Okay so... I made a name on showdown "Beat dick 2013" as a joke (naming my Klefki dick, because it's an actual name, but obviously a pun intention) and I made a post in the lobby and didn't realize that my name could be breaking the rules.

did i get banned or is showdown down?

The server is down yes, but some auth may want you to change your name when the server gets back up. Thinking up a new nick during downtime wouldn't be a bad idea.
