Moltres @ Life Orb

Ability: Pressure

EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spe, -Atk)
- Ominous Wind
- Sunny Day
- Solarbeam
- Fire Blast
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@
As a lead, Moltres owns with this set. Setting up a sunny day gets my team in motion and allows my Moltres to use a basically a double STAB fire blast with a life orb. Solarbeam is in there for taking out water switch in’s, and ominous wind deals super effectiveness to the ever popular Uxie lead while running the chance of a boost to special attack and speed which, equals destruction. All in all, Moltres is on my team to thin the enemies’ team and set up sunny day.

Arcanine (F) @ Life Orb
arcanine_display.png
Ability: Intimidate

EVs: 252 HP/252 Atk/ 4 Spe
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Return
- Flare Blitz
- Morning Sun
- Agility
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@
This set makes me pee my pants. After agility, using flare blitz Arcanine while a sunny day’s up gives a 252 EV, nature positive, 110 base attack with a 300 power move, just wrecks. Due to recoil from flare blitz and life orb, morning suns a must, and return finishes survivors plus provides extra coverage. Arcanine is a lovely edition to my team as it provides a much needed ice resistance to my team.

Camerupt (F) @ Heat Rock
sprite.php
Ability: Solid Rock

EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spe)
- Stealth Rock
- Sunny Day
- Lava Plume
- Earthquake
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@@
Camerupt, although not very bulky, he seems to fit the type of wall I needed. With stealth rock which most of my pokemon like to have up, sunny day with a heat rock, and complimentary typing with most of my team, Camerupt allows easy switch-ins. So, the question may be how do I switch in Camerupt in if most of my pokemon need sunny day up first but my moltres shares many weakness with Moltres. Well, most of the time, Moltres can outspeed threats then KO them, allowing an easy Camerupt switch. But, the biggest threat to my team was Manectric, usually being sent in immediatley after their lead dies, Manectric can outspeed Moltres and easily OHKO it with thunderbolt, but swicthing in Camerupt on the electric sweeper will force some switches.

Exeggutor (F) @ Life Orb
exeggutor.png
Ability: Chlorophyll

EVs: 4 HP/252 Spd/200 SAtk/52 SDef
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Solarbeam
- Psychic
- Sleep Powder
- Wish
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@
Two STAB’s and plus a wish pass and sleep powder. Good ol’ chlorophyll and 252 speed EV’s up Exeggutor’s speed to 409 allowing it to outspeed 90% of UU pokemon even with 252 EV’s. So, you’re probably wondering, why wish. My Exeggutor is bulky enough to make a good enough wish passer which is essential for Arcanine, Camerupt, and Shiftry if the situation is dangerous. Sleep powder puts immediate threats out of commmision and allows me to freely wish pass

Slowbro (F) @ Leftovers
slowbro.png
Ability: Own Tempo

EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Calm Mind
- Slack Off
- Psychic
- Flamethrower
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@
At first glance Slowbro seems set apart from my team, well, it is. Calm minding a few times will make Slowbro a beastly tank. I mainly chose Slowbro to counter Blaziken, a common sweeper in the UU world, I kept finding Blaziken taking advantage of sunny day to set my grassy types ablaze, this goes for any UU fire sweeper. Also, a Slowbro will be unpredictable on a sunny day after retreating their fire type, once they figure out my set; it’ll probably force another switch. Cradily and Regirock were also eligible walls, but a psychic water wall on a sunny day sweeping team just seems so much more fun.

Shiftry (F) @ Heat Rock
sprite.php
Ability: Chlorophyll @Heat Rock

EVs: 252 HP/ 252 Atk/ 4 Spd
Adament nature (+Atk, -SpD)
- Sunny Day
- Swords Dance
- Faint Attack
- Return
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ @@@@@@@@@@
A Shiftry set that really only works if you can pull it off on a switch or if sunny day still has a lot of lasting time, luckily, Shiftry usually is eay to switch in as grass goes well with fire. Providing a much needed physical attacker on my team, I looked to Shiftry. Swords dance is needed on this set, with only average attack and poor defence, Shiftry needs the boost in order to usually pull of a OHKO. But use sunny day only when needed or a possibly devastating attack will be inflicted on him.

If Moltres is your lead, then it requires Heat Rock. Ominous Wind is not needed, replace with Air Slash, Roost or Morning Sun. Otherwise, its fine.

Arcanine does not need Agility IMO. Replace that with Crunch or Iron Head, or possibly Thunder Fang, but that isn't recommended due to its low BP. Extremespeed over Return IMO, gives you priority, bypassing its mediocre speed.

Camerput is crap. End of story. Replace that with another sweeper. Use Tangrowth.

Tangrowth @ Life Orb
Ability: Chlorophyll
Nature: Naive (+Spe, -SpD)
EV's: 200 Atk / 80 SpA / 228 Spe
- Power Whip
- Earthquake
- Hidden Power Fire
- SolarBeam

This thing is like the Kingdra of UU. Full stop.

Exeggutor is fine, though replace Wish with Hidden Power Fire.

Replace Slowbro, Calm Minding is a waste of your precious sun time. You need a secondary Sunny Day supporter. GIVE IT HEAT ROCK THIS TIME!

Shiftry is fine, though Faint Attack is not. IMO, the SunnyBeamer set on Smogon is better, although the current on is still usable.

Just a heads up, you can edit your original post and bump your old thread instead of posting an entirely new topic with a couple of changes. It stops the RMT section from being bombarded, but importantly, it lets you chronicle any development of your team.

I already stated my reasoning for Ominous Wind being desolate on Moltres. If you want a stat-upping move, you're better off with AncientPower to hit other fire-types and opposing Moltres.

Camerupt is the first thing you changed in. It's interesting, but as a supporter for this team it is pretty underwhelming. If you're going to use Camerupt, I think it would probably be better with Rock Polish / Earth Power or Solarbeam / Lava Plume or Fire Blast / Explosion. If you want something more defensively oriented to set up rocks I'd be inclined to use something like Steelix, who can bait fire attacks for Arcanine or water attacks to bring in your Chlorophyll sweepers. This also offers some great protection against the likes of Swellow, who can sweep you easily if you don't have the sun up. For that reason, I also think you should be using Extremespeed on Arcanine and switch out Agility. Even something like Toxic or Will-O-Wisp works great on Arcanine to cripple counters early on. Registeel is another option to buff up your special defences of the team, since they are frankly quite weak.

Most of my suggestions (and good suggestions by other members) were posted in your other topic, which is what you should be responding to.
