Disasters First Team

MaiHump - The Machamp @ Leftovers - Adamant
Ability: No Guard
EV's: 252hp/252atk/6Special def
-Dynamic Punch
-Ice Punch
-Sleeptalk
-Rest
This guy is a standard sleeptalker, he's not a common lead machamp but I figured with all the sleeper leads he'd be good to counter them, not to mention it's really bulky so it can take a hit if I happen to mispredict. The only bad thing about this one is that the recently common lead azelf counters it nicely but otherwise I like him as a lead.

3rd Kind - The Magnezone @ Choice Scarf - Timid
Ability: Magnet Pull
EV's: 252spe/252satk/6def
-T-bolt
-Hidden power ice - (67-70) depending on the calcs (such a bitch to breed)
-Flash Cannon
-Explosion
This one is really for surpise, and actually giving the ev's I have it can outspeed a standard azelf because alot of the time they don't put max ev's in speed. He adds the surprise factor in as a wonderfull revenge Killer, and it is nice to have a guaranteed skarm/forre/scizor Killer.

Clef The Dusknoir @ Leftovers - Careful
252Hp/252 Special defense/6Def
-Night shade
-Will -O- Wisp
-Substitute
-Pain Split
I know this looks like an odd set, but when you think about it. it can really do well against bulky attackers like heatran.
Sub up surviving an attack the pain split the heatran. this also works on machamps even though its a special wall. the only flaw is that this guy gets completely walled buy blissey and togekiss, but what I normally do is don't show the full set so they think I'm running a focus punching set.
437.png

CPUJNON19 - The Bronzong @ Leftovers - Relaxed
Ability: Levitate
252Hp/252Def/6atk
-GyroBall
-Explosion/Light Screen
-Stealth Rock
-Hypnosis
Pure physical wall here, I know this creates a slight fire weakness but don't worry the next pokemon Fixes that. It's really only purposes are to
1.Lay out Teh rocks
2.Put Teh Guy to sleep
3.Explode in someones face or set up lightscreen for magnezone and machamp to be able to take a beating.

229.png

Clypto - The Houndoom @ Life Orb- Timid
Ability - Flashfire
252Spe/252S-atk/6HP
-Darkpulse
-Nastyplot
-HP Ice 67
-Flame thrower

Really I just needed a special sweeper and someone to take fire hits, oddly enought those what I've been getting lately was this guy ends up being a Fantastic special wall breaker, destroys cress with darkpulse and can do ALOT to a bliss with a nastyplot or two in. mainly for fire weakness though, I know this does create a ground weakness but I do have a Levitater and a flyer. it also creates a fight weakness, but I happen to have a ghost

373.png

Piety - The Salamence @ Focus Sash - Adamant
6 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
-Outrage
-DD
-Stone Edge
-Earth Quake
This guy is a great late game sweeper...though it has earned its spot I am thinking about putting a yache berry on it because sash doesnt work out to well for me, and the people who try to kill it almost always go for ice. so yea that would explain it, stone edge is there instead of firefang so I don't have to fear gyra or other bulky flyers (togekiss) without having to risk and outrage.

So this is my first team, It works pretty well. please help me think of counters and I'd gladly be open to any Ideas you'd have about the team.

Nicknames that may be hard to understand
CPUJNOJ19 - Model # of my platinum version
3rd Kind - close encounters with a 3rd kind is a movie about aliens

the rest of the names that make no sense are because the sounded cool or funny.

COUNTERS: I couldn't really think of any immediate counters off the top of my head, if you have one please enlighten me.

ABILITIES ONLY NOTED WHERE NEEDED.

Why don't you use scarfed timid Heatran than Houndoom it's much better than Houndoom and could take water attacks more than Houndoom.
And the Salamence set with Focus sash isn't good take out Focus sash and use Yache berry instead and change it to jolly nature and replace Stone edge with Fire fang.

Well, I'd prefer not to have both of my special attackers scarfed, so your soultion solves nothing for that.

As for the mence, It's DD it shouldn't be jolly, adamant works more effectively. I explained my use for stone edge over fire fang as with a DD in I already have plenty of attack to hurt the ONE thing I would need fire fang for. I.E. Scizor, I'm way more worried about Gryados than I am scizor. I was thinking yache but I don't know, and you have no reason to back up the claim that it's no good.

Also I would Like my team rated thank you.

Ok first of all you should make Machamp a little more Bulky. So I would go with

Machamp (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 252 HP/16 Atk/176 Def/8 Spd/56 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Dynamicpunch
- Ice Punch
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

or...

Machamp (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: No Guard
EVs: 188 HP/56 Atk/216 Def/8 Spd/40 SDef
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Dynamicpunch
- Ice Punch
- Rest
- Sleep Talk

Both have similar defensive orientated spreads, but both have different key points worth mentioning: One has less HP but still hits 368 for Leftovers, while the other smacks maximum with 384 which is still a divisible number by 16 which is where the Leftovers kicks in to heal your HP by one extra point. Then the Defense varies depending on how many EVs you invest - but both ultimately hit the "special number" so you will get an additional stat point for only 4 EVs.

The Speed is for Blissey (which isn't entirely important) while the Special Defense and Attack is spread accordingly, but nothing too drastic worth mentioning.

I don't see a scarfed Magnezone sweeping anytime soon and I would go with the standard Sub Set since many people have trouble with it once it has a sub up. Sweepers like Salamence can no longer EQ it.

Life Orb>Focus Sash on mence. You are using it as a late game sweeper so things with Ice Beam ect should be weakened and if you are worried about Weavile and Mamoswine with Ice Shard well then Bronzong handles them fine.

No need for fire fang with Magnezone killing random steels.

Team looks fine as a whole though. I could see a slight mamoswine weakness but as long as you have Bronzong/Dusknoir/Houndoom you should be fine.

The point of an RMT is to rate and critic.

People mostly just tell you how to make it better. Yacheberry works better than Focus sash since a physical sweeper isnt gonna do as much damage to you due to Intimidate, but an Ice attack is still gonna do a lot. i reccomend the yache personally.

Not bad though

Thanks for the help there, the machamp set is actually worth considoring for me, but what worries me is the lower attacking stat, I'll give it a shot though, and I'm not sure if I put it here but I believe I stated that Magnezone is a revenge Killer, I know I put sweeper and I should really change that, But I use it as more of a revenge kill because it can outspeed things like the standard azelf, with 216 evs in speed. so I think I'll leave the magnezone as is, but I'll check out the machamp sets and the LO mence.

One last problem I see with my own team is that my walls are weak, I was thinking of replacing magezone with heatran then houndoom with gengar and picking something Like a milotic as a special wall Or maybe a Vappy, not sure about that though. I do Like the suggestions though.

Well I've seen some of your vids and I know you play Platinum so I suggest this to your team if you are in need of another strong wall.

Zapdos @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EV's: 252 HP / 220 Def / 36 Spe
Bold Nature(+Def, -Atk)
- Heat Wave
- Thunderbolt
- HP Ice
- Roost

That should help you out with Scizor and Heracross and also lucario to an extent.
