What with the metagame of X and Y still blooming, I decided it is about time to start planning my post-bank team. I'm a bit rusty so any and all suggestions are highly welcomed! :)
Klefki @ Light clay
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SDef
Bold Nature
- Reflect
- Light screen
- Spikes
- Foul Play
The first prankster-mon to get both screens and with perfect typing for it, this thing can come in on a variety of moves set up and switch out. With light clay, I net myself 8 turns of protection. Spikes are priority with prankster, and I usually can set them up without hastle. Foul Play prevents me from being taunt-bait, and is a slap in the face to set up-mons, such as Agislash. Speaking of Agislash...
Aegislash @ Life Orb
Ability: Stance Change
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SpD
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- King's Sheild
- Secret Sword
- Shadow Sneak
Pretty self exclamatory. I set up SD for as long as I can safely do so, and go for the sweep with priority STAB Shadow Sneak. Secret Sword prevents me from being walled by Normal type Pokemon, and King's Shield is for mind-games, and crippling physical sweepers. All of that, and Key-Blade core works like a charm!~
Porygon2@Evolite
Ability: Trace
Evs: 252 HP / 176 Def / 80 SpD
Bold Natured
~ Thunderbolt
~ Ice Beam
~ Toxic / Hidden Power Fire / Thunder Wave
~ Recover
My teams wall and support mage. He tends to stick around a long time, and is only really threatened my Fighting moves and toxic. I almost always open with a T-Wave, and weaken my opponent with Bolt-Beam, healing when needed. He is overall not only my favorite Pokemon, but also my teams MVP more often than not.
Blissey@Leftovers
Serence Grace
Evs: 4 HP / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Modest natured
-Calm Mind
-Softboiled
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
My special wall and tank. She can switch into a lot of specially based Pokemon, and set up in their face. From there, bolt-beam can cause some damage! Solfboiled gives me reliable recovery, and better lets me tank special powerhouse Pokemon.
Infernape@Assult Vest
Blaze
Evs: 252 Att/252 Spd/4Def
Jolly Natured
-Earthquake
-Flare Blitz
-Close Combat
-Stone Edge
Overall is a lead that hits like a truck! He can't take much damage, through. He has Life Orb, which lets me hit a lot harder, but it unfortunately doesn't live very long for this reason. I mainly use him as a revenge killer. The Assult Vest does help give it a bit of suitability, though.
Scizor@Flying Gen
Technition
Evs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Natured
~ Swords Dance
~ Bullet Punch
~ Acrobatics
~ Superpower
The basic offensive SD set from 5th gen. He can switch into a fair bit, although a bit more carefully since the steel nerf. Either way, after a SD or two, nothing will want to be taking 60 BP STAB priority Bullet Punches. Acrobatics and Gem allow for a one-use 220 BP move, fallowed by 110 BP attacks afterward, very nice indeed.
Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read my post here, and I gratefully await your response.
Thanks in advance!
