Ditto find a small but notable niche as a unique, if a bit unreliable, revenge killer and reverse sweeper thanks to Imposter. The specific EV spread makes Ditto as bulky as possible while also minimizing entry hazard damage as much as possible. 0 Speed IVs allow Ditto to have the best odds possible winning the mirror matchup. Choice Scarf allows Ditto to be a consistent revenge killer once transformed. Ditto does not often Terastallize, but Tera Steel gives a great defensive typing against sweepers like Espeon, Florges, and Frosmoth while also providing an immunity to Toxic. Tera Ghost alternatively allows Ditto to block Extreme Speed and Fake Out from Arcanine and Ambipom. Finally, Tera Fairy allows for a resistance to Sucker Punch from Pokemon like Skuntank and Zoroark while also allowing Ditto to softcheck Pokemon like Scrafty and Tatsugiri.
Ditto generally finds itself on more specialized bulkier balance teams that need its support to deal with setup sweepers. Ditto can't lose its Choice Scarf without it being effectively neutered, so Knock Off absorbers such as Mudsdale, Hisuian Decidueye, and Bellibolt are good to have. Ditto also can't deal with Substitute-using setup sweepers such as Salazzle, Paldean Tauros-F, and Hisuian Typhlosion, so checks to these threats such as Rhydon and Altaria are useful to have. Ditto cannot be a consistent revenge killer against other Choice Scarf users like Hisuian Decidueye and Bruxish, so checks to these Pokemon such as Florges and Wo-Chien are good partners to have. In the same vein, Knock Off users such as Skuntank, Zoroark, and Pawmot are useful to have.
