[OVERVIEW]
Alolan Diglett is an excellent wallbreaker and late-game cleaner in Little Cup, with a blazing speed tier and dangerous STAB combination. With solid coverage and the power boost from Life Orb, Alolan Diglett can OHKO or 2HKO most of the tier. Despite its strengths, Alolan Diglett is very frail, making it difficult to get onto the field without support and means it is also susceptible to priority moves.

[SET]
name: Life Orb
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Rock Blast
move 3: Sucker Punch
move 4: Substitute / Iron Head
item: Life Orb
ability: Tangling Hair
nature: Jolly
tera type: Ground / Dark / Stellar
evs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 36 Def / 196 Spe

[SET COMMENTS]
Alolan Diglett uses Earthquake as its STAB move of choice, threatening OHKOs on Pokemon such as Glimmet, Tinkatink, and Chinchou. Rock Blast threatens the Flying-types that otherwise would give Alolan Diglett trouble, notably Vullaby due to the interaction with Weak Armor. Sucker Punch helps Alolan Diglett pick off weakened foes that speedtie or outspeed it, such as Choice Scarf Hisuian Growlithe and Wingull. Iron Head lets Alolan Diglett almost always 2HKO Toedscool and Grookey, with the added flinch chance helping against bulky Pokemon like Mienfoo. Alternatively, Substitute can be used to scout for Terastallizations, switches, and Sucker Punch from Stunky or opposing Alolan Diglett. Alolan Diglett has many viable Tera types available to it. Tera Ground boosts the damage of Earthquake, KOing most neutral targets such as Mienfoo or Foongus after some chip damage. Tera Dark powers up Sucker Punch while giving Alolan Diglett a resistance to opposing Sucker Punch users like the aforementioned Stunky, while Tera Stellar provides a small boost to all of Alolan Diglett's attacks, which can allow it to pick up some surprise KOs.

Alolan Diglett's high Speed and damage output make it a perfect fit on offensive structures. Pivot support is vital for Alolan Diglett to safely get onto the field, which can be provided by U-turn from Mienfoo or Vullaby and Volt Switch from Elekid or Chinchou. Shellder is a great ally for Alolan Diglett, as it can break down bulky checks such as Foongus or Mienfoo for Alolan Diglett, while also turning Choice Scarf users like Hisuian Growlithe into opportunities to setup. Teammates like Vullaby, Stunky, and Tinkatink can remove the Eviolites of Pokemon that are usually able to take a hit from Alolan Diglett such as Mienfoo or Mudbray are appreciated.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============
Alolan Diglett can use Swords Dance to be near unstoppable after a boost, but it is unreliable due to its fragility leaving few opportunities to setup. Tera Blast Flying deals heavy damage to Mienfoo and Foongus and OHKOs the two if they lost their Eviolite as well as OHKOing Toedscool from full health with Eviolite, but other Tera types are often more useful.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Choice Scarf Pokemon**: Choice Scarfers such as Hisuian Growlithe or Mienfoo can outspeed and revenge kill Alolan Diglett.

**Shellder**: Shellder is able to set up Shell Smash on Alolan Diglett due to its high Defense and threaten to sweep.

**Grookey**: Grookey's Grassy Terrain halves the power of Earthquake and it can threaten Alolan Diglett with priority Grassy Glide.

**Bulky Pokemon**: Pokemon like Mienfoo, Foongus, and Mudbray can take a hit from Alolan Diglett if they are healthy enough and threaten it back.

[OVERVIEW]
Alolan Diglett is an excellent wallbreaker and late-game cleaner in Little Cup, with a blazing speed tier and dangerous STAB combination. Due to its raw power, Alolan Diglett is extremely difficult to switch into for most Pokemon and it is capable of OHKOing or 2HKOing much of the tier. feels like 3 ways of saying the same thing. highlighting that it can OHKO or 2HKO most of the tier is good, already shows it has raw power and is hard to switch in to. did you want to cover more things like its coverage combined with its power makes it hard to switch into then emphasize this with the fact that it can 2HKO or OHKO almost everything? Alolan Diglett also has some interesting optimization too vague even for an overview that help it get around its soft checks Pokemon that may be able to soft check it. For all Despite its strengths, Alolan Diglett is very frail, making it difficult to get onto the field without support and means it is also susceptible to priority moves.

Alolan Diglett uses Earthquake as its STAB move of choice, threatening OHKOs on Pokemon such as Glimmet, Tinkatink, and Chinchou. Rock Blast threatens the Flying-types that otherwise would give Alolan Diglett trouble and complements Earthquake mention vullaby by name here—the weak armor interaction is important. Sucker Punch helps Alolan Diglett pick off weakened foes or the few threats that may be faster or speedtie it "faster or speedite it" can be shortened, such as Choice Scarf Hisuian Growlithe or Wingull. Iron Head provides coverage for lets Alolan Diglett almost always? 2HKO to hit Toedscool and Grookey for decent damage, while something about the flinch chance. Meanwhile, Substitute can be used to scout for Terastallizations, switches, and Sucker Punch from Stunky or opposing Alolan Diglett.

Alolan Diglett requires (i wouldn't go as far as saying it's required but you can pick another phrase that is strongly worded. if others agree it's required that's fine leave it) pivot support to safely get onto the field, which can be provided by U-turn from Mienfoo or Vullaby or and Volt Switch from Elekid or Chinchou. Shellder is a great ally for Alolan Diglett, as they both can act as wallbreakers for each other and the rest of the team this is a little clear / underdeveloped, while the vullaby/elekid point makes a lot of sense. maybe say that they break through bulky checks like foongus/mienfoo for each other more explicily than "act as wallbreakers for each other". I was also going to mention that you should say that struggles to break through foongus so this would check that box. You could also mention that shellder is good against opposing choice scarfers all in one? Teammates like Vullaby or Elekid can help to weaken Alolan Diglett's checks such as Mudbray with Knock Off, leaving it unable to switch in safely Mudbray doesn't ever switch in, i would emphasize that it uses tera water or change it to something like mare that dies after being knocked but not before. Grookey is a big hindrance for Alolan Diglett, so checks such as Vullaby and Foongus are appreciated.

Alolan Diglett can use Swords Dance to be near unstoppable after a boost, but it is unreliable due to its fragility leaving few opportunities to setup. Tera Blast Flying allows Diglett to KO foes such as Mienfoo or Foongus with significantly less chip damage this makes it sound like diglett is taking less chip, i would just say it does more damage to mienfoo and foongus or cite specific rolls (kills both when knocked, does 90+% etc. also it is able to ohko toeds) and also grants Alolan Diglett a resistance to Grookey's Grassy Glide, but other Tera types are often more useful.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Grookey**: Grookey's Grassy Terrain halves the power of Earthquake and it can threaten Alolan Diglett with priority Grassy Glide. mention how iron head lets you 2hko grook most of the time? would move this below all of my examples except for shellder.

**Choice Scarf Pokemon**: Choice Scarfers such as Hisuian Growlithe or Mienfoo can outspeed and revenge kill Alolan Diglett. mention how some can be beaten with sucker if you've chipped (mostly important for growlithe) but not

**Mudbray**: you mention mudbray as a check above but it's not here? is this only for if there's notable interactions?

Focus Blast Elekid:

Foongus? (all but flyblast)

Mienfoo: (also justifies flyblast)

Shellder? (lets it in to set up)
