Decidueye @ Decidium Z
Ability: Overgrow
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Spirit Shackle
- Leaf Blade
- Shadow Sneak

Thanks to its Ghost typing, Swords Dance, and Shadow Sneak, Decidueye is able to turn the tables against Psychic-type teams, which are otherwise hard matchups for Grass-type teams to face. Decidueye is able to take on threats to Grass teams such as Victini and Mega Gallade after a Swords Dance boost with its STAB Shadow Sneak. It is not limited to improving the Psychic-type matchup, as after a Swords Dance boost, Decidium Z allows it to break through troublesome walls for Grass teams such as Celesteela, Toxapex, and Zapdos. If the team already has a Z-Move user, then Spooky Plate can be used to increase the power of Decidueye's Ghost-type moves. Decidueye pairs well with the hazard-stacking core of Ferrothorn and Cradily, as Decidueye can spinblock against Bug-type teams. Choice Scarf Tapu Bulu is a good teammate, as it can revenge kill faster threats such as Mega Charizard Y and Volcarona and provide Decidueye with Grassy Terrain support as passive recovery, helping it to set up Swords Dance more easily.

- mention in the sneak line that it takes those on really when it has a swords dance boost, kinda weak without it even against Psychic-types.
- you talk about 4 teammates, thats 2 much time spent on teammates. cut it down, perhaps just the hazard stacking core and bulu
- jolly is the better nature since it can outspeed like band dnite etc

Decidueye @ Decidium Z
Ability: Long Reach (any reason this is Long Reach over Overgrow? just personally curious since the in-progress analysis has Overgrow on the set)
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Swords Dance
- Spirit Shackle
- Leaf Blade
- Shadow Sneak

Thanks to its Ghost typing, (RH) Swords Dance, (AC) and Shadow Sneak, Decidueye is able to turn the tables against Psychic-type teams, (AC) which is are otherwise a hard matchups for Grass-type teams to face. Decidueye is able to take on threats to Grass teams such as Victini and Mega Gallade after a Swords Dance boost with its STAB Shadow Sneak. It is not limited at to improving the Psychic-type matchup, (AC, Removed space in match up) as after a Swords Dance boost, (AC) Decidium Z allows it to wallbreak break through (wallbreak through walls sounded redundant) troublesome walls for Grass teams such as Celesteela, Toxapex, (AC) and Zapdos. If the team already has a Z-Move user, (AC) than then Spooky Plate can be used to increase the power of its Decidueye's Ghost-type moves. It Decidueye pairs well with the hazard-stacking (AH) core of Ferrothorn and Cradily, (AC) as Decidueye can spinblock hazards against Bug-type teams.
