Introduction
Well, recently, I had moved to Pokemon Online, in favor of its shininess and the ability to actually see my ladder score, as opposed to Poke Labs. However, this meant I was forced to forgo the DD Salamence I had fallen in love with. In its place, I had Zapdos, a former member. Zapdos worked well, and beat my #1 nemesis, Vaporeon, but I lacked a setup sweeper that could take advantage of the switches I caused. Nothing could quench the lust for power Salamence had given me. It was either too slow, too weak, or not bulky enough. In fact, I was left wanting even more power...
"I WANT TO TRY AND USE GARCHOMP IN 4TH GEN OU, DAMNIT!"
But it was not to be. I could not fit a setup sweeper in that spot that pleased me. Therefore, I figured I would start a new team, centered around the setup sweeper that in my opinion had the best prospects of soothing my mourning of the loss of Salamence... Lucario.
In conjunction with my U-Turn Team (with Zapdos over Salamence), it peaked at #2 on the PokemonBattleCenter, TWICE, then subsequently fell to lower ranks. I realize it's probably a somewhat weaker ladder than the Smogon and Pokemon Online servers, but the population of the Smogon server is inconsistent (it's often low when I come on :(), and I keep D/Cing out of the Pokemon Online server. On those two, my ranking is really erratic, and hasn't quite reached the upper ranks. At the moment, I've actually reached #2 on PBC for a third time (under Justin Bieber of all people, damnit!), but I haven't gotten as much of a chance to go on and battle, so it will remain there for a little bit.
Now, without further ado, the team,
(Yeah, I kinda switched the order...)

Divine Wolf - Flood: Mangaka
Starmie @ Life Orb
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Timid
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
-Hydro Pump
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Rapid Spin
Water rise... Divine Wolf - Flood!
Like Divine Wolf - Flood, Starmie will drown anything in its path. Bar the Pink Blobinator and Fatty.
Instead of the usual "Starlightz" as a nick name, I have Mangaka, since Starmie will paint the world with its Water/Electric/Ice trinity of attacks, and I was kinda going for a Japanese theme.
Ah, my beloved Starmie. However, it's out of its usual place, and has taken up the lead spot. Hydro Pump for an obligatory STAB that just wrecks stuff up. Thunderbolt and Ice Beam provide very nice coverage alongside Hydro Pump. Rapid Spin to get rid of hazards. It is also useful for luring choice-locked dark type attacks, like Pursuit from Tyranitar, for Lucario to set up on. I don't think there's too much else to say; in my opinion, the recent article on the OU Veterans put it quite well, "Starmie is Starmie."
Match-ups against common leads: What Starmie doesn't handle, Metagross probably does. I'm too lazy to make a full list, k? :( It's pretty much the same as the BKC, except I bring in Tyranitar on a Starmie v Starmie, and against Forretress, I set up on it with Gyarados.

Divine Wolf: [Arigato]Roboto
Metagross @ Lum Berry
Ability: Clear Body
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 248 Atk / 252 Atk / 8 Spe
-Stealth Rock
-Meteor Mash
-Earthquake/Explosion
-Bullet Punch
You're dead! Divine Wolf! You're gone!
"Why is Metagross the neutral-element Divine Wolf? It has the ability to crush things just as much as Tyranitar!" Well, because they were each colored better for their respective Divine Wolf, Metagross being blue, and Tyranitar a rockygreenishbrownish color. Besides, the quote fits Metagross quite well, and nothing else would really work. :(
As far as his nickname, there are all those mechas running around Japan, like the Super Sentai's, Zoids, Transformers, just to name a few. Reason Arigato is in brackets, because that doesn't fit, so I have "Thanks" there instead.
The lead synergy between Metagross and Starmie is just beautiful. Metagross takes on stuff like Roserade, Jirachi, Tyranitar and Machamp that Starmie isn't guaranteed to beat. Not so much Aerodactyl, because in my experience, "smart Aerodactyl user" is an oxymoron. My sincerest apologies to those who do use Aerodactyl effectively. I ran 8 speed to outspeed opposing lead/minimum speed Metagross. Why? I just like running one EV higher than what I would normally speed tie. In fact, when using MixApe, I run 196 speed EVs.
I'm having a bit of a four-slot-syndrome case here. I run Earthquake because I'm a little paranoid of steels switching in, plus the extra coverage is nice, but Explosion is so useful for blowing things up. Meteor Mash and Bullet Punch are in a way necessary to support Starmie. Plus, MM does more to Tyranitar who may pose a threat. Any suggestions about whether Earthquake or Explosion would be better to run would be much appreciated.

