Well, yes. I don't really recall a thread about this being made.....only one I can remember is dialga or palkia and that wasn't a very good topic to begin with so.....

Type: Steel/Dragon
Ability: Pressure o_o
http://serebii.net/pokedex-dp/483.shtml

So for the movepool:

Physical:
Dragon Claw
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Rock Slide
Shadow Claw
Brick Break

Not very much, but enough to make a CB set. Also one of the few Steel types that aren't part Rock or Ground to learn Stone Edge

Special:
Roar of Time
Draco Meteor
Flamethrower
Fire Blast
Overheat
Ice Beam
Blizzard
Thunder
Thunderbolt
Flash Cannon
Dragon Pulse
Aura Sphere
Earth Power

Well it's certainly interesting, but honestly besides Thunder, Fire Blast/FT/Overheat and the Dragon moves the rest isn't too hot.

Support:
Stealth Rock
Thunder Wave
Trick Room
Substitute
Safeguard
Rest
Sleep Talk
Psych Up
Heal Block
Toxic

Thunder Wave is nice for one on one. It's also an awesome 2v2 uber Trick Roomer I think, despite it's EQ weak (only because it can actually hurt something). Heal Block + Toxic messes up stallers badly. Sleep Talk borks up Roar of Time so don't try that. Also, 101 HP Subs are cool

Movesets:

Dialga @ Diamond Orb
Trait: Pressure
Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Thunder Wave
- Draco Meteor
- Dragon Pulse/Thunder
- Flamethrower/Fire Blast/Thunder
Sleep Talk somewhere can mess up Darkrai somewhat. And yes somewhat, since barely anything counters Darkrai

Dialga @ Choice Specs
Trait: Pressure
Modest Nature (+SAtk ,-Atk)
- Draco Meteor
- Thunder
- Overheat
- Dragon Pulse
Well, yeah. Overheat and Draco Meteor both destroy Groudon so Ice Beam isn't needed. If you fear Ice Arceus then *maybe* Flash Cannon could go somewhere.

Dialga @ Choice Band
Trait: Pressure
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Dragon Claw
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Overheat
mmhmm.

Dialga @ Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Adamant/Careful Nature (+Atk/+SDef, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Dragon Claw
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
Very defensive set. Still folds up too quickly to Groudon, though

Dialga @ Diamond (Or Adamant, whatever) Orb/Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Bulk Up
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Thunder/Overheat
Well, yes. Good luck walling this, but it's also hard to get this working\

Dialga @ Diamond Orb/Leftovers
Trait: Pressure
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Sleep Talk
- Roar
- Dragon Pulse
- Rest
mmhmm fun. Says hi to Mew, who's Schemed (Nasty Plotted) Ice Beam 3HKOs.

I would just use Dialga for straight-up offense with Diamond Orb. Draco Meteor off 438 SAT with Diamond Orb will 2HKO just about anything. Dragon Pulse gives you more reliable damage... Flamethrower for any Steels (rips Metagross and Jirachi apart). In the final spot it's a toss-up, really - Iron Tail gives you your best chance at beating Blissey, while Earthquake would hurt Heatran. Brick Break can give you both if you invest heavily in Dialga's attack (essentially you'd get a spread of 252ATK/252SAT).

Dialga can somewhat be a wall in tandem with Lugia. Dialga takes on stuff like CB Meteor Mash from Metagross and Toxics, while Lugia beats up Groudon.

I've thought about doing something like Draco Meteor and Overheat along with the Choice Specs on him. He's really got a lot of moves he can switch in on (just not Earthquakes...) so I figure he might do the job well. It's not like you're going to want to keep him in long after the Sp.A drop anyway.

Heal Block set maybe?

Dialga @ Diamond Orb
EVs: 252 SAtk/252 Spd/6 HP
Nature: Modest (SAtk+/Atk-)
- Heal Block
- Dragon Pulse
- Earth Power
- Aura Sphere

It can eliminate Bliss that will try to wall it with Heal Block + Aura Sphere.
Earth Power kills Heatran/steels and Dragon Pulse for general damage.

