Defense

I spent a while making this team, This will be for competitor though I might pick up a ds and Diamond or Pearl. I wanted to make a defensive team and I would like to see if I succeeded into making one that can handle most threats at least adequately well. I am not the best at getting the best ev spreads so help in that regard would be great

Threat List
Tyrannitar: Can only switch in on Blissey Those CB tar crunches will hurt but with prediction I should be able to get around him, Swampert and Hippo Tag team on him

Infernape: I have him well covered, Special versions die to manaphy and Blissey if it doesnt have in fight and physical ones go down to the hippo or pert

Salamence: Cannot really Switch into anything as I have an ice move on every pokemon Stealth rock also doesnt help him

Togekiss: Can be dealt with CM blissey or metagross onslaught, Grass ropeless ones are countered by Swampert and Hippo

Rhysuperior : He cant switch into anything but blissey and For the CB I resist or am immune from his main stab Attacks

Electivire: Hard to counter but without a grass move it gets much easier. It will be hard for them to switch in except on Blissey

Heracross: Countered by Gliscor

Gengar: It depends on the set I will have to watch out for will o wisps, Blissey can take on Special based ones, Without will o wisp it will be much easier to deal with

Garchomp: See salamence Can only switch in on blissey but wont stand to sweep for long

Raikou: Blissey walls this effectively, Gliscor can take out hp grass and swamper can take out hp ice versions

Lucario will be tough to deal with Reversalling versions but Gliscor should be able to take a reversal and KO with earthquake, Other lucario can only really switch in on Blissey

Rampardos: Wont survive for long with many stab Earthquakes going around combined with 3 rock resists.

Tauros: Metagross is my only normal resist but Tauros shouldnt be finding too many opportunities to come in

Starmie: Will be tough to counter grass rope versions but Blissey walls this effectively as I can hope for.

Weavile: will pose problems when switched into blissey, Specifically Pursuiting CB versions other then that I think I can take care of it with metagross and pert

Dugtrio: will be a little pest if it takes out blissey but Ice beam should keep it from coming in on anything other then a blissey in the KO range. It will also have the ability to revenge kill metagross if it is at low health. Wont be able to switch in directly though.

Alakazam: Not worried much cannot switch in really only tricking choice glasses worries me and taking those CG focus bombs

PorygonZ: Trouble switching in if it tough to take on when it does though and gets off a scheme

Medicham: Can only switch in on blissey really, Not too worried about him though

Staraptor: Flying types will have trouble with this team

Slowbro: Blissey takes care of slowbrow Manaphy also deals with Slowbro who carry Grassrope.

Jolteon: Blissey Walls as well as anything

Aerodactyl: Swampert and Hippo Take care of it and Metagross brings in back up

Snorlax: Constant physical beatings should take care of him

Zapdos: Walled by Blissey Ice moves and stealth rock limit its chances to switch in.

Blissey: Only manaphy has to worry about getting rid of blissey

Suicune: Thunderpunch from metagross hurts, Manaphy tail glow energy balls hurt Calm mind versions without roar can be dealt with with blissey,

Sceptile: It is a problem and it is tough to deal with since there are alot of easy swicth ins for it

Slaking: Normal Resist, Fighting resist Blissey is at risk of CB pursuit though

Ninjask: Not too worried about it passing speed, because metagross should mess up anything that gets the BPed speed

Metagross: Stab earthquakes and pert resisting it keep it at bay. Exploding will take out a pokemon though

Celebi: Able to come in on alot of things Gliscor should and metagross should be able to hit it hard with their stab moves

Jirachi: Stab earthquakes will hurt it from the hippo and pert and gliscor

Manaphy: Blissey should be able to keep it at Bay it will be tough to keep it out Energy ball versions will pose a problem

I'm impressed you actually went through and typed out all the threats, but that isn't necesarry at all, as I hope I made clear in my announcement. It looks pretty solid, though Wish, without Protect, on a Modest, 675HP Blissey, in a self-imposed Sandstorm, may end it sooner than you think. I'm really not sure Blissey can get away with Wish without Protect, not in a Sandstorm. You literally will not have time to Wish when you switch into a Azelf's Scheme, and Azelf will effectively 3HKO you thanks to Sandstorm if its Timid, and will 3HKO you period Modest. I know you want it to be a team player, but its selflessness will end up killing it and probably the rest of your team more often than it helps.

This is exactly the second-level kind of thinking I hope we can get to, though, skipping past the more obvious one that pervaded RMTs in the past month or so.

Thanks I changed my Ev's, On Blissey I can think up a more defensive spread since it doesnt really need that much special attack.

I was trying to have a chance to OKHO Duggy but it seems to detract from blisseys overall purpose So I changed those EV's

How exactly is Scizor going to go through my team I just dont see it really

I won't say it will run through it but it will be tough to stop sometimes. Its defense makes it easy to set up on your team it looks like. It might get agility or swords dance up and then be troublesome.

Well it shouldnt be that bad I am pretty sure it will at least get 3HKOd by my team. It could pass 2 sword dances so I guess I will have to watch out for that when it comes in.
