DjLandlos Sandstorm

I put together a sandstorm team to face my rival. I looked at Pokemon that caught my attention. So here we go!

Tyranitar @ Leftovers
Nature: Sassy
Ability: Sand Stream
[Moveset]
1.Stealth Rock
2.Ice Beam
3.Fire Blast
4.Crunch
252 HP / 180 SpA / 76 SpD

Stealth Rock is important to stop fire pokemon from getting my Ferrothorn and Excadrill. Also sets up Sandstream while having a bit of attack. Ice beam to hit dragons, fire blast for grass.I think Mixtar helps, the bulkier the better chance I have against other weather teams. My concern is against Rain teams, because they can destroy my sweepers. Special attack stat allows him to break down Landorus's and Excadrill's counters. Without him this team would be nothing. I've considered an Ev spread more bulk orientated but i'm unsure.

Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Nature: Relaxed
[Moveset]
move 1: Spikes
move 2: Leech Seed
move 3: Thunder Wave
move 4: Power Whip
252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpDef
ivs: 0 Spe

Although Ferro would work better at setting up in a rain team, he still has a nice place for my sandstorm. Thunder Wave to cripple any threats to Landorus, since Excadrill can outspeed most. Layer up spikes and set down a leech seed. Extremely bulky to take anything that might kill Reuniclus. If I can get a huge setup going on, thunder waving a good portion of the oppositions team is good. Ferrothorn successfully blocks Gengar, Jellicent, Latios, and many other water threats. Pretty common set, lacking Atk ev's to truly abuse Power Whip.

Reuniclus @ Leftovers
[Moveset]
ability: Magic Guard
nature: Bold
1: Calm Mind
2: Recover
3: Psyshock
4: Focus Blast
252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD

Magic Guard allows Reni to avoid damage from Sandstorm, and other Ferrothorn setups. He also takes the bulk of grass and fire hits for my team. After Calm Mind Psyshock hits really hard.
Resists Fire, Grass, and Water which hurt my pokemon big time, His bulk helps greatly. Helps out in case of another weather team. A powerful stall breaker once Calm Mind has been setup. Weakness to moves like X-Scissor and Dark Pulse are a problem but manageable. Focus Blast's low accuracy has me a bit worried though. Supported by teamates that can KO Tyranitar and Scizor

Excadrill @ Life Orb
[Moveset]
Ability: Sand Rush
Nature: Adamant
move 1: Earthquake
move 2: Rock Slide
move 3: Return
move 4: X-Scissor
4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

I don't trust Exca's ability to successfully set up, so I picked a different set. He still hits hard without the setup. Also with Sand Rush I don't have to worry much about being outsped. Fastest pokemon on my team with Sandstorm boost. Life orb is an option on him, but I think choice band is the way to go in my opinion. A well placed mach punch will sadly KO Excadrill, but that's why I'm using the faster set. To me Excadrill is a well balanced Pokemon that becomes a scare under standstorm. I have chosen Life Orb as the better item, It gives me better options to accommodate his speed.

Magnezone @ Leftovers
Ability: Magnet Pull
Nature: Timid
[Moveset]
1: Substitute
2: Thunderbolt
3: Hidden Power Fire
4: Flash Cannon
40 HP / 252 SpA / 216 Spe

Traps opposing steel types like Exca and Ferro, hits with Hidden Power fire, also takes out water types. Stops Ferrothorn from setting up which is honestly a huge bother. Can also hit the popular sun Pokemon, Venesaur with HP Fire. He can be switched out of the team but for now I think he sticks well. Although HP fire is also his weakness so it's a risk. Trapping an opponent who isn't expecting Magnezone can lead to a few free kills, easily stopping Scizor setups on the fly.

Landorus @ Choice Scarf
[Moveset]
Nature: Naive
Ability: Sand Power
1: Earthquake
2: Stone Edge
3: Outrage
4: Hidden Power Ice
4 SpA / 252 Atk / 252 Spe

My hard hitter, Rock Polish let's me build up speed and hit boosted stab in Sandstorm. Hidden power Ice hits grass and Gliscor. The strength core of my team, using Sand Power to hit as hard as possible. Rock Polish helps me outspeed against an attack team, giving me an upper hand. Life orb gives me more option in my coverage instead of something like choice band, ect. Plus DjLandlos is an awesome nickname. I've switched him into a Revenge killing Choice scarf set. Hammer Arm is an option over outrage but I think I'll stick with outrage.
