Well I have started Shoddy recently, and have been using essentially my ingame team, it has been working OK but I think it needs something small to make it much better. I think that it needs something to deal with Gyarados better, as well as Scizor, there is also Skymin but I do believe that it will become Uber soon. I don't have much (any) reliable recovery so I think that I may need a WishPasser. Here it is:
Machamp@ Choice Scarf
Trait: No Guard
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Dynamich Punch
Stone Edge
Thunder Punch
Ice Punch
I love this lead, it gets a lot of surprise kills and forces a lot of switches early on so I end up knowing a lot of my opponents team.
Salamence@ Choice Specs
Trait: Intimidate
Nature: Modest (maybe Timid?)
EVs: 252 SAtk, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Draco Meteor
Dragon Pulse
Flamethrower
Hydro Pump
With the use of the standard Specsmence lowering this thing is a beauty: switch in, kill something and switch out.
Empoleon@ Leftovers
Trait: Torrent
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP, 252 SDef, 6 Spd (worth more than 1 point in any other stat)
Surf
Ice Beam
Grass Knot
Stealth Rock
Works very well with Mence resistance-wise, and I don't know why people don't see Grass Knot coming.
Donphan@ Leftovers
Trait: Sturdy (*shudders*)
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Spd
Earthquake
Ice Shard
Knock Off
Rapid Spin
My desperately needed Spinner who covers pretty much every physical threat for me barring Gyarados and Kingra.
Dusknoir@ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP, 130 Atk, 128 SDef
Will-O-Wisp
Pain Split
Shadow Sneak
Earthquake
Believe it or not Earthquake works fantastically with my Dusknoir, many surprise kills on Heatran and Lucario, has Charizard problems but not much else.
Weavile@ Focus Sash
Trait: Pressure
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Spd, 252 Atk, 6 HP
Night Slash
Ice Punch
Pursuit
Brick Break
My revenge killer essentially, also assists Machamp greatly as a lead (Gengars and especially Azelfs), Focus Sash really helps, mainly as it is not standard.