Divine Wolf - Storm: Sashimi
Gyarados @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
Nature: Adamant
EVs: 72 HP / 252 Atk / 184 Spe
-Dragon Dance
-Taunt
-Waterfall
-Bounce
O killing wind... Divine Wolf - Storm!
Like Divine Wolf - Storm, once Gyarados has setup, it can rip through a team like a raging storm. Also, it happens to be flying type, which is kind of an equivalent of the Wind element. And Water and Wind can certainly make a storm.
Yes, Gyarados is named after the Japanese delicacy. Sashimi was chosen over Sushi, because the latter just felt as if it didn't have enough syllables.
Bulky Gyarados without the bulk! Wait, whaaat? Yeah... Taunt turns Skarmory, Swampert, Suicune and Vaporeon without HP Electric, and several other Pokes into complete, and utter setup fodder! I also like having Taunt on a team to better deal with the rare Baton Pass Chain. Waterfall for obvious reliable STAB. I chose bounce because in my experience, it's Gyarados's best weapon against bulky waters, plus it helps him beat several of his common counters. In conjunction with taunt, Bounce will completely own Vaporeon, as it can't protect itself. In fact, Breloom can be subdued using that same strategy. It is free to switch out, but Bounce can dent something, and there's that lovely chance for paralysis. 72 HP for a leftovers number, max attack for as much power as possible, particularly helpful for getting the KO on things like bulky Starmie and Defensive Celebi, and 184 speed to outspeed positive speed base 115s after a DD. Gyarados is also effective for luring some Outrages for Lucario to set up on. If anyone thinks a different set would benefit my team more, I'll be more than willing to try it out, but thus far, this set has worked quite well for me.
To be honest, I've never really been a fan of Gyarados, but he's actually quite impressed me. Not quite as supersexyawesome as Salamence, but he is very effective at what he does.

Divine Wolf - Crush: Godzilla
Tyranitar @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Sand Stream
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
-Stone Edge
-Pursuit
-Crunch
-Earthquake
I'll put you in your grave! Divine Wolf - Crush!
When facing Tyranitar, you may find yourself crushed between the edges of many stones, between his jaws, by a building that fell during an earthquake, or because he stalked you.
I hope I need not explain his nickname.
Yep, Scarftar. He's does a great job of trapping and kill of Ghosts that could be an issue for Lucario. He can also beat troublesome Psychics like Celebi and Starmie, as well as revenge kill unsuspecting Lucario and Infernape, as well as things like Zapdos, or Dragonite and Gyarados that haven't set up. Tyranitar can also take some stray special attacks.
However, he does have a bit of redundancy with the next member of my team, so I've considered changing his set. Unfortunately, I don't see any other set doing his job quite as well, and it's not entirely redundant; they have some separate uses, and in case one goes down, the other can also act as a backup of sorts.

Divine Wolf - Blaze: Karaoke

Burn! Divine Wolf - Blaze!
Burn indeed. Burn in the little toaster oven! BURRNNNNNNNN!
I see karaoke mentioned pretty often when I'm reading manga and stuff, so what the heck. I fully understand though, I'm a part of an Asian family (though not Japanese), and at every get together, karaoke is obligatory.
Yeah, a second Scarfer. In many a case, Tyranitar just isn't fast enough to revenge kill certain threats, particularly Dragon Dancers. Their roles do overlap, but Tyranitar is more for outright killing ghosts and flying types, while Rotom-H is a much more dedicated revenge killer. It also has trick, to cripple walls, or force setup sweepers to lock themselves into one move (ideally their setup move). In the case Rotom-H does trick away its scarf, then Tyranitar can act as the back up revenge killer, so they're not entirely redundant. Rotom-H also gives the added benefit of being a second Pursuit/Crunch lure for Lucario to set up on.

