Refrain from suggesting any legendaries or moves learned from Gen 5 Tutors only/Items not available in XY.
Back here with another RMT. You may notice a lack of rating in the title. That does not mean I haven't tested the team and taken it seriously. It means that I have not laddered with it. I'd like serious and respectful rates.
I wanted to build the team with Forretress, Dragonite and Gengar at the center. After realizing that Gengar gets beat by every Greninja on the planet, I switched it for Mega Alakazam. This team is more offensive, which I like, but lacks a sufficient physical wall. Finding something to fit here is difficult, since not that many good pokemon get Stealth Rock by level/breeding (the big red text at the top will show you why that's a problem.) Anyway, that's enough for the intro. On to the building process. Gonna put it in hide, so you don't fall asleep before you read about the team.
Building Process:
Great leader. Great wall. Skarmory was an option, but I needed a way to clear hazards without removing my own. I'd sooner take being Spinblocked any day. Goes pretty well with Dragonite.
Primary physical sweeper. Dragon Dance + Weakness Policy + ExtremeSpeed = GG. Unless something resists my moves.
Primary special sweeper. I found a way to use this dynamic duo in every other generation, so this one is no different.
Special wall. Synergizes well with Alakazam.
Secondary physical sweeper. When Dragonite goes down the drain, Infernape comes in to shine. Also a semi-decent Revenge Killer.
Secondary special sweeper. What's a team without the most use washing machine in history?

Now that you've met the team, here's what you came for. Made the read easier with some pretty gifs for your eyes.

Forretress @ Leftovers
Bold
Sturdy
252 Def/252 HP/6 Atk
Stealth Rock
Rapid Spin
Gyro Ball
Volt Switch
Forretress is always a fantastic lead. Doubling as my physical wall. It usually survives, unless the opponent leads with something that will kill this just for the purpose of taking it out. Also gets wrecked by Taunt, obviously. The team needs Stealth Rock badly so that Dragonite and Alakazam can score key OHKOs. Rapid Spin is duh. People are playing Earthquake, but you're not gonna get an EQ off on anything relevant to stop it from killing it, so Gyro Ball covers STAB. Volt Switch is for free damage against anything slower or anything that can't hit me back very well after I set Rocks. I need help with the item. Leftovers seems good in theory, but if it doesn't survive past turn 2 I'd need something more efficient. Refer to the big red text at the beginning before suggesting anything.

Dragonite @ Weakness Policy
Jolly
Multiscale
252 Atk/252 Spe/6 SDef
Dragon Dance
ExtremeSpeed
Earthquake
Dragon Claw
"May I have this dance, m'lady?" DDNite in all its glory. I like Weakness Policy/Dragon Claw over Lum Berry/Outrage because you can't really afford to just spam Outrage anymore. Not with all the priority and fairies that smack poor Dragonite right out of the sky. Dragon Dance is what gets this fat dragon off his legs to work. ExtremeSpeed is the needed priority, OHKOing Talonflame at +1, and if Mamoswine has activated Weakness Policy, OHKOing it after SR damage. Earthquake is my coverage move of choice. It hits all steels not named Skarmory pretty hard, plus gets all around better coverage than Fire Punch. Putting the 6 EVs in SDef seems to be doing a little better than putting them in HP, so I think that'll stay.

Alakazam @ Alakazite
Timid
Magic Guard -> Trace
252 SAtk/252 Spe/6 HP
Psyshock
Dazzling Gleam
Focus Blast
Shadow Ball
Mega Alakazam is excellence. Everyone overlooked him this generation because his mega got Trace. Magic Guard reigns supreme over any other ability, allowing me to not fear loss of offensive presence if I can't clear Rocks/Spikes. You don't just Mega Evolve all willy-nilly, so it usually does a good job of faking a Choice/Sash set. Best case scenario, they send out Greninja to Dark Pulse/U-Turn it, or send out Dragonite. Copying either of their abilities usually lets Alakazam sweep whatever is left of the team. The moveset is strictly for coverage, as it does not have the greatest movepool to choose from to begin with.

Sylveon @ Leftovers
Calm
Cute Charm
252 SDef/252 HP/6 SAtk
Moonblast
Wish
Toxic
Protect
I feel like this Sylveon set is too common. Unfortunately, Sylveon doesn't have a lot of tricks up its sleeves. I tested a Baby-Doll Eyes Mixed Wall set, but it got beat out by Special Attackers once it was revealed to be carrying physical bulk. Moonblast is the one attacking move, Wish for recovery, Toxic to cripple opposing walls, and Protect to help aid with Wish or stall for Toxic. Upon testing, I may replace Toxic. If the opponent switches into a Steel type, it's essentially a free turn. Protect could become Baton Pass, if I need to restore Dragonite to full HP.

Infernape @ Choice Band
Jolly
Iron Fist
252 Atk/252 Spe/6 HP
ThunderPunch
U-Turn
Close Combat
Flare Blitz
We'll call him the Vice President of this team. Don't see him much on a regular basis, but prepared to take action in the absence of Dragonite. I love the CB set, because LO doesn't aid the attack loss when going for a +Speed nature. ThunderPunch is better than Mach Punch, by far. You aren't hitting anything relevant with Mach Punch that isn't covered by Close Combat. U-Turn creates sort of a VoltTurn core with Rotom, Close Combat and Flare Blitz are STAB moves of choice. Stone Edge also proved useful, but Iron Fist ThunderPunch is pretty much the same thing at that point.

Rotom-W @Choice Scarf
Modest
Levitate
252 SAtk/252 Spe/6 HP
Trick
Will-O-Wisp
Hydro Pump
Volt Switch
Classic Rotom. Secondary special attacker, plus the staple water type. Didn't like what Starmie or Greninja was doing for my team, so this works. Scarf set tested a hell of a lot better than Physically or Specially defensive. I could go Specs/Timid to make efficient use of Trick on physical sweepers, but Scarf breaks the walls that cripple my team, not to mention lets it act as a marvelous revenge killer. Will-O-Wisp is my status of choice since Thunder Wave really doesn't do much for the team. Hydro Pump and Volt Switch are STABS of choice.

All in all, the team has functioned pretty well so far. Nothing specific really threatens the team (at least from what I've played), but Gliscor and Tyranitar give a hard time, as well as anything that goes heavy on status, Taunt, or setup sweepers.
Thank you for reading. I appreciate any help you could give, as long as you are not rude. Before the importable..
I'd like to give credit to Pkparaiso for the XY gifs. I see a lot of people using them, but nobody giving credit.

Importable (Note, this is coming from PO and not PS, so sorry if there are any mistakes.)
