Hello fellow RU players! Today I'd like to discuss the two main physical Firetypes in the tier, and which advantages they have over each other. This is just for the physical side so don't bring up Moltres Magmortar etc.

Name:Emboar
Base Stats:110 HP / 123 Atk / 65 Def / 100 Spa / 65 Spd / 65 Spe

Notable Physical moves:

Flare Blitz, Superpower, Wild Charge, Earthquake, Head Smash

Main perks:

-Dual STAB
-Lack of Stealth Rock weakness
-Coverage covering most of RU

Main downfalls:

-Lack of speed
-Less good bulk

Name:Entei
Base Stats:110 HP / 115 Atk / 85 Def / 90 Spa / 75 Spa / 100 Spe

Notable Physical moves:

Flare Blitz, Stone Edge, Extremespeed

Main perks:

-Access to +2 priority(Extremespeed)
-Higher speed
-Notably higher bulk

Main downfalls:

-Lack of coverage
-Stealth Rock weakness

So here they are, our two Flare Blitz-spamming Juggernauts. Does one of them really outclass the other one? Or are their niches enough to keep them seperated from comparing them? Discuss! :]
 
Emboar and Entei are really very different, and as such they belong on different teams. Entei is more of a glue of a team; you build the team around Entei ready for an Entei sweep. Entei can also perform as a fast wall-breaker and even a revenger in regards to ExtremeSpeed. He is overall very versatile and belongs on more Balanced teams really.

Emboar is an offensive juggernaut. He deals a bunch of recoil damage to himself and with his incredible power can threaten a LOT of things in the tier. However he only has two possible sets, offensive pivot and wallbreaker, and as a pivot he really needs wish support. He is a lot less bulky and his best set is scarf so he can outspeed... something. His power still threatens a lot of things in the tier though.
