zapdos galar, Heal pulse heals up incineroar which is very helpful because incineroar has no type of recovery. Flare blitz is an secondary fire type move needed as genesect could be locked onto one move. Knock off is a very helpful element to ward off berries and choice items. Fake out helps breakers like zygarde and zapdos in my team to efficiently break past teams. Parting shot helps zyg to set dd effectively. The item I chose was heavy duty boots as it lets incin switch more effectively.

:zeraora:
Zeraora @ Assault Vest
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Plasma Fists
- Snarl
- Volt Switch

Zeraora is another mon which supports my team effectively with fake out+pivot options. It can also wallbreak through some mons. Snarl lowers special attack of some mons which works very efficiently with intimidate. Plasma fists is a very powerful stab move breaks through non resistant mons. it forms a good core with zapdos galar and incineroar. It takes flying types for zap and zap breaks ground types for it. Volt switch is a pivoting option to bring in mons safely. The item I chose is assault vest as it enables zeraora take flying type hits efficiently and also take some powerful hits. The ev spread I chose was max attack with max speed to maximise damage.

:zapdos galar:
Zapdos-Galar @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stomping Tantrum
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Protect

I now needed one more wallbreaker besides zygarde and I chose zapdos cause it has very good coverage and forces intimidate which can be helpful to zyg as many intimidate mons switch into it. brave bird and close combat are extremely powerful stabs which when combined with life orb deal huge damage to even resistances. Stomping tantrum is for electric switch in. The sole reason for me to chose Zapdos was it's ability and sheet power cause my team is vulnerable to intimidate without it.

This is my whole team

The only weakness to this team seems dual screen with mins like Articuno g and Zapdos g ( others can be dealt With snarl+intimidate

Hi!

I actually really like your team and think it is definitely viable in its current stage. I have a few small suggestions which I think can take your team to the next level. Before I get into actually rating, I want to talk about EV Spreads.

Your Zygarde, Tapu Fini, Genesect, and Incineroar spreads are all from SM DOU, which makes them very outdated. For example, your Zygarde spreads lets you outspeed Mega Manectric at +1, which isn't even in the game. As I go through and rate, I'll be providing better EV spreads for you to use :)

:ss/zygarde:
Zygarde @ Leftovers
Ability: Aura Break
EVs: 48 HP / 232 Atk / 228 Spe
Adamant Nature
IVs: 0 SpA
- Dragon Dance
- Thousand Arrows
- Substitute
- Protect
Your current DD Zygarde moves looks good, only change I would make is to you an EV spread of 48 HP / 232 Atk / 228 Spe with an Adamant Nature. This allows you to outspeed Max Speed Zeraora at +1, as well as hit a Leftovers + Substitute number (HP divisible by 16 + 1).

:ss/tapu-fini:
Tapu Fini @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Misty Surge
EVs: 252 HP / 24 Def / 180 SpD / 52 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hydro Pump
- Moonblast
- Nature's Madness
- Protect
I changed Heal Pulse to Hydro Pump for two main reasons: Landorus-T and Diancie. While Tapu Fini can easily switch into them, it's not actually beating them without Water STAB. Nature's Madness is nice, yea, but you want to be able to 2HKO them and not just take 50% of their HP. I chose Hydro Pump over Scald or Muddy Water because it secures the 2HKO on both of the aforementioned pokemon which is well worth the accuracy issues.
0 SpA Tapu Fini Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 208+ SpD Landorus-Therian: 198-234 (51.8 - 61.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Tapu Fini Scald vs. 252 HP / 208+ SpD Landorus-Therian: 144-170 (37.6 - 44.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 SpA Tapu Fini Muddy Water vs. 252 HP / 208+ SpD Landorus-Therian: 120-144 (31.4 - 37.6%) -- 91.7% chance to 3HKO

0 SpA Tapu Fini Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Diancie: 162-192 (53.2 - 63.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
0 SpA Tapu Fini Scald vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Diancie: 116-140 (38.1 - 46%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 SpA Tapu Fini Muddy Water vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Diancie: 98-116 (32.2 - 38.1%) -- 96% chance to 3HKO
Nature's Madness is incredibly important for the Calm Mind Cresselia matchup. Toxic doesn't really fit anywhere on your team because of Misty Terrain, so you need another way to beat it. Here's a DWCOP Replay that shows Grandmas Cookin masterfully use Nature's Madness Tapu Fini + U-Turn Genesect to wear down and eventually kill Cresselia. Cresselia is going to be a tough matchup, but it's certainly winnable. The adjusted EV Spread outspeeds 0 Spe Landorus-T and lives two -1 Brave Birds from Life Orb Galar Zapdos.

:ss/genesect:
Genesect @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Download
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Hasty Nature
- Flash Cannon
- Ice Beam
- Flamethrower
- U-turn
Small tweak here, but I think Flash Cannon is currently mandatory on Genesect because of how good Diancie is. Although it was recently revealed that we've been use the wrong Diamond Storm mechanics for more than an entire generation, it can still easily boost to +2/+4/+6 defense and ravage your team with Body Press. Flash Cannon lets you not worry about Diamond Storm boosts and always secure the OHKO. Since we're now running 3 special moves, 252 SpA is preferred.

:ss/incineroar:
Incineroar @ Heavy-Duty Boots
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 164 Atk / 92 Def
Adamant Nature
IVs: 0 SpA
- Fake Out
- Flare Blitz
- Knock Off
- Parting Shot
HDB is definitely my favorite item item on Incineroar, so good call there. The only change I would make is to the EVs. I would personally run 252 HP / 164 Atk / 92 Def with an Adamant Nature to OHKO Max HP Rillaboom. This is especially important on your team since Rillaboom is one of the best checks to Zygarde and Tapu Fini. The remaining EVs are dumped into defense, but some can be moved to Speed to win Fake Out wars.

:ss/zeraora:
Zeraora @ Assault Vest
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Plasma Fists
- Knock Off
- Volt Switch
My only change here would be Knock Off over Play Rough. AV Zeraora is meant to be used as a pivot, not a damage dealer, so non-boosted Play Rough hits like a wet noodle. Knock Off is overall one of the best moves in the game and lets you chip down your opponent for the Zygarde sweep.

:zapdos-galar:
Zapdos-Galar @ Life Orb
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Brave Bird
- Close Combat
- Substitute
- Protect
I strongly considered making this slot a Stealth Rocks setter but decided to keep Galar Zapdos because your team is admittedly weak against Intimidate. Landorus-T is one of the most common Pokemon and switch ins to Zygarde, so having a strong Defiant user can really deter it from coming in.
The third slot on Zapdos-G is a mystery. Stomping Tantrum is definitely subpar, plus you already have two electric immunities, so I would try out moves such as Substitute, Bulk Up, or even Steel Wing. I don't think anyone really knows what the best third move is, so I would encourage you to try them all out and pick what you think is best.

:zygarde: :tapu-fini: :genesect: :incineroar: :zeraora: :zapdos-galar: (click me!)

As for your questions facing duel screens, Genesect should be able to OHKO Alola-Ninetails with Flash Cannon before it has the change to use Aurora Veil. As for prankster screeners such as Klefki or Grimmsnarl, you can apply offensive pressure with Substitute Zygarde and Galar Zapdos. Another options is double targeting the screen setter Turn 1 so the most they can get up is either Reflect or Light Screen. I don't think Screens are too common, but if you have any questions you can PM me on Discord at emma ❤#7254. Hope this helped, and happy playing! n_n
