Destination Destruction! [OU RMT]

Destination Destruction!

INTRO--
Welcome peeps to my first Rate My Team here in Smogon Forums. So I'll be showing you guys a team I've been using for a month now. I've tested it and tweaked it a bit but I still need some changes. The type coverage is great. I can counter most Pokemon with this team. So let's go on.

THE TEAM--

1. Lead

breloom.png
Breloom
@ Toxic Orb

Ability: Toxic Heal
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Attack/252 Speed/4 HP
Moves:

  • Spore
  • Seed Bomb
  • Superpower
  • Stone Edge
A fast lead with Choice Scarf. It works by Sporing the lead while it regularly sets up and switching to a Pokemon that can set up while he sleeps soundly. This helps alot in supporting a sweep from my Pokemon. It's cool but there are some that counter this set such as Pokemon that don't set up,Choice Scarfers and Baton Passing Ninjask. Pokemon that outspeed it also ends the terror.

2. Special Sweeper

latias.png
Latias
@ Leftovers

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Special Attack/252 Speed/4 HP
Moves:

  • Calm Mind
  • Dragon Pulse
  • Surf
  • Recover
A Latias used for my Special Sweeper. It has a nice typing so not much can 1HKO or even 2HKO it. When I have the chance, I Calm Mind to do more destruction. Nice Special Sweeper since it has high stats.

3. Special Sweeper

mismagius.png
Mismagius @ Leftovers

Ability: Levitate
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 Speed/208 Special Attack/48 HP
Moves:

  • Substitute
  • Nasty Plot
  • Shadow Ball
  • Thunderbolt
This is another Special Sweeper in my team. It's ability and type makes it a counter to ground, fighting and normal types. While my opponent switches, I substitute and have enough time to Nasty Plot. Its high speed stat makes it outspeed many Pokemon, usually sweeps. I use ThunderBolt since I think it's more effective than Hidden Power Fighting. Most Normal Pokemon aren't a problem.

5. Sweeper

gyarados.png
Gyarados @ Leftovers

Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 4 Defense/252 Attack/252 Speed
Moves:

  • Dragon Dance
  • Waterfall
  • Stone Edge
  • Substitute
This Gyarados is my Sweeper. Awesome with Substitute, since it would scare most Pokemon away when I switch it in. When the opponent's busy breaking the Substitute, I will Dragon Dance and outspeed him later. Cool Sweeper. Just epuc.

5. Mixed Wall

suicune.png
Suicune @ Leftovers

Ability: Pressure
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP/252 Defense/4 Special Attack
Moves:

  • Roar
  • Calm Mind
  • Surf
  • Rest
Suicune is a Calm Mind Shuffler here. Saves me from MANY Pokemon. It stops a fully loaded Salamence from sweeping, Bullet Punching Scizor, and etc. using Roar. I think it's a great addition to the team, considering it gets my opponents irritated with Rest.

6. Wall
forretress.png
Forretress @ Leftovers

Ability: Sturdy
Nature: Relaxed
EVs: 252 HP/112 Attack/144 Defense
Moves:

  • Rapid Spin
  • Payback
  • Spikes
  • Toxic Spikes
This goes very well with Suicune. Scaring away Pokemon that can't finish it off, I spikes and spikes again if I have the chance. Payback is used against Ghost types who stop it from Rapid Spinning

Conclusion--
So this is the end of the RMT. Please rate it as I would really appreciate it. I'll also check if I can insert some suggestions you might suggest. Rate it..immediately :o

I'm not sure if your descriptions are long enough. You should make them longer or it might get locked.

That Breloom doesn't work as a lead. It's way too slow and any faster opponent can easily defeat it. Azelf, Infernape, Heatran, Roserade, and Gliscor will all end Breloom easily. If you want a Breloom lead, it needs to be Scarfed to outspeed opponents and put them to sleep:

Breloom @Choice Scarf
4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly Nature
-Spore
-Superpower
-Seed Bomb
-Stone Edge

Latias needs to be Timid in order to outspeed Infernape and Salamence who run max Speed.

Feraligatr doesn't work as well in OU as it does in UU. In UU, it doesn't have to worry about Dragons on every team since the only Dragon is Altaria, who is rare and Feraligatr can easily handle. In OU, Latias and Salamence are on practically every team and can defeat it before it can use Ice Punch. It also has to worry about opponent Water types like Starmie, Vaporeon, and Gyarados.
Speaking of Gyarados, it outclasses Feraligatr as a physical sweeper so use that instead.

Suicune needs Rest. Without rest, it can't take repeated hits and Toxic ruins its ability to wall. Replace Ice Beam or Roar for Rest.

Miltank isn't as good of a Curse sweeper as Snorlax. Miltank has lackluster Special Defense which means any strong special attack can bring in down. Also, status like Burn destroys Miltank. Snorlax doesn't have a problem with special attacks and Rest cures any status. Snorlax also has way better HP and Attack. So in terms of who's the better Normal type, Snorlax wins with no contest.

thanks dude, but i wanna keep miltank ;_;

+ miltank here is more used as a wall, not a special wall. snorlax isn't that good as a wall.

You mean physical wall? Because special walls are also walls, that's why it has the word "wall" in it's name.

And even as a physical wall, Miltank still isn't that great. A wall should have great resistances to a variety of different types. What does Miltank resist?

NOTHING. It only has an immunity to Ghost.

There are much better physical walls in the game. Things like Skarmory, Forretress, and Gliscor have a lot of resistances and are way more useful than Miltank.

Just because you like a Pokemon doesn't mean it's good for your team. My favorite Pokemon is Articuno but I'm not going to put it in any of my OU teams because it won't work well.

Since you are using Suicune, Forretress would be best for this team since it learns both Spikes and Toxic Spikes, which Suicune enjoys since it weakens the opponent while Suicune sets up.

Forretress @Leftovers/Shed Shell
Relaxed
252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 Def
-Payback
-Spikes
-Toxic Spikes
-Rapid Spin

Payback is there to damage Ghost types who will try to block your Rapid Spin.