I had a post full of calculations but I misclicked on a link and deleted all of my results =(

BURestTalk Dialga is mine and Phuquoph's, so give credit plz :] . It's EV spread is 252 HP/16 Def/240 SpD, Careful. You need two BUs and a Diamond Orb to 2HKO Groudon with max HP.

Oh please, it's not like no one else would have thought of it. Trying to 'claim' sets is dumb.

This poor thing will likely always be in the shadows of its better cousin, Palkia. For a little while I thought it could work great with Roar of Time and Sleep Talk but apparantly it requires a recharge now when Sleep Talked. What a shame...

Stop claiming stuff in my name. I'll sue. I don't even claim that Jirachi set everyone seems to be associating with me.

Dialga's got more useful resistances than Palkia, giving him a much easier time switching in. Dark and Ghost resists are few and far between in ubers. He did get shafted in the signature move department compared to Palkia though.

I'm not claiming sets, Phuquoph and I have talked about the moveset a long time before anyone else have(At least that we've known of), and talking about it being dumb isn't nessecary. This is honestly as stupid as the Gamefaqs vs. Jumpman/Chaos Boah set. I'm just fixing what Jibaku put, as he had the spread and settup wrong.

I don't think that Dialga is trully oveshaded or outclassed, as Dialga is more of a tank(None of that Lugia outclasses it in that then) that can actually hit back. It is unpredictable, and has some serious potential being the only Normal resistance this side of Giradina. It has an assload of good resistances.

WTF you'll sue? How?

He wasn't thinking about your 'spread and setup', he was thinking of the set on his own. Hence why it was different or 'wrong'. Saying something is 'mine' IS trying to claim it.

Where does normal resistance even matter outside of Arceus? Granted resisting normal Arceus isn't bad but it can just slam you with its other moves, which will probably include Earthquake or Land Power if it's running normal.

I don't see any reason that Reflect Lugia won't work in DP too, so Bulk Up/Dragon Claw Dialga has much of the same problems that Groudon does in getting past that to actually sweep.

Lugia will never get past BUDialga either, lol. And Normal resistance is so important seeing as Slaking completely destroys Uber teams with Return, OHKOing Lati@s, Rayquaza, Mewtwo, Non-Defensive Kyogre, and 2HKOing anythig else. It 2HKOs Groudon, for pete's fuckin' sakes. Anyone who says normal resistance isn't important in Ubers obviously doesn't play Ubers.

It doesn't have to. The point is to just Whirlwind it out. Not being able to Toxic it changes things though and may just delay the inevitable.

I had honestly forgotten about Slaking as it's not seen much on teams these days, probably due to the prevalence of things like Forretress. Regardless though, Slaking 2HKO's Lugia (but not max+ defense Lugia) but Lugia can just Reflect and Recover in its face, just like Groudon.

Dialga may have difficulty coming in due to so many powerful things like Mewtwo and Latios capable of a 2HKO. What all can this come in on?

Ugh, Slaking gets walled by Lugia 24/7. Slaking is as decent in Ubers as he is in OU play.

A Normal resist isn't really vital though, just preferable to have. It's not like OU where you might get hammered by Tauros, Staraptor, PorygonZ or even a random Zangoose.

Slaking and Arceus and the only two Normal users you're likely to see in ubers.

I love the restalk and CB sets in Ubers, mainly because I prefer Palkia for special sweeping needs ;/
needs less discussion of who made what imo .-.

At least Dialga has Dragon Pulse to impersonate Space Break.......

Dark resistance is porbably one of Dialga's most imprtant resistances. Resisting Darkrai's Dark Pulse is pretty good.....

It can also, unlike other dragons, survive a Dragon hit and KO them back with Draco Meteor, but at the same time it has to sacrifice the speed for the bulkiness
