Diancie @ Power Herb
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
Tera Type: Grass
Quiet Nature
- Trick Room
- Meteor Beam
- Moonblast
- Earth Power
Shine bright like a diamond with Diancie using this powerful Trick Room sweeper set! Power Herb + Meteor Beam lets Diancie unleash a bejeweled blitz under Trick Room, and Earth Power nicely complements Diancie's STAB moves, hitting Steel-types that resist them like Registeel and Klefki. Diancie's defensive typing and amazing bulk let it reliably set up Trick Room, especially against the likes of common pivots like Incineroar and Talonflame. Tera Grass also lets Diancie turn the tables on Grass-, Ground-, and Water-types, setting up Trick Room and beating down would-be checks like Tsareena, Flygon, and Inteleon. This Diancie set functions best on hyper offensive teams, teaming up with other setup sweepers like Drednaw, Infernape, and Iron Thorns to overwhelm shared checks of defensive walls like Swampert, Vileplume, and Bronzong, the latter of which resists all of Diancie's attacks. All these offensive sweepers take great advantage of entry hazards set by dedicated leads like Bombirdier and Froslass. The Jewel Pokemon can be a bit of a one-trick pony with Meteor Beam; if the move misses, Diancie gets phazed, or the foe uses Protect on the incoming hit, Diancie's Trick Room can be stalled out before it wreaks havoc.
