Desert Trick

Release the Desert Trick

This is a PBR team that works well in either 2v2 or 1v1.

So far it has given me a nice winning streak of 26-2!

Bronzong (Forge)
@Lum Berry
Ability: Levitate
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/252 DEF/6 Sp Def
>Trick Room
>Stealth Rock
>Hypnosis
>Gyro Ball

Just because he's first in-line doesn't make him my starter - keep this in mind. He sets up Trick Room, works well w/ support moves and kills Weavile and Froslass w/ Gyro Ball. Now, before you start to say, "A Gyarados could completely ruin your whole TR strategy with Taunt," take a peek a the next set.

Tyrannitar (Ballista)
@Life Orb
Ability: Sandstream
Nature: Quiet
EVs: 252 HP/6 DEF/252 SP ATT
>Dark Pulse
>Ice Beam
>Thunderbolt
>Focus Punch

I used to have a Hippowdon S.Stream starter, but I have grown to love Special T-Tar. He is a wonderful starter, especially if the opponent has a Gyarados or Crobat that intends to use Taunt on Bronzong (who appears to be the starter for Trick Room), but instead Gyara surprises it with a OHKO Thunderbolt. Life Orb for move versatility and Focus Punch for Blissey or switches.

Empoleon (Imperator)
@Chesto Berry
Ability: Torrent
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 252 HP/6 SP ATT/252 SP DEF
>Hydro Pump
>Ice Beam
>Grass Knot
>Rest

This guy's special walling abilities are commonly underestimated, and they work perfectly for my team. He absorbs all the water/ice moves thrown at my other Pokes and can heal nicely w/ Rest+Chesto Berry. (Keep in mind Item Clause is in effect).

Armaldo (Scimitar)
@Muscle Band
Ability: Battle Armor
Nature: Brave
EVs: 210 HP/48 DEF/252 ATT
>Rock Slide/Stone Edge
>X-Scissor
>Swords Dance
>Rapid Spin/Protect

This guy shines in a Sandstorm TR combo. He can survive strong special and physical attacks, while Sword Dancing and sweeping, and also providing support w/ Rapid Spin. Rock Slide for doubles, Stone Edge for singles.

Heatran (Pyroblast)
@Choice Specs
Ability: Flash Fire
Nature: Quiet
EVs: 252 HP/6 DEF/252 SP ATT
>Heat Wave
>Dragon Pulse
>Dark Pulse
>Earth Power

Here is my main Special Sweeper. He can switch into fire moves thrown at Bronzong and then devastate teams with a powered-up Heat Wave. Switch back to Bronzong if a EQ user comes in.

Dusknoir (Sabotage)
@Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
Nature: Sassy
EVs: 252 HP/76 DEF/180 SPDEF
>Trick Room
>Will-o-wisp
>Pain Split
>Shadow Sneak

My other TR set-up Poke. Will-o-wisp for phys attackers, heal w/ Pain Split and Shadow Sneak for the surprise factor. Works really well and Lefties are essential b/c of Sandstorm.

Any comments welcome.
