Alright, save time and go direct to the explanations! :D
Luna (Mawile) @ Mawilite
Ability: Intimidate -> Huge Power
EVs: 252 Hp / 116 Atk / 20 Def / 116 SpD / 4 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Iron Head
- Sucker Punch
- Play Rough
- Protect
The Mega of the team and the starting point of the teambuilding process, this MegaMawile is set in order to resist:
Magic Shroom (Amoonguss) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 180 Def / 76+ SpD
IVs: 0 Spe
Sassy Nature
- Rage powder
- Spore
- Sludge Bomb
- Protect
Pretty standard Amoonguss, can survive Life Orb Talonflame Brave Bird at -1 Atk (!), and MegaKangaskhan Double Edge: Amoonguss is a good counter for the latter, with a combination of double recoil and double Rocky Helmet damage. 0 Spe to counter Trick Room users better, Rage Powder for general redirection; Regenerator lenghtens Amoonguss' lifespan when switching out.
H-Motor (Rotom-H) @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 188 HP / 60 Def / 128 SpA / 132 Spe
IVs: 0 Atk / 30 SpA
Modest nature
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power [Grass]
- Overheat
- Protect
***Credits to Ferdinando, who shared this spread with me: thx man ;)***
A true cleaner, I saw it in action in my friend's team and I saw a small microwave oven killing lions and "croissant-dragons" here and there: but since I can handle MegaMence and Lando with Swampert, I opted to give Rotom-H a way to play around Gastrodon, who can come in and basically wall him, on the form of the not-so-seen Hidden Power Grass. With this spread, Rotom-H can resist 2 Rock Slides fron Adamant Landorus or one from Jolly Terrakion, can resist Kanga's Double Edge, and Scalds from uninvested mons like defensive Suicune; in exchange, it can OHKO Gastrodon, can 2HKO Suicune, and heavily damage many neutral targets with Overheat. Life Orb boosts Rotom's attacks, making him difficult to wall.
GumBall (Swampert) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Torrent
Shiny: Yes (^_^)
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 Spe
Modest Nature
- Earth Power
- Ice Beam
- Scald
- Wide Guard
What can I say about my GumBall? Firstly, he's my first hatched SFBP ^_^ ; secondly he's a OHKO machine: Megamence, Landorus, Garchomp, Heatran, just to name a few. Simple 252/252 to maximize bulk and offense. The moveset is pretty standard too, as it is all GumBall needs to perform as a cleaner.
Voltaire (Thundurus) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 212 Hp / 108 Def / 4 SpA / 76 SpD / 108 Spe
Timid Nature
- Taunt
- Thunder Wave
- Thunderbolt
- Protect
I know, I know: "OMG where's da HP Ice?!?!", "Thundurus MUST have HP Ice" and so...
well, mine is full 6IVs so I don't care about the lack of HP Ice ^_^
The moveset is this in order to maximize the "Annoying Factor": fast Taunt for TRs. Thunder Wave for speedy 'mons, and Protect at preference.
Thunderbolt deals many damages to Mega Charizard Y, Suicune and others; 108 Spe alongside Timid nature in order to outspeed baste 100s max EVs Positive Nature (Zard Kanga & company)
Astryd (Scrafty) @ Assault Vest
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 HP / 196 Atk / 12 Def / 4 SpD / 44 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Knock Off
- Rock Slide
- Drain Punch
- Fake Out
Have you seen the German National Championship Finals? In Match 3, an Adamant AV Scrafty owned by Markus S. cleaned the field (3/4 put KO by him!), so I decided to go for an Adamant AV Scrafty myself!
Results are pretty interesting: he she can survive a Brave Bird from -1 Choice Band Talonflame. takes more or less 66% from MegaKangaskhan Double-Edge, and naturally resists Modest MegaCharizard Y Overheat under the sun!
As if it wasn't enough, he can OHKO Tyranitar, Terrakion (ps. Close Combat is a 2HKO), MegaZard and Talonflame (thanks to Rock Slide), 2HKOs Cresselia with Knock Off and gives Fake Out support.
Any suggestion is appreciated since this will probably be the team I'll bring to Italian nationals in June ;)
Thanks in advance!!
