[SET COMMENTS]

Dhelmise is a reliable spinner due to its bulk, typing, and ability to threaten common Stealth Rock setters such as Seismitoad, Rhyperior, and Steelix, letting it keep Stealth Rock off the field. However, even with Dhelmise's strong STAB options, it fails to threaten Dark-types such as Incineroar and Zarude. Synthesis makes Dhelmise a proper check to Rhyperior, Ice Beam Gastrodon, and Raikou. Dhelmise can run Anchor Shot over Poltergeist if it is paired with Knock Off support from the likes of Mienshao and Golisopod. Heavy-Duty Boots prevents Dhelmise from being prone to entry hazards, which lets it preserve Synthesis's PP. 192 HP EVs allow Dhelmise to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Toxtricity's Overdrive, while 96 Speed EVs enable it to outspeed Golurk after a Rapid Spin boost.

Dark-types such as Zarude and Incineroar can always switch into Dhelmise's STAB attacks with ease, so teammates such as Togekiss, Crobat, and Milotic are appreciated. In return, Dhelmise is able to check fierce Electric-types such as Xurkitree, Toxtricity, and Raikou. Fire-types such as Darmanitan and Chandelure are massive nuisances, so Milotic and Snorlax complement Dhelmise nicely due to their ability to check them. Flying-types such as Crobat, Noivern, and Togekiss can threaten and force out Dhelmise. Therefore, Flying-type checks like Raikou, Stakataka, and Xurkitree pair well with Dhelmise. Dhelmise appreciates having pivot support from Mienshao and Raikou because they can bring it onto the field against Pokemon such as Sylveon and Cobalion, which Dhelmise generally has a good matchup against and can use the opportunity to remove entry hazards.

A trapper set with Swords Dance, Anchor Shot, Rapid Spin, and Rest can be used to improve Dhelmise's matchup against Tangela and Snorlax while using Pokemon like Registeel and Steelix as setup fodder. However, this set suffers from coverage issues while also being easily taken advantage of by Swords Dance Cobalion and Nasty Plot Togekiss, particularly if Dhelmise is asleep, so revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Mienshao and Metagross can help aid Dhelmise with this issue.

Dhelmise is RU's most valuable Rapid Spinner due to its bulk, typing, and the ability to threaten common Stealth Rock users such as Seismitoad, Rhyperior, and Steelix. However, Dhelmise fails to pressure Dark-types such as Inceroar and Zarude. Rapid Spin makes Dhelmise a viable hazard removal, while also giving it enough speed to outpace Jolly Alolan-Marowak, Adamant Golurk, while it speed ties with Togekiss. Power Whip and Poltergeist are both Dhelmise's powerful STAB moves, they are also resisted by very few Pokemon and hit Stealth Rockers hard such as Seismitoad and Cobalion. Synthesis makes Dhelmise a proper check to physical Virizion and Rhyperior, as it also synergiezes with Rapid Spin, keeping Dhelmise alive to remove entry hazards. Dhelmise has the option to run Anchor Shot to deal heavy damage to Zarude and Togekiss while trapping Pokemon such as Steelix. Heavy-Duty Boots prevents Dhelmise from being prone to entry hazards, making it pretty flexible when entering the field. On the other hand, Colbur Berry enables Dhelmise to take minimal damage from a Knock Off by Incineroar and a Darkest Lariat from a Zarude for a turn, however, it will be easily crippled by entry hazards. Dhelmise's EVs enable it to outpace Golispod and Vileplume while maximizing its attack stat.

Dark-types such as Zarude and Incineroar can always switch into Dhelmise's STAB attacks with ease, so countermeasures are Fairy-types such as Togekiss and Gardevoir. In return, Dhelmise is able to check fierce Electric-types such as Xurkitree, Toxtricity, and Raikou while being able to remove entry hazards if Togekiss's item gets Knocked Off. Fire-types such as Darmantian and Chandelure deem to be a massive nuisance to Dhelmise because they can threaten it with Fire-type moves, Snorlax and Milotic are able to check both Darmanitan and Chandelure as they don't mind getting Toxiced. Flying-types such as Crobat, Noivern, and Togekiss are some of the best checks to Dhelmise. Therefore, Flying-type checks like Raikou, Stakataka, and Toxtricity pair well with Dhelmise. Dhelmise appreciates having pivot support from the likes of Mienshao and Zarude because they can bring it onto the field and make it safe to remove entry hazards without taking additional damage. Knock Off support from Incineroar and Obstagoon are also helpful because they remove key items such as Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers, which gives Dhelmise an easier time to threaten its checks such as Togekiss and Crobat.

