Hey everyone. This is a team I'm actually super proud of, but I have realized that it has its issues. I managed to ladder up from the low 1400s into the 1600s with this squad as it evolved to what you see now. Hopefully you guys can help me out and make it better!
The Team

Altaria-Mega @ Altarianite
Ability: Pixilate
EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 60 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Hyper Voice
- Fire Blast
- Heal Bell
- Roost
The first mon and my favourite mega. Dragon/Fairy is awesome defensive typing and I wanted to capitalize on that. This set can come in on Weavile, M-Lopunny, Specs Keldeo, M-Sableye and any variant of T-Tar. Heal Bell allows me to keep my team healthy and Fire Blast allows me to 2HKO Ferrothorn which can be a little annoying for the physical attackers on the team.

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Lava Plume
- Taunt
- Toxic
- Stealth Rock
Heatran pairs extremely well with Altaria and resists all its weaknesses. I originally was using a spread of 252 HP / 208 Spd / 48 Spe but switched to this spread after seeing it on the Smogon Dex and preferred it. Heatran walls all variants of Clefable, and helps me cover a relatively huge Fire weakness.

Landorus-Therian @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
- U-turn
- Knock Off
Nothing unique about this set. Lando and Tran are an amazing pair and I find myself using some variant of them on most my teams. Scarf Lando allows me to help keep momentum and can sometimes catch my opponents by surprise when they aren't expecting it. I ran Adamant scarf for a while but ultimately switched to Jolly for the added speed which I was lacking.

Bisharp @ Dread Plate
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Knock Off
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Pursuit
I needed something that could come in and deal with Latios/Latias. Altaria walls them but Bisharp kills them and after a Defiant boost will generally sweep through teams. I decided to go with max speed since, overall, this team is pretty slow and any extra speed helps in the long run. I tried SD over Pursuit for a few battles but opted for this set due to how well it deals with Psychics.

Breloom @ Focus Sash
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Spore
- Mach Punch
- Bullet Seed
- Rock Tomb
Breloom is here to deal with the bulky waters (Rotom-W and Azu) that the others have trouble taking down. I went with a sash to guarantee the Spore getting off, or if I'm lucky, a knocking out Talonflame with Rock Tomb if it is still intact. Mach Punch scares off opposing Bisharps and can pick off weaker mons that don't resist. Max speed is used for the same reason as Bisharp.

Jirachi @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Serene Grace
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Iron Head
- U-turn
- Healing Wish
- Heart Stamp
Last but not least is the scarf Jirachi. I'm using dual scarfers since this team's average speed is about 80. Jirachi acts as a 2nd revenge killer, and a 2nd fairy resist. Without Rachi I run the risk of M-Gardevoir or Sylveon blowing through my team with ease. Heart Stamp is used over Ice/Fire Punch since Ferrothorn/Dragons aren't a huge issue for this team. It also has the same flinch chance as Iron Head and perfect accuracy which makes it better than Zen Headbutt in my opinion.
Conclusion
Like I said before, I love this team, but I am not blind to it's weaknesses. SD Talonflame has to be played around in-order to take down, and Fairies walk right through when Heatran and Rachi are gone. Thanks for the advice!
