[SET COMMENTS]
Sinistcha is able to check key metagame threats such as Ogerpon-W, Great Tusk, Garganacl, and Zamazenta among others thanks to its suitable defensive typing for the metagame in tandem with its signature move Matcha Gotcha, which also works well with its other STAB option in Hex. Strength Sap functions as recovery while preventing notable 2HKOs from threats like Hisuian Samurott, Rillaboom, and Meowscarada. Foul Play is ran to punish physical setup sweepers like Ogerpon-W and Dragonite, using their own attacking power against them. Stun Spore can be ran instead to paralyze faster threats like Iron Valiant and Cinderace, making it easier for its offensive teammates to revenge kill them, and synergizes well with Hex by letting it net 2HKOs against bulkier Pokemon that would otherwise have no problem staying in on it like Galarian Slowking and Moltres. Heavy-Duty Boots is ran to avoid the repeated entry hazard damage it may sustain from switching in constantly, but Rocky Helmet is worth a mention because it lets Sinistcha punish U-turn from Pokemon like Cinderace, Landorus-T, and Rillaboom, as well as Knock Off attempts from the aforementioned Rillaboom, Great Tusk, and Iron Treads. 96 Speed EVs allow Sinistcha to outspeed Adamant Kingambit and Ursaluna. Tera Poison is a great defensive Tera type that lets Sinistcha check Pokemon like Iron Valiant, Iron Moth, and Gliscor and avoid Toxic. Tera Fairy is an alternative option Sinistcha can run to better check Dark-type attackers like Roaring Moon and Hisuian Samurott.

Sinistcha fits best on fat entry hazard stacking balance and stall teams as a spinblocker and on sand teams as a check to Grass- and Water-types. Hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Gliscor, Hisuian Samurott, and Clodsire work well with it; they can set up hazards and Sinistcha prevents Great Tusk from removing them. Great Tusk itself is a good teammate, since it can keep hazards off for Sinistcha, which will inevitably get its Heavy-Duty Boots removed, since most of the Pokemon it checks carry Knock Off; Great Tusk also checks Kingambit for it. Sinistcha is able to support Great Tusk by checking Grass- and Water-type threats like Ogerpon-W, Rillaboom, and Primarina. Weavile is a great partner for Sinistcha as well, since it's able to threaten a lot of Sinistcha's checks like Galarian Slowking, Gliscor, Raging Bolt, and Clodsire, and in return, Sinistcha is able to threaten bulky Water-types it has trouble breaking through like Alomomola, Primarina, and Dondozo. Galarian Slowking works well with Sinistcha, since it's able to take care of Kyurem and can also spread status, making Sinistcha's Hex more dangerous, while Sinistcha checks the Ground-types that threaten it like Great Tusk and Landorus-T. Toxapex is worth a mention on more defensive teams as a check to dangerous special attackers like Iron Valiant and Iron Moth. On sand teams, Sinistcha holds a valuable role as a check to Zamazenta and Grass- and Water-types like Ogerpon-W, Dondozo, and Rillaboom for Tyranitar and Excadrill; these Pokemon often stop Excadrill from sweeping. Tyranitar is able to function as a check to strong special threats that can crack Sinistcha open such as Kyurem, Iron Moth, and Dragapult, and Excadrill threatens offensive threats that can batter through Sinistcha's strong physical bulk like Roaring Moon and Weavile. Corviknight works well with Sinistcha as extra insurance against Ground-types and as a way to check Roaring Moon without the need to burn Tera. Stall teams also appreciate Sinistcha's unique ability to check Ogerpon-W and Ursaluna, since other checks like Corviknight and Dondozo often get overwhelmed. Blissey and Clodsire are amazing teammates for Sinistcha on stall teams because of their unmatched ability to wall special attackers like Raging Bolt, Darkrai, and Dragapult. Alomomola can pass Wish to keep Sinistcha alive more reliably, and Sinistcha can handle Ogerpon-W, which Alomomola greatly appreciates.