Did you mean it speed ties with slow Togekiss? Because 210 is not a speed tie with 284 last time I checked. Also, I think it would be helpful if you were more specific about it outspeeding these mons after a Rapid Spin. I was just reading through this and I got tripped up by the lack of clarity there. Good post though.

PS: If you're speed tying with slow Togekiss, wouldn't it be better to just like add 4 more EVs there so you actually outspeed it after a Rapid Spin? Because otherwise, I don't see the point of mentioning speed tying with that specific set in particular here; especially when a faster Togekiss just clicks Air Slash on your face.

colbur berry is not good enough to be mentioned, its really only usable to lessen damage from mienshao, makes you too prone to hazards, hindering your ability to check elecs and waters. additionally, the example you listed "On the other hand, Colbur Berry enables Dhelmise to take minimal damage from a Knock Off by Incineroar and a Darkest Lariat from a Zarude.", both incineroar and zarude resist dual STAB so there's rly no merit here.

252+ SpA Choice Specs Punk Rock Toxtricity Overdrive vs. 192 HP / 0 SpD Dhelmise: 139-164 (42.2 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
bulk does this, so you can consistently switch in 3/4 of toxt's moves if at full. 96 Spe outspeeds max spe ada golurk after spin, i know you've been telling me about 100 spe going over 48 spe milo after spin, but only acceptable speed investments in analyses are to outspeed 0 / 252 Spe EVs benchmarks of other mons.

Dhelmise is RU's most a valuable Rapid Spinner due to its bulk, typing, and the ability to threaten common Stealth Rock users setters such as Seismitoad, Rhyperior, and Steelix. However, Dhelmise fails to pressure Dark-types such as Inceroar (epic typo) and Zarude. Rapid Spin makes Dhelmise a viable hazard removal, while also giving it enough speed to outpace Utility Togekiss, Jolly Alolan-Marowak, and Adamant Golurk after a Rapid Spin. Power Whip and Poltergeist are both Dhelmise's powerful STAB moves, they are also resisted by very few Pokemon and hit Stealth Rockers hard such as Seismitoad and Cobalion. (fluff, no need to explain STABs. move speed mention to end of paragraph). Synthesis makes Dhelmise a proper check to physical Virizion and Rhyperior, as it also synergiezes with Rapid Spin, keeping Dhelmise alive to remove entry hazards. (just talk about how it allows you to sustain to check threats and perform its role as entry hazard removal throughout the course of the game). Dhelmise has the option to run Anchor Shot to deal heavy damage to Zarude and Togekiss while trapping Pokemon such as Steelix. (make anchor shot purely a trapping mention, doesnt do enough to zarude and toge just air slashes anyways. do this in a new paragraph, similar to this example in the magnezone analysis (click), where you do a write up on a trapper set) Heavy-Duty Boots prevents Dhelmise from being prone to entry hazards, making it pretty flexible when entering the field. (dont explain hdb, that's dex info. instead talk about how it helps sustain and allows it to not be pressured into synthesis). On the other hand, Colbur Berry enables Dhelmise to take minimal damage from a Knock Off by Incineroar and a Darkest Lariat from a Zarude. However, it will be easily crippled by entry hazards. (explained above) Dhelmise's EVs enable it to outpace Golispod and Vileplume while maximizing its attack stat. 192 HP EVs allows Dhelmise to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Toxtricity's Overdrive, while the Speed EVs enables it to outspeed Golurk after a Rapid Spin boost. (adjust the wording however you want, but basically yea, explain the new spread, details given above. also, for future reference, "while maximising its attack stat" is fluff, only explain relevant investments)

Dark-types such as Zarude and Incineroar can always switch into Dhelmise's STAB attacks with ease, so countermeasures are Fairy-types Pokemon such as Togekiss, Crobat, and Milotic. and Gardevoir. (garde doesnt switch into both cuz it either gets outsped or doesnt like getting statused or toxic. crobat for zarude, milotic for incin). In return, Dhelmise is able to check fierce Electric-types such as Xurkitree, Toxtricity, and Raikou while being able to remove entry hazards if Togekiss's item gets Knocked Off. (double removal is just a no, you would probs run cleric toge or np toge. if u meant in general to remove for toge, thats just dhelm's role anyways). Fire-types such as Darmantian (typo) and Chandelure deem to be a are massive nuisances to Dhelmise because they can threaten it with Fire-type moves, therefore Snorlax and Milotic are able to check both Darmanitan and Chandelure as they don't mind getting Toxiced complement Dhelmise nicely due to their ability to check Fire-types. (swap milo and lax, milo for darm, lax for chandy makes more sense. also, milotic sure af minds getting toxic'ed, wears it down into range of other attackers and hinders its sustainability, doesnt run rest like lax does). (if you are pairing dhelmise with pivots, it doesnt follow exactly the same logic as pairing breakers with pivots. change this to talk about how they invite in mons that dhelmise has good mu versus, examples are like milo and coba probs, which then gives it opportunity to spin). Knock Off support from Incineroar and Obstagoon are also helpful because they remove key items such as Heavy-Duty Boots and Leftovers, which gives Dhelmise an easier time to threaten its checks such as Togekiss and Crobat. (doesn't make sense cuz dhelmise isn't a breaker or sweeper that you're tryna support, this is the support mon, and also if u knock them u cant polt ._.)

