[SET COMMENTS]
Lunala utilizes its huge bulk, Ghost typing, and its ability Shadow Shield to be a strong physically defensive pivot. Will-O-Wisp is used to cripple physical attackers such as Urshifu-R, Dragonite, and Great Tusk. Alternatively, Future Sight is used to apply pressure on targets such as non-Gyaradosite Pecharunt, Eternatus, and Iron Moth. Teleport lets Lunala keep momentum, with 0 Spe IVs making its pivoting as slow as possible. Rocky Helmet allows Lunala to passively chip any physical attacker making contact, and is especially useful in wearing down Urshifu-R clicking Surging Strikes. Heavy-Duty Boots allow Lunala to maintain its Shadow Shield more consistently when hazards are up. While Covert Cloak makes Lunala a better check to Garganacl and Entei. Lunala fits well on balance and bulky offense structures with strong hazard control to maintain its Shadow Shield. Due to this, good partners for Lunala are Great Tusk, Regieleki, and Sablenite users such as Garganacl, Mandibuzz, Corviknight, and Magearna. Due to Lunala's 4x weakness to Dark and Ghost, it appreciates having strong answers to both types in teammates such as Kingambit, Darkrai, Samurott-Hisui, and Magearna. Lunala struggles to check Aerodactylite Zamazenta due to its access to Crunch, and therefore appreciates offensive partners such as Dragonite or Regieleki to be able to revenge KO with Extreme Speed, or defensive partners such as Pinsirite Great Tusk who can soft check and threaten with super effective damage. Strong Fighting types such as Zamazenta, Metagrossite Great Tusk, Urshifu-R, Lopunnite Iron Boulder, Entei, and Hisuian-Arcanine have great synergy with Lunala's ability to use Future Sight and Teleport, and apply great pressure to the Dark and Steel types that attempt to sponge Future Sight. Previously mentioned Dark types such as Kingambit, Darkrai, and Samurott-Hisui also have strong offensive synergy with Lunala and the aformentioned Fighting-types, as they wear down Ghost-type foes such as Non-Gyaradosite Pecharunt, Arceus-Ghost, and Non-Audinite Spectrier.

Lunala utilizes its large HP stat huge bulk, ghost Ghost typing, and its ability Shadow Shield to be a strong physically defensive pivot. Lunala has three items to choose from, these being: Rocky Helmet, Heavy-Duty Boots, and Covert Cloak. Rocky Helmet allows Lunala to passively chip any physical attacker making contact, and is especially useful in wearing down Urshifu-R clicking Surging Strikes. Heavy-Duty Boots allow Lunala to maintain its Shadow Shield more consistently when hazards are up. (RFP) Finally, while Covert Cloak makes Lunala a better check to Garganacl and Entei, as Covert Cloak ignores the secondary affects of Salt Cure and Sacred Fire. Lunala fits well on balance and bulky offense structures with strong hazard control to maintain its Shadow Shield. Due to this, good partners for Lunala are Great Tusk, Regieleki, and/or Garganacl Sablenite users such as (Add examples of defensive Sablenite users). Due to Lunala's 4x weakness to Dark and Ghost, it appreciates having strong answers to both types in teammates such as the Garganacl, Kingambit, Darkrai, Samurott-Hisui, and/or Magearna (Avoid using “and/or”, and consider splitting this into two separate sentences for better clarity. Personally, I wouldn’t classify Garganacl as a Ghost check, but that’s ultimately your call.). Lunala struggles to check Zamazenta after its Shadow Shield is broken, as Crunch is an OHKO, and because of this wants due to its access to Crunch, and therefore appreciates offensive partners such as Dragonite or Regieleki to be able to revenge KO with Extreme Speed (What about Iron Defense Aggronite Zamazenta? It might be slightly less troublesome and somewhat less likely to use Crunch, but it can still pose a threat to Lunala, right?). The aforementioned defensive Great Tusk is another valuable partner as it is able to be a soft check to all-out-attacking Zamazenta variants and deal super effective damage with Body Slam or Rapid Spin. (You probably don’t need an entirely new sentence just to mention a soft check to a specific set of an opponent; consider incorporating this point into the previous sentence instead.) Strong Fighting types such as Zamazenta or and Great Tusk (You could add a few more examples like Urshifu or Lop Boulder. Entei and Harc also seem to have strong synergy with Future Sight since they can threaten both Dark- and Steel-types.) have great synergy with Lunala's ability to use Future Sight and Teleport, and help check the Dark types that Lunala struggles against. Previously mentioned Dark types such as Kingambit, Darkrai, and Samurott-Hisui also have a strong offensive synergy with Lunala and Zamazenta/Great Tusk the aformentioned Fighting-types, as they wear down Ghost-type foes such as Non-Gyaradosite Pecharunt, Arceus-Ghost, and Non-Audinite Spectrier the ladder are not able to check (???).