The tea with Sinistcha is it's a physically defensive wall that is able to check key metagame threats such as Ogerpon-W, Great Tusk, Garganacl, and Zamazenta, among others thanks to its suitable defensive typing for the metagame in tandem with its helpful ability in Heatproof. Might be worth mentioning something about Strength Sap allowing it to prevent 2hkos/1v1 notable targets even through coverage moves. Foul Play is ran to more effectively punish physical setup sweepers like Ogerpon-W and Dragonite instead of fishing for unreliable Matcha Gotcha burns or spamming Strength Sap, using their own attacking power against them. Stun Spore can be ran instead to paralyze faster threats like Iron Valiant and Cinderace, making it easier for its offensive teammates to revenge kill them. Stun Spore, and to a lesser extent Matcha Gotcha, both synergize well with Hex and let it net 2HKOs against bulkier Pokemon who would otherwise have no problem staying in on it like Galarian Slowking and Moltres. Move information about Hex / Matcha Gotcha to in front of foul play to match the order of moves in the set. Heavy-Duty Boots is ran to avoid the repeated hazard damage it may sustain from switching in constantly, but Rocky Helmet is worth a mention because it lets Sinistcha punish U-turn attempts from Pokemon like Cinderace, Landorus-T, and Rillaboom probably worth mentioning punishing knock off as well since tusk and treads will often knock on switch in. 96 Speed EVs allow Sinistcha to outspeed Adamant Kingambit and Ursaluna. Tera Poison is a generally great defensive typing that lets Sinistcha check Pokemon like Iron Valiant, Iron Moth, and Gliscor and avoid toxic. Tera Fairy is an alternative option Sinistcha can run to better check Dark-type attackers like Roaring Moon and Hisuian Samurott.

Sinistcha fits best on hazard stacking teams, semistalls, and balances Corv, Blissey, Quagsire, Clodsire, Zapdos top teammates. as a spinblocker and on sand teams as a check to Grass- and Water-types. Sinistcha's typing lets it block Rapid Spin from Great Tusk while also shrugging off its super effective coverage moves in Knock Off and Ice Spinner. Hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Clodsire, Gliscor #1 teammate and Hisuian Samurott work well with it because of that; they can set up hazards and Sinistcha blocks Great Tusk from removing it. Great Tusk itself is a good teammate since it can keep hazards off for Sinistcha, who will inevitably get its Heavy-Duty Boots removed since most of the Pokemon it checks carry Knock Off, and also checks Kingambit for it. Weavile is a great partner for Sinistcha on these teams It's probably worth identifying which partners are good for offensive structures and which ones are good for more balanced/semistall structures as well since it's able to threaten a lot of its checks like Galarian Slowking, Clodsire, and Raging Bolt, and in return Sinistcha is able to threaten bulky Water-types it has trouble breaking through like Alomomola and Dondozo. Galarian Slowking works well with Sinistcha since it's able to take care of Kyurem and Primarina for it and can also spread status, making Sinistcha's Hex more dangerous, while Sinistcha checks the Ground-types that threaten it like Great Tusk and Landorus-T. Add in a mention of Toxapex here, which is a top teammate with a similar role but on more defensive teams. On sand teams, Sinistcha holds a valuable role as a check to Zamazenta and Grass- and Water-types like Ogerpon-W, Dondozo, and Rillaboom for Tyranitar and Excadrill, Pokemon that can often stop Excadrill from sweeping due to resisting STAB moves, immense physical bulk, or strong priority. Tyranitar is able to function as a check to strong special threats who can crack Sinistcha open such as Kyurem, Iron Moth, and Dragapult, and Excadrill punishes offensive threats who can batter through Sinistcha's strong physical bulk like Roaring Moon and Weavile. Corviknight works well with Sinistcha as extra insurance against Ground-types and as a way to beat Roaring Moon without the need to burn Tera. Stall teams also appreciate Sinistcha's unique ability to check Ursaluna, since other checks like Corviknight and Dondozo are much flimsier in comparison. Add more info on defensive teammates like: Clodsire, Alomomola, Blissey. For example clodsire and blissey handle special attackers which Sinistcha is weak to, Alomomola can pass wishes and help check physical mons, and likes Ogerpon-w being handled by Sinistcha. This is especially prevalent right now since there is one Quagsire stall team that is making up almost 20% of sinistcha usage on ladder.

Weavile's also able to immediately threaten Gliscor, who can make substantial progress against balance teams due to their more passive nature and Poison Heal making it immune to any status conditions balance teams employ to whittle down defensive Pokemon. Galarian Slowking works well with Sinistcha on balance teams since it's able to take care of Kyurem and Primarina for it and can also spread status, making Sinistcha's Hex more dangerous, while Sinistcha checks the Ground-types that threaten it like Great Tusk and Landorus-T. Maybe a little mention of how matcha gatcha and hex work well together? this is optional tho so Strength Sap functions as recovery that allows it to prevent while preventing notable 2HKOs from threats like Hisuian Samurott, Rillaboom, and Choice Scarf Landorus-T don't think this is as notable as the other two, can you find a different example?. Foul Play is ran to more effectively punish physical setup sweepers like Ogerpon-W and Dragonite instead of fishing for unreliable Matcha Gotcha burns or spamming Strength Sap imo this isn't really necessary + it kinda makes sinistcha sound bad and we can't slander sinistcha here, using their own attacking power against them. Stun Spore can be ran instead to paralyze faster threats like Iron Valiant and Cinderace, making it easier for its offensive teammates to revenge kill them, and synergizes well with Hex by letting it net 2HKOs against bulkier Pokemon who would otherwise have no problem staying in on it like Galarian Slowking and Moltres.