Dhelmise is a valuable reliable Spinner due to its bulk, typing, and the ability to threaten common Stealth Rock setters such as Seismitoad, Rhyperior, and Steelix. [Emphasize how it can keep off Stealth Rock versus almost every common SR user -- this is useful for some teammates like Scarf Darm, Specs Chandy, etc. even though those mons are niche] However, Dhelmise fails to pressure Dark-types such as Incineroar and Zarude. [This feels too negative -- it is walled by those mons, but teams without Incin/Zarude struggle to switch into it. Maybe start with something like "although its powerful STABs pressure much of the meta..."] Synthesis makes Dhelmise a proper check to physical Virizion [super niche mon] and Rhyperior, as it enables it to remove entry hazards throughout the course of the match. [I'd mention how Synth lets it more reliably come in on Water types like Gastro -- prevents you from being totally screwed over by Ice Beam. it also makes you an actual check to Electrics]. Heavy-Duty Boots prevents Dhelmise from being prone to entry hazards, so it can sustain Synthesis PP. [HDB helping Dhelmise avoid 2HKOs from things like Metagross Meteor Mash is more important than preserving PP, which only really matters in stall matchup (very rare)]. 192 HP EVs allows Dhelmise to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Toxtricity's Overdrive, while the Speed EVs enables it to outspeed Golurk after a Rapid Spin boost.

Dark-types such as Zarude and Incineroar can always switch into Dhelmise's STAB attacks with ease, so countermeasures are Pokemon such as Togekiss, Crobat, and Milotic. In return, Dhelmise is able to check fierce Electric-types such as Xurkitree, Toxtricity, and Raikou. Fire-types such as Darmanitan and Chandelure are massive nuisances to Dhelmise, therefore Milotic and Snorlax complements Dhelmise nicely due to their ability to check Fire-types. Flying-types such as Crobat, Noivern, and Togekiss are some of the best checks to Dhelmise can threaten and force out Dhelmise. Therefore, Flying-type checks like Raikou, Stakataka, and Toxtricity Xurkitree [more reliable Togekiss check] pair well with Dhelmise. Dhelmise appreciates having pivot support from the likes of Mienshao and Zarude because they can bring it onto the field as they invite Pokemon such as Sylveon and Cobalion which Dhelmise generally has a good match up and give it an opportunity to remove entry hazards.

A Trapper set with Swords Dance, Anchor Shot, Rapid Spin, and Rest can be used to improve Dhelmise's matchup against Tangela and Snorlax, while using Pokemon like Registeel and Steelix as set up fodders. However, this set suffers from coverage issues, while also being easily taken advantage of if Dhelmise is asleep. This set requires revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Mienshao and Metagross.

Dhelmise is a reliable Spinner due to its bulk, typing, and the ability to threaten common Stealth Rock setters such as Seismitoad, Rhyperior, and Steelix which let it keep Stealth Rocks off the field. Although its strong STABs pressure much of the tier, it fails to threaten Dark-types Synthesis (reword this) makes Dhelmise a proper check to Rhyperior, Ice Beam Gastrodon, and Raikou, Synthesis also lets Dhelmise remove entry hazards throughout the course of the match. Heavy-Duty Boots prevents Dhelmise from being prone to entry hazards which let it avoid a 2HKO from a Metagross's Meteor Mash. 192 HP EVs allows Dhelmise to avoid the 2HKO from Choice Specs Toxtricity's Overdrive, while the Speed EVs enable it to outspeed Golurk after a Rapid Spin boost. personally I think a slash could be added to poltergeist (like anchor) if dhelm is paired with knock mons

Fire-types such as Darmanitan and Chandelure are massive nuisances to Dhelmise, so Milotic, (remove comma) and Snorlax complement Dhelmise nicely due to their ability to check Fire-types. However, this set suffers from coverage issues, (RC) while also being easily taken advantage of by Swords Dance Cobalion and Nasty Plot Togekiss, particularly if Dhelmise is asleep, so revenge killers such as Choice Scarf Mienshao and Metagross can help aid Dhelmise with this issue.