Savage Wolf Fury -- Yuri
Lucario @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
Nature: Adamant/Jolly
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
-Swords Dance
-Close Combat
-ExtremeSpeed
-Bullet Punch / Stone Edge / Crunch
This ends now! O brilliant blade of coldest steel, rend the infinite darkness, and crush my enemies to nothing! You're dead! Savage Wolf Fury!
Hailing from lower quarter of the Imperial Capital, Zaphias, of the Ilccian continent of Terca Lumireis, Yuri Lowell is the bad ass who will kick your ass. Yeah, Repede more resembles Lucario, and is faster than Yuri, but Yuri is more directly powerful, and is often found punching things in the face.
So yes, here he is, the star of the team. We should all be familiar with SD Lucario by now. Swords Dance to boost his already good attack stat, Close Combat for an incredibly powerful 120 Base Power STAB, ExtremeSpeed for strong Priority, and a coverage move.
I know I shouldn't be having so many slashes in an RMT, but I honestly keep switching between the moves (and by extension, the nature). What I use depends on what screwed me over last time I lost. :(

Infernape @ Focus Sash
Ability: Blaze
Nature: Naive
EVs: 60 Atk / 252 SpA / 196 Spe
-Fake Out
-Stealth Rock
-Close Combat
-Fire Blast
Formerly in the lead spot, and in place of Metagross as the Stealth Rock user. That means Rotom-H would have to be the neutral element Divine Wolf, which is kinda whack, but eh...
Maou Engkiha is the Japanese name for Infernal Torrent, a beastly fire element attack used by the likes of Stahn Aileron, Guy Cecil, and Asbel Lhant.
Don't underestimate Infernape's bulk! Seriously. He's survived a Thunderbolt + ExtremeSpeed from a lead MixNite. The guy admitted he probably should've probably used Draco Meteor first turn, but hey, I used Fake out, we both screwed up. Machamp's Dynamic punch doesn't even come close to bringing Infernape down to his Focus Sash (it does just over half, so it is a 2HKO, but still). Infernape has done a good job laying down Stealth Rock, and actually is capable of coming back later in the match. However, there were some leads it just plain lost against, so the Starmie + Metagross combination proved more effective. In addition to this, Infernape had poor synergy with Tyranitar, as the latter's sandstorm would essentially nullify Infernape's focus sash.

Threats
I'm too lazy to make a complete threat list, I'm sorry. :( If I do find any notable problems, I'll list them here:
-Better players than I?
Conclusion
So there it is, Team Divine Wolf. Focused on eliminating/weakening Lucario's counters (how unique...), and then sweeping them off their feet, or as Yuri would say, "I'll blow you away!"
To close things up, this is what you'll feel like when facing my team! Wait, that's lacking Divine Wolf - Crush, so... here. Okay, you probably won't really feel that way, but that's the idea, mmkay?
Thanks very much to those who rate!

Team Building Process
Well, obviously, I wanted to center the team around Lucario, specifically the Swords Dance variant, so he takes the first slot.
Now, SD Lucario counters were typically Ghosts and bulky Flying types, as well as physically bulky walls. While it probably isn't doing much to said physical walls (Gliscor and Hippowdon say "Hi!"), it can scare Ghosts, and get Flying types stoned.
For the next slot, I chose my beloved Starmie. It drowns (or shocks or freezes) physical walls to death, and provides Rapid Spin support to get rid of those entry hazards I'm paranoid about.
For the next slot, I took a look at the "Team Options & Additional Comments" section for Lucario, and picked out Gyarados. Yes, I did that.
I noticed I lacked a revenge killer. Well, a fast enough one, anyway. I went with Rotom-H for its nice resistances and because it also (along with Starmie) lures Pursuits and Crunches for Lucario to setup on.
And finally, the lead was left. I love my Choice Scarf Jirachi to death, but I needed a more reliable way to get Stealth Rock up, to support Lucario. I chose Infernape. Why? 'Cause I wanted to fit an Infernape somewhere on this team, but I couldn't find space outside of the lead spot. :(
After making a fail mistake against Gengar and losing a match, I tried out a Choice Band Scizor in Tyranitar's spot, since in my experience with it, it always owned Gengar.
But it was short lived, 'cause Scizor couldn't take other Ghosts down reliably, and Stone Edge is nice. However, there was something else that concerned me.
Infernape actually impressed me as a lead. However, it just plain lost against some opposing leads. I've read the articles in the Smog, however, I had forgotten the one about lead synergy. That was, until I saw Blazin Kickin Chicken's Zetsubou Billy. Normally I don't like Starmie in the lead spot, and prefer to bring it in mid-game, but when backed up by Metagross, it's marvelous.
And that is the current standing of this team.