Sinistcha fits best on hazard stacking teams, semistalls, really not a fan of semistall mention + its pretty niche, you can talk about stall (which its much more common on) instead but i would move it below the balance mention and balances as a spinblocker and on sand teams as a check to Grass- and Water-types. Sinistcha's typing lets it block Rapid Spin from Great Tusk while also shrugging off its super effective coverage moves in Knock Off and Ice Spinner. how does being grass ghost help you shrug off super effective hits? maybe rephrase it a little to say "and its moves allow it to shrug off" or wtv Hazard setters like Ting-Lu, Clodsire, as much as i love clodsire its definitely the most niche of its teammates so move it below hamurott and gliscor in mentions Gliscor and Hisuian Samurott work well with it because of that; they can set up hazards and Sinistcha blocks Great Tusk from removing it. Great Tusk itself is a good teammate since it can keep hazards off for Sinistcha, who will inevitably get its Heavy-Duty Boots removed since most of the Pokemon it checks carry Knock Off, and also checks Kingambit for it anything sinistcha does in return? say, checking those pesky grass and water threats like primarina ogerpon-forms rillaboom etc etc etc. Weavile is a great partner for Sinistcha on balance teams as well since it's able to threaten a lot of its checks like Galarian Slowking, Clodsire, swap raging and clod for similar reasons as above and Raging Bolt, and in return Sinistcha is able to threaten bulky Water-types it has trouble breaking through like Alomomola, Primarina, and Dondozo. Weavile's also able to immediately threaten Gliscor, who can make substantial progress against balance teams due to their more passive nature and Poison Heal making it immune to any status conditions balance teams employ to whittle down defensive Pokemon how is this relevant to sinistcha? idc if balance gets 6-0ed by gliscor i only care how sinistcha struggles into gliscor. Galarian Slowking works well with Sinistcha on balance teams since it's able to take care of Kyurem and Primarina for it is primarina really such a big threat to sinistcha? and can also spread status, making Sinistcha's Hex more dangerous, while Sinistcha checks the Ground-types that threaten it like Great Tusk and Landorus-T. Toxapex is worth a mention on more defensive teams as a check to dangerous special attackers like Iron Valiant, and Iron Moth, and the aforementioned Primarina same comment as above who can absorb Toxic Spikes is this relevant since its usually running boots anyways. On sand teams, Sinistcha holds a valuable role as a check to Zamazenta and Grass- and Water-types like Ogerpon-W, Dondozo, and Rillaboom for Tyranitar and Excadrill, Pokemon that can often stop Excadrill from sweeping due to resisting STAB moves, immense physical bulk, or strong priority think this is all common sense ngl, good point but doesn't need this much elaboration. Tyranitar is able to function as a check to strong special threats who can crack Sinistcha open such as Kyurem, Iron Moth, and Dragapult, and Excadrill punishes threatens this bum is not punishing anything offensive threats who can batter through Sinistcha's strong physical bulk like Roaring Moon and Weavile. Corviknight works well with Sinistcha as extra insurance against Ground-types and as a way to beat check you dont really beat since its unreliable (fuck you taunt) Roaring Moon without the need to burn Tera. Stall teams also appreciate Sinistcha's unique ability to check Ogerpon-W and Ursaluna the waterpon mu is much, much more important for stall, since other checks like Corviknight and Dondozo are much flimsier in comparison due to being needed to check its teammates often get overwhelmed. Clodsire and Blissey Blissey and Clodsire honestly haven't even seen clod used with sinistcha yet but wtv its theoretically good are amazing teammates for Sinistcha on stall teams because of their unmatched ability to check wall special attackers Sinistcha is weak to like Raging Bolt, Darkrai, and Dragapult. Alomomola can pass Wish to keep Sinistcha alive more reliably and Sinistcha can handle Ogerpon-W, which Alomomola greatly appreciates.
