Diglett @ Groundium Z / Life Orb
Ability: Arena Trap
Level: 5
EVs: 36 HP / 236 Atk / 236 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- Sucker Punch
- Substitute / Memento

In most tiers, trappers are known for removing potential threats for a Pokémon or a core, and Diglett is the premier example in LC! With access to the coveted Arena Trap, along with the fastest unboosted Speed tier, Diglett can trap any Pokémon that is grounded and revenge kill if a partner has been knocked out. Groundium Z allows it to fire a Tectonic Rage able to knock out bulkier threats such as Staryu, Timburr, and Foongus if their Eviolites have been removed. Although Diglett's positives are outstanding, its frailty means it can't switch in on anything, meaning it needs help from slow pivots such as Mienfoo and Chinchou to get in. Special attackers such as Abra and Gastly, and setup sweepers such as Shellder and Vullaby appreciate Diglett trapping and removing threatening Pokemon such as Alolan Grimer and Pawniard, which are hazardous for them, and giving support with Memento to set up. Diglett is hindered by Water- and Grass-types, and for that, Foongus is a good partner to deal with them.

- Wingull is the big reason why Rock Slide has become popular again, so I'd replace Vullaby with it.
- Sucker Punch's targets aren't very obvious, it'd be good to expand on that a little. Primarily weakened Scarf users and the occasional set-up mon.
- Not sure Diglett particularly cares about having entry hazards more than other mons, last sentence can probably be deleted

looks good qc 1/1

really pumping these out huh...
Diglett can trap any Pokémon that is grounded.
Specify that it revenge kills.
With access to the coveted Arena Trap, along with one of the highest Speed benchmarks
the fastest unboosted speed tier.
Earthquake is its main STAB attack, which coupled with Groundium Z allows it to fire a Tectonic Rage able to knock out bulkier threats such as Snubbull, Timburr, and Foongus if their Eviolites have been removed.
Snubbull doesn't commonly run an Eviolite, it prefers Berry Juice. I would prefer if you used a different example here. Maybe Staryu?

edit: op ugggggggh QC 2/1

Earthquake is its main STAB attack, which coupled with Groundium Z allows it to fire a Tectonic Rage able to knock out bulkier threats such as Staryu, Timburr, and Foongus if their Eviolites have been removed. Rock Slide acts as a great coverage option hitting Flying-types such as Wingull and Doduo for super effective damage. Sucker Punch provides Diglett with priority to finish off weakened foes such as Scarf Pokémon and occasional setup sweepers, and to take Gastly out. Substitute allows Diglett to get a second chance to trap whatever it's needed by taking advantage of a predicted status attack or a predicted Sucker Punch from Pawniard, thus removing it. Memento, in the other hand, heavily weakens the opponent to give a easier time to Pokémon like Shellder to set upemon that is grounded and revenge kill if a partner has been knocked out. Groundium Z allows it to fire a Tectonic Rage able to knock out bulkier threats such as Staryu, Timburr, and Foongus if their Eviolites have been removed. Special attackers such as Abra and Gastly, and setup sweepers such as Shellder and Vullaby appreciate Diglett's job, as it can trapping and removeing threatening Pokéemon such as Alolan Grimer and Pawniard, which are hazardous for them, and giveing support with Memento to set up. Diglett is hindered by Water- and Grass-types, and for that, Foongus is a good partner to deal with them.

i was pretty liberal with this check, but only because this went wayy over the limit (limit is around 1000 characters, original for this was >1600). i removed all the info about the moves because it wasn't necessary but kept the groundium z part because it was relevant. GP 1/1
